The results of the study using the National Aeronautics And Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method from the 2 employees/office pt. Total Auto Mandiri. All of them have a high category of mental workload. For the first worker on behalf of Icha Septiawati, female gender, office position, accounting department has wwl with a rate of 98.6%.     Analysis of Mental Workload on Counter Sales Using NASA-TLX Method

    PT. XYZ is a service-oriented branch company that provides consumers with a wide range of products. Services provided by this company is divided into three main sections, namely sales, service, and spare part. One of the main parts is sales, which is selling units of cars carried out by counter sales to meet targets. The demand for achieving targets provides a psychological workload for counter sales. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the mental workload in this area. The work measurement method used in this research is NASA-TLX. This method was developed based on the emergence of subjective measurement needs in measuring workload using six indicators, namely mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, own performance, effort, and level of frustration. The results showed that WWL values ​​were in the range of 88.33-91.67 and had a very high category. Several recommendations for improvement that need to be implemented include evaluating picket scheduling by considering predictions of increased customer visits, conducting routine training and providing motivation, and providing rewards as a form of appreciation for workers according to their achievements

    Human resources (HR) work activities are very important for business processes, so human resource factors must be taken into account and paid attention to. This research was conducted at the Engineering Department of PT. Z is responsible for product design and product development. This research aims to measure the workload of Engineering Department employees at PT. Z in order to increase employee productivity. This research uses the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Workload Index (NASA-TLX) method. This method is used to analyze the mental workload felt by Engineering Department employees when carrying out work activities and is expected to improve an existing system to increase work comfort and productivity. Based on the final NASA TLX score for the Engineering Department of PT Z, five employees have a very high level of mental workload, two employees have a high level of mental workload, two employees have a medium level of mental workload, and one employee has a light level of mental workload. Then for the mental workload of PT employees. Z based on the NASA-TLX method obtained an average WWL value of 72.9, which means it is included in the mental load classification, therefore there is a need for work improvement.     Unlocking the Hidden Impact: How Mental Workload Shapes Safety-Insights from NOSACQ-50 and NASA-TLX Method

    The decrease in capability is caused by work fatigue and the level of error in work will increase. The increase in errors in work will cause the opportunity for work accidents in the industry which is the cause and effect of a work accident. This study aimed to determine solutions to eliminate mental workload from a safety climate based on NOSACQ-50 using the NASA-TLX method at PT. X part of The Batam City field in 2021. This quantitative study uses an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach between NOSACQ-50 to determine safety climate and NASA-TLX Method to determine mental workload based on the safety climate. The objects of this research are all workers of PT. X in 2021, with a sample size of 30 respondents. Statistical analysis used chi-square test. The results of this study show that Mental Workload in PT.X mostly was in moderate Level (73,3%) with the highest workload score was in the physical needs. NASA-TLX shows that Empowerment of Work Safety from Management was the significant factor causing mental stress. It was concluded that mental stress is caused by poor work arrangements. Suggestions for companies is to rotate work in each group of workers, especially riggers so that the workload is evenly distributed, and top management participates and is committed to carrying out OHS programs by directly demonstrating the programs that have been set

    CV. Istiqomah Furniture is a company engaged in manufacturing furniture located in Klaten, Central Java. The problems that are often faced by CV. Istiqomah Furniture, namely the decrease in worker productivity and the number of final products that are not following company standards. One of the departments responsible for these problems is the service department. The high intensity of work in the service department can cause a mental burden for workers. The purpose of this study is to calculate the mental workload felt byworkers, find out the dominant factors that cause this mental burden, and provide alternative improvements based on the problems faced by the company. The method used in this research is NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index). The results of this study are that the average worker has a high mental workload with a WWL value of 72.11, and the mostinfluential factors are physical and mental needs. Based on these results, the proposed improvements provide sufficient rest time, improve worker safety and comfort, increase work motivation, provide adequate facilities, conduct medical tests, and provide good nutrition

    Ciganitri Pants Garment is a home industry engaged in field jeans convection, the activity is to make several jeans for men of different types. In carrying out its activities the operator at Ciganitri Pants Garment gets a high customer demand and often does not fulfill it, making the operator\u27s mental workload increase. So it is necessary to analyze how much mental workload is experienced and what factors that influence it. Therefore Ciganitri Pants Garment can determine the right steps to improve conditions. One of method that can be used to measure mental workloadn is NASA-TLX. The NASA-TLX method is a method of measuring mental workload that divides workload into 6 working element dimensions. From the results of NASA-TLX calculations, the value of mental workload for several operators Ciganitri Pants Garment is at a high level with the highest mental workload indicators are PD (Physical Demand) and MD (Mental Demand) scales. Therefore, it is necessary to add operators to 4 Work Stations, so that the operator, which originally 12, became 16 operators working on 10 Work Stations. Research of T.Fariz Hidayat, et al (2013) that conducted in one of the hospital in Indonesia showed that the results of workload measurement that dominant in physical needs (PD) factors affect the workload of nurses. The results obtained in Ciganitri Jeans Konveksi have in common with the results of research conducted in one of the hospital in Indonesia that physical needs are the most important factor that caused the high workload.     Pandemi COVID-19 telah menjadi perhatian di seluruh dunia. Kebijakan dalam rangka pencegahan penyebaran virus seperti pembelajaran online juga diberlakukan pada mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran online mayoritas mengalami keluhan beban kerja mental. Metode penelitian ini adalah literatur review dengan menghasilkan 11 artikel penelitian. Pada umumnya untuk meneliti beban kerja mental pada mahasiswa, menggunakan metode NASA-TLX dimana tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas lebih tinggi dan sudah teruji pada banyak penelitian. Dari 11 jurnal, responden (mahasiswa) mengalami beban mental selama pembelajaran daring. Kategori beban mental berada pada tingkat tinggi dan sedang.   Mental Burden on Students During Online Lectures Abstract: COVID-19 pandemic has become an international concern. Policies to prevent the spread of disease, such as learning from home, are applied to university students. Students who follow online learning the majority experience mental workload complaints. This research method is a review literature by producing 11 research articles. In general, to research the mental workload in students, using the NASA-TLX method where the level of validity and reliability is higher and has been tested in many studies.     Giving excessive workloads causes work stress both physically and psychologically and emotional reactions. The excess workload experienced by drivers and swampers at PT XYZ results in reduced attention at work, decreased work motivation, and decreased skill levels, thus affecting drivers and swampers productivity and the chance of a work accident is very high. This study aims to measure the Mental Workload of Job Driver and Swampers Fuel Tank Using the NASA-TLX Method. The NASA-TLX score obtained 93.8, driver 2  get 83.7, driver 3  91.3, swamper 1  91, swamper 2 89.5, and swamper 3 94.7. Elements of mental workload that are very influential are Mental Demand with a percentage of 22%, Effort 20%, Physical Demand 18%, Own Performance 15%, Frustation Level 15% and Temporal Demand 12%
