    Challenges Faced in the Implementation of the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation Economic Policy from 2013 to 2018

    A number of policies have been put in place as of 1980 but the implementation of the policy objectives has been highly compromised. This research is therefore premised on exploring the challenges faced in the implementation of economic policies using the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (ZIMASSET) of 2013 to 2018 as the focal point. The study employs a case study research design which triangulates qualitative as well as quantitative research methods into mixed methods. On sampling techniques, the research employs simple random sampling and purposive sampling. Structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews were also used in collecting data. The research established that the ZIMASSET policy has been ruled out as an appetizing economic blueprint which when followed to its logical conclusions can in a way turn around the economic fortunes of the country. Be that as it may, some contend that there is nothing peculiar about the ZIMASSET policy as it is yet another attempt by the ZANU-PF led government to moot a policy that will die a premature death. In light of this, the study recommends policy autonomy, multiplicity of sources of funding, supporting the agricultural sector, curbing corruption, clear policy procedures as well as utmost commitment to the policy as strategies that can enhance the successful implementation of future economic policies in Zimbabwe

    Solar Panel Remote Monitoring and Control System on Miniature Weather Stations Based on Web Server and ESP32

    The weather station helps in planning socioeconomic activities such as agriculture, tourism, transportation, marine activities and plantations. The station needs an energy source, an electric energy source to operate, and is needed to get continuous assistance. This study aims to build a system for using two sources of electrical energy to support electricity stations that can be monitored and control remotely and provide information on the use of electrical energy in miniature weather stations into a web server. This research produces a remote monitoring and control system that can automatically switch primary energy sources to backup energy sources. When taking the main current source goes out, the system is able to carry the energy source back to the main source back to the main source alive again. The system can make changes manually using a web server that can be controlled remotely. When the battery reaches a voltage above 14.40 volts, the charging process stops and the system uses electrical energy from the battery. When the battery voltage reads 11.89 volts, do the battery charging process again. Electrical energy system information on miniature stations can display information about voltage, current, power, temperature and intensity of sunlight in the form of graphical visualization in real time

    Formulations of Herbal medicine are continuously being developed to improve health and treatment through natural ingredients obtained from the surrounding environment with scientific evidence. Common problems in herbal medicine are bioavailability, solubility, absorption of active substances and low stability. Recently, it has become a development trend to enter the realm of nanoparticle technology to its application in herbal drug formulations. Nanoparticle technology is a technology of drug particles are made on the nanoscale (10 nm-1000 nm). Many studies have been carried out on the development and application of nanoparticle-based delivery technology containing natural ingredients, from these results nanoparticle-based delivery technology has succeeded in delivering these natural materials through certain mechanisms in increasing the activity and bioavailability of herbal medicinal compounds. Particles at the nanoparticle scale have distinctive physical properties compared to particles at a larger size, especially in increasing the amount and purpose of delivering drug compounds. Another advantage of nanoparticle technology is the potential to be combined with other technologies, thus opening up opportunities to produce more perfect and targeted delivery systems. Examples of nanotechnologies that can be used are polymer nanoparticles, solid lipid particles, magnetic nanoparticles, and others. The manufacture of preparations based on nanoparticle technology is an alternative in the manufacture of herbal medicines and it is hoped that the bioavailability and therapy produced in the body will be better

    Premature babies are babies born alive before the 37th week of gestational age which is calculated from the first day of the last menstruation. Baby care in an incubator is a method of caring for infants by putting the baby in a device that serves to help create adequate ambient temperatures with normal temperatures. Providing optimal nutrition is important in the management of premature and very low weight babies. Prevention of infection is the most important part of every newborn component. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between post natal care and premature baby health at the Siti Fatimah Makassar Hospital. This study is a cross sectional study, the population in this study were all babies born at gestational age less than 37 weeks and who were temporarily undergoing treatment at Siti Fatimah Hospital Makassar. Sampling using purposive sampling, obtained 30 samples according to inclusion criteria. Data collection is done in a primary way with direct observation techniques. The collected data is then processed and analyzed using Microsoft Excel computer programs and statistical programs (SPSS) version 6.0. Data analysis includes univariate analysis by looking for frequency distribution, bivariate analysis with chi-square test (x <0.05), to determine the relationship between variables. The results of the bivariate analysis found a relationship between postnatal care with premature infant health (p = 0.033). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between post natal care with premature baby health at the Siti Fatimah Makassar Hospital. Therefore, paramedics should make efforts to continuously improve health services and carry out care of premature babies properly and apply optimal care facilities. For further research, researchers can conduct studies on other treatments provided to premature babies

