Purpose: The intention of this paper is the presentation of a new integrated approach for solving a multi attribute decision making problem by the use of Entropy Fuzzy and F- PROMETHEE (fuzzy preference ranking method for enrichment evaluation) techniques. Design/methodology/approach: In these sorts of multi attribute decision making problem, a number of criteria and alternatives are put forward as input data. Ranking of these alternatives according to mentioned criteria is regarded as the outcome of solving these kinds of problems. Initially, weights of criteria are determined by implementation of Entropy Fuzzy method. According to determined weights, F-PROMETHEE method is exerted to rank these alternatives in terms of desirability of DM (decision maker). Findings: Being in an uncertain environment and vagueness of DM’s judgments, lead us to implement an algorithm which can deal with these constraints properly. This technique namely called Entropy Fuzzy as a weighting method and F-PROMETHEE is performed to fulfill this approach more precisely according to tangible and intangible aspects. The main finding of applied approach is the final ranking of alternatives helping DM to have a more reliable decision. Originality/Value: The main contribution of this approach is the giving real significance to DM’s attitudes about mentioned criteria in determined alternatives which is not elucidate in former approaches like Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Furthermore, previous methods like Shanon Entropy do not pay attention sufficiently to satisfaction degree of each criterion in proposed alternatives, regarding to DM’s statements. Comprehensive explanations about these procedures have been made in miscellaneous sections of this article.Peer Reviewe

[EN] The publication opportunities in science require knowing the existing gaps in the academic debate. In recent decades, scholars specializing in fuzzy theory and applied methodologies have experienced an unprecedented evolution of the field. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have shaped the way socio-technical transitions use fuzzy methodologies to solve environmental problems. This study conducts a systematic literature review of articles published in the Journal Citations Report on these specific fields. The Web of Science (Core Collection) was used and a database was assembled (N = 1956) that allowed the evaluation of the evolution of the research agenda and detecting high-impact publication opportunities. A model of analysis of successful strategies in academic influence is proposed. The model is tested with a configurational methodology through fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). The conditions used are: number of authors, underlying interest of the researchers, standardized citations per year, age of the articles and link of the research with sustainability. The results are solid and inform five paths that ensure the success of academic publications in high-impact journals. The robustness of the model allows its extrapolation to other fields of research. The contribution of this article allows knowledge of the academic conversation and its research opportunities. In addition, it clarifies the different paths that guarantee high impact research articles. This article offers important recommendations for academics and journal editors, allowing them to guide and advise academic production in the scholarly debate of the future. This research was funded by ESIC Business and Marketing School under grant number 1-V-2021 and is part of the SEDDeS Research Group (Society, Digital Economy and Sustainable Development).Castello-Sirvent, F. Simplified Intuitionistic Neutrosophic Soft Set and its Application on Diagnosing Psychological Disorder by Using Similarity Measure

The primary focus of this manuscript comprises three sections. Initially, we introduce the concept of a simplified intuitionistic neutrosophic soft set. We impose an intuitionistic condition between the membership values of truth and falsity such that their sum does not exceed unity. Similarly, for indeterminacy, the membership value is a real number from the closed interval [0, 1]. Hence, the sum of membership values of truth, indeterminacy, and falsity does not exceed two. We present the notion of necessity, possibility, concentration, and dilation operators and establish some of its properties. Second, we define the similarity measure between two simplified intuitionistic neutrosophic soft sets. Also, we discuss its superiority by comparing it with existing methods. Finally, we develop an algorithm and illustrate with an example of diagnosing psychological disorders. Even though the similarity measure plays a vital role in diagnosing psychological disorders, existing methods deal hardly in diagnosing psychological disorders. By nature, most of the psychological disorder behaviors are ambivalence. Hence, it is vital to capture the membership values by using simplified intuitionistic neutrosophic soft set. In this manuscript, we provide a solution in diagnosing psychological disorders, and the proposed similarity measure is valuable and compatible in diagnosing psychological disorders in any neutrosophic environment

On Intuitionistic Fuzzy Entropy of Order-α

Using the idea of Rènyi’s entropy, intuitionistic fuzzy entropy of order-α is proposed in the setting of intuitionistic fuzzy sets theory. This measure is a generalized version of fuzzy entropy of order-α proposed by Bhandari and Pal and intuitionistic fuzzy entropy defined by Vlachos and Sergiadis. Our study of the four essential and some other properties of the proposed measure clearly establishes the validity of the measure as intuitionistic fuzzy entropy. Finally, a numerical example is given to show that the proposed entropy measure for intuitionistic fuzzy set is reasonable by comparing it with other existing entropies

An Efficient Approach for Solving Time-Dependent Shortest Path Problem under Fermatean Neutrosophic Environment

    Get PDF
Efficiently determining optimal paths and calculating the least travel time within complex networks is of utmost importance in addressing transportation challenges. Several techniques have been developed to identify the most effective routes within graphs, with the Reversal Dijkstra algorithm serving as a notable variant of the classical Dijkstra’s algorithm. To accommodate uncertainty within the Reversal Dijkstra algorithm, Fermatean neutrosophic numbers are harnessed. The travel time associated with the edges, which represents the connection between two nodes, can be described using fermatean neutrosophic numbers. Furthermore, the edge weights in fermatean neutrosophic graphs can be subject to temporal variations, meaning they can change over time. In this study, an extended version of the Reversal Dijkstra algorithm is employed to discover the shortest path and compute the minimum travel time within a single-source time-dependent network, where the edges are weighted using fermatean neutrosophic representations. The proposed method is exemplified, and the outcomes affirm the effectiveness of the expanded algorithm. The primary aim of this article is to serve as a reference for forthcoming shortest path algorithms designed for time-dependent fuzzy graphs

New logarithmic operational laws and their applications to multiattribute decision making for single-valued neutrosophic numbers

Neutrosophic set, initiated by Smarandache, is a novel tool to deal with vagueness considering the truth, indeterminacy and falsity memberships satisfying the condition that their sum is less than 3. This set can be used to characterize the information more accurately than the intuitionistic fuzzy set. Under this set, the objective of this manuscript is to present some new operational laws called as logarithm operational laws with real number base k for the single-valued neutrosophic (SVN) numbers. Various desirable properties of the proposed operational laws are contemplated. Further, based on these laws, different weighted averaging and geometric aggregation operators are developed
