    Get PDF
In a digital world, job seekers prefer to use e-recruitment in looking for a vacancy. Thus, the explanation of the determinants of their attitude in using this technology is left unobserved. This article reports the result of a survey study on how users utilize e-recruitment to search for works. Three hundred eighty-five just-graduated undergraduate students answered questions regarding their intention of using the e-recruitment under Technology Acceptance Model. We propose Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived of Enjoyment as the determinants of the job seekers intention. Results showed that those three variables influence the decision making of job seekers. We found also Perceived Usefulness is the mediating effect for jobs seekers in easy-to-use and enjoy feeling. This article provides evidence that e-recruitment has to be friendly user and fun to use to attract job seekers intention. Get PDF
The aspiration of this research is to study the factors that influence the intention to use mobile banking in Malaysian perspective by using integrated model TRAM. The theoretical framework of this research is the combination of technology readiness (TR) and technology acceptance model (TAM), where perceived usefulness completely mediates the impact of technology readiness towards the intention to use mobile banking. This research employed the full 16-item of technology readiness index (Parasuraman and Colby, 2014) to measure optimism, innovativeness, discomfort, and insecurity; whereas perceived usefulness and intention to use were adapted from Davis (1989) and Wang et al., (2006). Based on the research analysis, optimism and innovativeness have a positive effect on customer’s perceived usefulness of mobile banking. Whereas, discomfort and insecurity indicate a weak correlation towards perceived usefulness. On the contrary, perceived usefulness has a strong correlation in influencing the customer’s intention to use mobile banking. This research provides a useful understanding of customer’s perceived usefulness and their intention to use mobile banking

This paper investigates economic and subjective effects of public business assistance delivered to nascent entrepreneurs in Germany. Employing cluster analysis, we explore the actual scope and intensity of business assistance used. Then we analyze predictors of take-up and perceived usefulness taking into account the different patterns of utilized assistance. Finally, we assess economic effects by studying subsequent business performance employing propensity score matching. We cannot reveal that business assistance translates into better start-up performance. However, we find that a lack of personal entrepreneurial resources predicts take-up of business assistance in general as well as perceived usefulness of comprehensive business assistance.entrepreneurship, business assistance, policy evaluation, entrepreneurial resources, big five

Virtual stores provide great efficiency in the retail value chain, and their existence has tremendously paved the way for electronic commerce. Understanding the intention of consumers to shop online in attitudinal perspective will provide important contribution to the area of e-commerce. This research proposes Task Technology Fit, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Usefulness as the factors that drive consumers’ intention. The results from our survey study of 310 online consumers in Indonesia indicate that user TTF is the determinant for PEoU and PU. Our hierarchical model also reports that PEoU is the mediating effect on the relationship between TTF and Intention. The resulting model explains a large portion of the factors that lead a user’s behavioural intention to use a virtual shop.
