Economic Value Added as a Dependence on the Corporate- and Market-life Cycle

Economic value added (EVA) is an indicator which is widely used as the main tool for financial analysis. There are two methods of calculating it. The original method which was made by Stern & Stewart is defined as the net operating profit after taxes minus the cost of capital. The second method which was developed and used by the “Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade” indicates that, the economic value added is the difference between return on equity and the alternate cost of equity that is composed of separate risk rewards, and this “spread” is consequently multiplied by the equity. Economic value added depends on many factors. Whereas some of them are controllable by the company, others are not. This article is focused on the relationship between economic value added and the corporate- vs. market life cycle. This is because, there is an assumption that conditions for developing EVA changes depending on the actual phase of corporate- and market life cycle. In this research, the model by Reiners (2004) is used to identify the phases of corporate- and market life cycle and the method provided by the “Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade” is used to calculate EVA. However, there is a consideration of the relativity of EVA in the form of “spread” because of the intercompany comparison. The study found that, the highest spread is achieved by companies that are in the phase of expansion and phase of market expansion. On the contrary, companies in the phase of declension during market declension achieved the lowest and negative spread

– Construction of large power plants for use of renewable energy sources in Czech Republic

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zpracování rešerše o možnostech výstavby velkých obnovitelných zdrojů energie v ČR. Zejména fotovoltaických elektráren, větrných elektráren, vodních elektráren a elektráren a tepláren na biomasu a zhodnocení vlivu obnovitelných zdrojů energie na stabilitu přenosové soustavy. Je zde dále pojednáváno o problematice spojené s dlouhodobou energetickou koncepcí České republiky a Evropské unie. Hlavní část práce se však zaměřuje na aktuální problematiku využití obnovitelných zdrojů a jejich potenciálního využití v podmínkách České republiky. Dále je práce zaměřena na vliv obnovitelných zdrojů na stabilitu přenosové soustavy a možnosti pro zvýšení její stabilizace.The main goal of this thesis is researching possibilities of implementation of large renewable power sources in the Czech Republic. In concentrates especially on photovoltaic power plants, wind power plants, water power plants, and heating plants and power plants using biomass and assessment of the impact of renewable power sources on the stability of transmission systems. Among others it deals with long-term conception of power industry in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Nevertheless, the main part of the thesis focuses on an actual issue of exploatation of renewable sources under specific conditions of the Czech Republic. The problematic of the influence of renewable power sources on the stability of transmission grids and possibilities of strengthening that stability is reflected too.

Use of Grant Support for Brownfield Reconstruction in the Moravian–Silesian Cohesion Region on the Case Project

Přístupy k jejich problematice jsou značně rozdílné, přesto brownfieldy tvoří nedílnou součást rozvoje obcí, měst a regionů. Diplomová práce se zabývá projektovým řízením a metodikou tvorby projektů z Evropských strukturálních a investičních fondů v programovém období 2014–2020. Cílem práce je podat ucelený obraz o problematice brownfieldů v České republice a zpracovat projektovou žádost o podporu na příkladu konkrétního projektu dle příslušných podmínek dotačního titulu na území regionu soudržnosti Moravskoslezsko. Realizace podnikatelských záměrů prostřednictvím konkrétních projektových žádostí o dotaci představuje pro podnikatele velmi dostupnou variantu, která v případě úspěšného schválení vede k dalšímu rozvoji podnikatelských aktivit.Nowadays brownfields are recognised as a long and evolving phenomenon around the world. Impact of Coronavirus Pandemic in Accounting on Business Entities

Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku Covid pandemie a Covid programů, které měly podpořit podnikatelské subjekty v této nelehké době. Cílem bylo vyhodnotit a analyzovat dopady pandemie na jednotlivé obory podnikání a využitelnost vybraných Covid programů. Analýza byla provedena pomocí dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 67 podnikatelů, fyzických osob. Výsledky ukazují, že převážná většina podnikatelů využila alespoň jeden z Covid programů. Některé pro ně byly více užitečné a některé zase méně. Dle výsledků pak měla pandemie na většinu oblastí podnikání negativní dopady. Avšak některé naopak dostaly příležitost se rozvíjet. Covid pandemie zasáhla nečekaně celý svět, a tak na její důsledky nebyl nikdo připraven. Jednou z nejvíce zasažených oblastí byla ekonomika státu. Za celou dobu pandemie bylo zavedeno dost opatření, které měly, jak minimalizovat její dopady právě na ekonomiku, tak zmírnit šíření nemoci. Nicméně existují určitě oblasti, ze kterých by se dalo poučit a při další podobné situaci je vyřešit jinak.This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of the Covid pandemic and the Covid programs that were supposed to support business entities in this difficult time. The goal was to evaluate and analyse the impact of the pandemic on different business sectors and the usability of selected Covid programs. The analysis was carried out by means of a questionnaire survey in which 67 entrepreneurs, natural persons, participated. The results show that the vast majority of entrepreneurs have used at least one of the Covid programs. Some were more useful to them and some less so. According to the results, the pandemic had a negative impact on most areas of business. However, some were given the opportunity to develop. The Covid pandemic hit the whole world unexpectedly, so no one was prepared for its consequences. One of the most affected areas was the economy of the state. Throughout the pandemic, there were many measures in place to both minimize its impact on the economy and to mitigate the spread of the disease. Business Support in the Czech Republic from the European Union Funds

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na podporu podnikání v České republice z fondů Evropské unie. Podpoře podnikání věnuje Evropská unie značnou pozornost. Podniky vytvářejí pracovní místa, která jsou v řadě regionů nositelem zaměstnanosti, inovací a ekonomického růstu. Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě analýzy a komparace operačních programů zaměřených na podporu podnikání z fondů Evropské unie, podat ucelený pohled na vývoj čerpání finančních prostředků v České republice. Hodnocení nastavení podmínek pro čerpání podpory z operačních programů je vyhodnoceno podle míry vyčerpání finančních prostředků z celkové alokace na operační program v rámci všech programových období, kterých se Česká republika zúčastnila od svého vstupu do Evropské unie. The evaluation of the setting of conditions for drawing support from operational programs is evaluated according to the degree of exhaustion of funds from the total allocation for the operational program within all programming periods in which the Czech Republic has participated since its accession to the European Union. Import 12/11/2008Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na systém podpory exportu v České republice uskutečňovaný na dvou úrovních, a to na státní a nestátní. Cílem bakalářské práce je také analyzovat význam podpory exportu pro zahraniční obchod České republiky. V první kapitole jsou popsány jednotlivé instituce fungující v rámci státní a nestátní podpory exportu. Podpora exportu je v České republice důležitá a jejím cílem je zlepšit zahraniční obchod České republiky. Vývoj zahraničního obchodu je analyzován ve druhé kapitole bakalářské práce. Pro lepší koordinaci podpory exportu byla Ministerstvem průmyslu a obchodu České republiky vypracována Exportní strategie České republiky pro období 2006 – 2010. Jednotlivými projekty Exportní strategie se zabývá třetí kapitola bakalářské práce. Preparation of Project For Small Entrepreneur Financed From European Funds

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou financování projektů z fondů Evropské unie, předfinancováním či spolufinancováním projektů z bankovních produktů a zpracovává také příklad postupu při žádání o dotaci z fondů EU. Úvodní část je věnovaná teoretickým informacím, které se týkají fondů Evropské unie. Hlavní textová část práce popisuje a analyzuje jednotlivé možnosti financování projektů ze zdrojů EU.Dále se také zabývá bankovními produkty na trhu , které lze využít pro spolufinancování projektů. V závěrečné části práce se snažím o vytvoření přehledného a praktického průvodce podnikatele fondy EU.My graduation theses is analyzing questions of project funding from EU financial resources, cofinancing projects form commercial banks products and is also dealing with process of applying of financial resources from EU funds. First part is dealing with theoretical informations connected to EU funds. Main part is describing and analyzing single possibilities of financing projects form EU funds. This part is describing commercial banks products, which can be used to cofinancing of projects as well. In final part am trying to create transparent and practical guide book for entrepreneur through EU funds.
