New uniqueness results for boundary value problem of fractional differential equation

    Get PDF
In this paper, uniqueness results for boundary value problem of fractional differential equation are obtained. Both the Banach's contraction mapping principle and the theory of linear operator are used, and a comparison between the obtained results is provided

Positive solutions of higher order fractional integral boundary value problem with a parameter

    Get PDF
In this paper, we study a higher-order fractional differential equation with integral boundary conditions and a parameter. Under different conditions of nonlinearity, existence and nonexistence results for positive solutions are derived in terms of different intervals of parameter. Our approach relies on the Guo–Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem on cones

A sufficient and necessary condition of existence of blow-up radial solutions for a k-Hessian equation with a nonlinear operator

    Get PDF
In this paper, we establish the results of nonexistence and existence of blow-up radial solutions for a k-Hessian equation with a nonlinear operator. Under some suitable growth conditions for nonlinearity, the result of nonexistence of blow-up solutions is established, a sufficient and necessary condition on existence of blow-up solutions is given, and some further results are obtained.&nbsp

Existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for a class of nonlinear fractional differential equations with mixed-type boundary value conditions

    Get PDF
In this article, we study a class of nonlinear fractional differential equations with mixed-type boundary conditions. The fractional derivatives are involved in the nonlinear term and the boundary conditions. By using the properties of the Green function, the fixed point index theory and the Banach contraction mapping principle based on some available operators, we obtain the existence of positive solutions and a unique positive solution of the problem. Finally, two examples are given to demonstrate the validity of our main results

Uniqueness of iterative positive solutions for the singular infinite-point p-Laplacian fractional differential system via sequential technique

    Get PDF
By sequential techniques and mixed monotone operator, the uniqueness of positive solution for singular p-Laplacian fractional differential system with infinite-point boundary conditions is obtained. Green's function is derived, and some useful properties of Green' function are obtained. Based on these new properties, the existence of unique positive solutions is established, moreover, an iterative sequence and a convergence rate are given, which are important for practical application, and an example is given to demonstrate the validity of our main results

The spectral analysis for a singular fractional differential equation with a signed measure

    No full text
In this paper, by using the spectral analysis of the relevant linear operator and Gelfand’s formula, we obtain some properties of the first eigenvalue of a fractional differential equation. Based on these properties, the fixed point index of the nonlinear operator is calculated explicitly and some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions are established
