Review helpfulness prediction: Survey

Online reviews have become the major driving factor influencing purchasing behavior and patterns of social customers. However, it is difficult for customer to cover good reviews about any product or service according to massive amount of reviews latest years. Many previous researches provide innovative models about predicting review helpfulness in E-commerce websites. Some of these studies exploring the direct effect of review attributes on review helpfulness while others focused on reviewer’s attributes only. The main objective of this research is to review the most important attributes that have an affect on review helpfulness from many perspectives such as datasets, techniques, frameworks and evaluation methods of the experiments. Análise de Métodos de Extração de Aspectos em Opiniões Regulares

Um sistema de Mineração de Opinião consiste de identificação, classificação e sumarização de descrições textuais de consumidores sobre produtos e serviços. Este trabalho apresenta uma análise comparativa entre as principais abordagens usadas na tarefa de Extração de Aspectos em comentários sobre produtos e serviços em web sites. Neste artigo foram implementadas adaptações de quatro métodos de extração de aspectos e avaliados em dois Corpora distintos: um em português e outro em inglês. Nos experimentos realizados foi observado que o método usando aprendizagem supervisionada (redes neurais convolucionais) obteve melhores resultados que os demais

Energy systems are transiting from conventional energy systems to modernized and smart energy systems. This Special Issue covers new advances in the emerging technologies for modern energy systems from both technical and management perspectives. In modern energy systems, an integrated and systematic view of different energy systems, from local energy systems and islands to national and multi-national energy hubs, is important. The road to the future will not be easy, and indeed, new technologies, markets, architectures, infrastructures, actors, and business models should be developed, and major changes will be required in the regulation of the energy systems to further support new business models and new consumption patterns. Such a transition requires rethinking every single aspect of energy systems, starting from the way energy is produced and harvested to the way that we dispatch and use it. In this area, it is also imperative to understand how to control and manage existing and emerging technologies to enhance the energy economy and efficiency by active participation in different services required by energy networks
