RESUMO Trata-se de uma reflexão sobre o direito ao esquecimento no contexto das máquinas sociais que atuam hoje na web 3.0, bem como uma apresentação da “nova” conjuntura de distribuição da informação. A reflexão foi baseada em uma pesquisa bibliográfica e apresenta como resultado a ineficácia da forma como o direito ao esquecimento vem sendo aplicado mediante as complexas estruturas de conexão existentes entre usuários, software social e dispositivos (hardware) concebidos para colaborar entre si. Desta forma, desconectar-se, mais do que um direito, torna-se um dever para quem escolhe ser esquecido. Palavras-chave: Máquinas Sociais; Direito ao Esquecimento; Conexão; Esquecimento; Internet. ABSTRACT This paper presents a reflection on the right to be forgotten in the context of social machines currently operating on the web 3.0 and discusses this “new” environment of information distribution. Our reflection is based on a review of the literature and suggests the ineffectiveness of the ways in which the right to be forgotten is being applied due to the complex connection structures that exist among users, social software and devices (hardware) that are designed to work together. Funções do Jornalista em ecossistema informativo digital conectado composto por máquinas sociais pré-cognitivas

O artigo visa discutir as competências mínimas necessárias, como dotar o profissional de jornalismo de um pensamento computacional, com o objetivo que possa atuar com relevância num ecossistema informativo composto por máquinas sociais pré-cognitivas (máquinas computacionais com viés cognitivo). Assim, a questão central deste trabalho está no debate sobre os procedimentos profissionais o jornalista deve possuir nesse novo ecossistema informativo, em função de poder exercer a sua atividade na plenitude, no campo da produção e disseminação da informação de relevância social. Para isso, argumenta a partir das premissas que compõe a Deontologia do Jornalismo, passando pelos níveis necessários de apropriação tecnológica dos profissionais da produção de informação de relevância social. Aborda o Pensamento Computacional como lógica a ser adotada para a construção mental de produtos e conteúdos jornalísticos em ambiente informativo digital conectado, visando apropriar-se com profundidade de ferramentas que possam dar valor informativo e construir narrativas apropriadas aos dispositivos de comunicação que evoluem tecnologicamente e são cada vez mais “inteligentes”.

A internet suas inovações mudaram novos paradigmas e estratégias de crescimento de processos, métodos, sistemas organizacionais e sociais, transformando em transformações e digitais. Um dos paradigmas é os problemas de máquinas que integram elementos computacionais e sociais software, fazendo com que a complexidade de operações e serviços pautados seja pela sociedade e pela sociedade sejam adaptados à prática de resolução de problemas sociais. Applying mechanical philosophy to web science: The case of social machines

Social machines are a prominent focus of attention for those who work in the field of Web and Internet science. Although a number of online systems have been described as social machines, there is, as yet, little consensus as to the precise meaning of the term “social machine.” This presents a problem for the scientific study of social machines, especially when it comes to the provision of a theoretical framework that directs, informs, and explicates the scientific and engineering activities of the social machine community. The present paper outlines an approach to understanding social machines that draws on recent work in the philosophy of science, especially work in so-called mechanical philosophy. This is what might be called a mechanistic view of social machines. According to this view, social machines are systems whose phenomena are explained via an appeal to socio-technical mechanisms. We show how this account is able to accommodate a number of existing attempts to define the social machine concept, thereby yielding an important opportunity for theoretical integration

Politische Maschinen: Maschinelles Lernen für das Verständnis von sozialen Maschinen

This thesis investigates human-algorithm interactions in sociotechnological ecosystems. Specifically, it applies machine learning and statistical methods to uncover political dimensions of algorithmic influence in social media platforms and automated decision making systems. Based on the results, the study discusses the legal, political and ethical consequences of algorithmic implementations.Diese Arbeit untersucht Mensch-Algorithmen-Interaktionen in sozio-technologischen Ökosystemen. Sie wendet maschinelles Lernen und statistische Methoden an, um politische Dimensionen des algorithmischen Einflusses auf Socialen Medien und automatisierten Entscheidungssystemen aufzudecken. Aufgrund der Ergebnisse diskutiert die Studie die rechtlichen, politischen und ethischen Konsequenzen von algorithmischen Anwendungen
