The main objective for this project is to develop a Virtual Interactive Tutorial System for Calculus using Web-based learning where students can utilize internet technology to gain Output learning. This project involved three important tools which is PHP programming language, MySQL database management system and XAMPP server. Firstly we write a source code for our system using PHP language, then we store our database using MySQL and finally we test our system on local server using XAMPP

The definitive Version of Record was published in http://dx.doi.org/10.1145/2729094.2742615Automated marking of multiple-choice exams is of great interest in university courses with a large number of students. For this reason, it has been systematically implanted in almost all universities. Automatic assessment of source code is however less extended. There are several reasons for that. One reason is that almost all existing systems are based on output comparison with a gold standard. If the output is the expected, the code is correct. Otherwise, it is reported as wrong, even if there is only one typo in the code. Moreover, why it is wrong remains a mystery. In general, assessment tools treat the code as a black box, and they only assess the externally observable behavior. In this work we introduce a new code assessment method that also verifies properties of the code, thus allowing to mark the code even if it is only partially correct.     Mathematics base for navigation mobile robot using reachability petri net

    Navigation is the journey that brings the precision and accuracy especially for the trip from one place to many destinations. Traveling mobile robot will be challenged when there are plenty of travel options and obstacles; it is necessary for special methods to deal with this. Petri net modeling is one method that can be applied in this navigation. As a model network graph, Petri net can be seen as a model of superior visuals for their token moves that define the process dynamics of a system. Other models that have been provided, such as flow charts, block diagrams or network topology, are using the method of mathematical reachability. Meanwhile Petri net obtained the navigation as a result of marking the value. The final results of this research is that Petri net can be used to obtain mobile robot for navigation

    Contemporary developments in teaching and learning introductory programming: Towards a research proposal

    The teaching and learning of introductory programming in tertiary institutions is problematic. Failure rates are high and the inability of students to complete small programming tasks at the completion of introductory units is not unusual. The literature on teaching programming contains many examples of changes in teaching strategies and curricula that have been implemented in an effort to reduce failure rates. This paper analyses contemporary research into the area, and summarises developments in the teaching of introductory programming. It also focuses on areas for future research which will potentially lead to improvements in both the teaching and learning of introductory programming. A graphical representation of the issues from the literature that are covered in the document is provided in the introduction

    Oii-web: An interactive online programming contest training system

    In this paper we report our experience, related to the online training for the Italian and International Olympiads in Informatics. We developed an interactive online system, based on CMS, the grading system used in several major programming contests including the International Olympiads in Informatics (IOI), and used it in three distinct context: training students for the Italian Olympiads in Informatics (OII), training teachers in order to be able to assist students for the OII, and training the Italian team for the IOI. The system, that is freely available, proved to be a game changer for the whole italian olympiads in informatics ecosystem: in one year, we almost doubled the participation to OII, from 13k to 21k secondary school students. The system is developed basing on the Contest Management System (CMS, http://cms- dev.github.io/), so it is highly available to extensions supporting, for instance, the pro- duction of feedback on problems solutions submitted by trainees.