    Sistem Temujanji Interaktif Berasaskan WEB

    Kajian ini menghasilkan sistem berasaskan web yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan penepatan temujanji bagi pensyarah Jabatan Komputeran, Fakulti Seni, Komputeran dan Industri Kreatif dan pelajar program Kejuruteraan Perisian (AC10) yang dikenali sebagai AC10 Appointment System. Tujuan utama pembangunan sistem ini adalah untuk memudahkan pelajar membuat temujanji dengan pensyarah dengan lebih teratur dan tersusun disamping memudahkan urusan pensyarah menerima termujanji yang akan dibuat oleh pelajar. Sistem ini telah dibangunkan dengan menggunakan metodologi prototaip. Instrumen soal selidik telah digunakan untuk menguji fungsi dan kebolehgunaan AC10 Appointment System. Seramai 20 orang pelajar dari program Kejuruteraan Perisian telah dipilih sebagai respondent untuk kajian ini. Hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa sistem berasaskan web AC10 Appointment System diterima dengan baik dan berharap sistem ini dapat digunakan bagi memudahkan urusan membut temujanji di antara pensyarah dan pelajar.   Web-Based Interactive Appoinment System Abstract: This study produces a web-based system that aims to facilitate appointment planning for lecturers of the Department of Computer, Faculty of Arts, Computers and Creative Industry and students of Software Engineering program (AC10) known as AC10 Appointment System. The main purpose of the development of this system is to facilitate students to make appointments with lecturers in a more organized and organized while facilitating the affairs of lecturers to accept the promises that will be made by students. This system was developed using a prototype methodology. Questionnaire instruments were used to test the functionality and usability of the AC10 Appointment System. A total of 20 students from the Software Engineering program were selected as respondents for this study. The results of this study found that the web-based system AC10 Appointment System was well received and hoped that this system could be used to facilitate the appointment of lecturers and students

    Application of the Principle of Piercing the Corporate Veil in Resolving Corporate Responsibility Cases in Indonesia

    This research aims to explain the application of the Principle of Piercing The Corporate Veil in resolving corporate responsibility cases in Indonesia. The method used in this research is normative legal research, using a statutory approach. The results of the research explain that based on Article 3 paragraph (1) of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, it is stated that the shareholders of the company aren’t personally responsible for the agreements made on behalf of the company and aren’t responsible for the company's losses exceeding the shares they own. However, the doctrine in corporate law recognizes the existence of the Principle of Piercing the Corporate Veil which can break through the limited liability of the company's shareholders into unlimited liability up to their personal assets. Although the Principle of Piercing the Corporate Veil has been regulated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, there have been major cases in which the shareholders of the company were responsible up to their personal assets but only limited responsibility for the shares they owned. These major cases include the PT Lapindo Brantas case in 2006 and the PT Bank Century case in 2008

    The Damage Control of Liquid Waste Pumping Machines in Palm Oil Companies

    X is a company that works in the field of oil palm plantations and has a palm oil production capacity of 60 tons per hour. The products of palm oil that have been produced are Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO). The various kinds of waste produced by the company as a result of the palm oil industry process are liquid waste, palm kernels, fiber and seed shells. Liquid waste is used as organic fertilizer for oil palm plantations which will be sent through a liquid waste pump machine. Damage that occurs to the liquid waste pump machine will inhibit the delivery of liquid waste to the plantation, thus affecting the yield of palm oil from the plantation itself. This study describes the application of repair and preventive maintenance policies for liquid waste pump machines by looking at the frequency of damage to the liquid waste pump engine and predicting the delivery of liquid waste to the pump engine for the next period as well as providing solutions for handling damage that occurs in the liquid waste pump engine. From the results of calculations on data processing, the results of how to control the causes of damage that occur in the liquid waste pump machine can be overcome by using the Preventive Maintenance Method within a period of 1 month and maintenance of every component in the liquid waste pump machine within 1 cycle, namely 357.27 hours with a repair time of 5.82 hours. Controlling other causes of damage is to add a filter to the liquid waste pool so that stones, leaves and liquid waste husks do not hinder the suction pipe of the liquid waste pump machine
