Evidence-Based Policies on Mathematics Education in Europe

Evidence-based polices have important place for the educational development. Monitoring and reporting activities through national and international reports and surveys provide data sources for a comparable education in Europe and make contribution to a more effective policy making process. It is seen that only almost half of the European countries carry out such surveys and reports by the year of 2010/2011 within the context of teaching methods and low achievement in mathematics education. Below is a quick summary of the current situation for Iowa’s major agricultural commodities, based on the latest reports and surveys from USDA. The majority of the information for the USDA reports was gathered before the latest rounds in the US-China trade dispute. However, the outlook highlights the importance of trade in agriculture and shows the avenues where trade will inβluence production and consumption decisions

The internet has been a best source for the medical service previously, anyhow the internet has been using to maintain the best patient-doctor relationship. Applications offering healthcare services on the move have recently become more prevalent on the market. They have been the trending in worldwide. Our online medical consultation is secured for the users to login individually and to process their services. This study presents an analysis of the published surveys and reports as well as the literature on online medical consultation from different databases. According to published studies, reports, and surveys, there has been a dramatic increase in online medical consultations due to several causes, including convenience, changes in illness patterns, cost-effectiveness, privacy, and second opinions

Evaluation of Professional Quality Reports for U. S. Automotive Market between 2001 and 2012

Before purchasing a car, consumers review the information on the quality, reliability, safety and customer satisfaction to minimize their risk of purchasing a car with defects. Two major sources of such information are Consumer Reports and surveys by J. D. Power and Associates: Initial Quality Survey and Vehicle Dependability Study). These reports have established a reputation for their independence, reliability and unbiased opinions. The purpose of this paper is to determine whether consumers rely on these reports in purchasing a new car, and if this is the case, which report has more impact on consumer purchasing behavior. The impact of these reports on the market share of the foreign and domestic automobile manufacturers in the U. S. market between 2001 and 2012 was analyzed using the event study methodology

Musselman Library Updated Strategic Priorities 2016-2018

This document updates Musselman Library’s 2013 Strategic Plan, retaining the strategic directions that still require attention and adding new priority areas. This update grew out of an all-staff discussion on November 3, 2016, in which library employees identified areas of success/completion and pinpointed unfinished business from the 2013-2016 plan. The staff also suggested other areas to develop. In response to these suggestions, department heads updated the 2013-2016 plan. In this update we have: Retained three strategic directions from the original plan with some changes and additions: Lifelong Learning, Sustainability, and Assessment. Reframed the Leadership plank in the context of Scholarly Communications priorities. Added a fifth strategic priority: Diversity and Inclusion
