Motivation is recognized as a set of beliefs that drive and sustain behaviour and is an important precursor to learning and success in school (Kiefer, Alley, and Ellerbrock (2015). Motivation in learning has consistently been linked to reduced dropout and increased level of student success. The term motivation is often used to describe what gets people going, keeps them going, and helps them finish tasks (Pintrich, 2003b). This paper's principal statement refers to the factors that might influence student's academic motivation. Teachers play a vital role in supporting young adolescents' academic motivation. This paper provides an overview of factors that influence and effect student's academic motivation. The research methodology is based on a review of relevant literature search strategy through ERIC, online databases and journals such as Science Direct, Research in Middle Level Education Online, Springer Link, Taylor and Francis online, Indian journal of health and Journal of Psychology Education. The keywords used in the search included motivation, academic motivation, learning motivation, teacher support in motivation, motivational strategies, achievement motivation, motivation in primary school, motivation in secondary school and motivation in higher education, factors impact on motivation. The results of this meta-analysis show that a quantitative approach is largely the method used to analyse factor effectiveness for student's academic motivation. Findings from this review will lead teachers to investigate further on how to effectively implement improvements that influence motivation skills among students. © Serials Publications

The study aimed to identify the impact of practicing an hour of coding on motivation and attitude towards learning programming among female students in middle and high schools in Riyadh. The study population consisted of female students in middle and high school in Riyadh, where a sample of (101) students was randomly selected. Structural equation modeling through (Smart PLS) was used to analyze the research data. The results of the study showed that the hour of coding program has great importance from the perspective of the students in terms of developing their programming skills in general. The results also showed that the program greatly contributed to forming positive attitudes toward learning programming and increased their motivation towards learning programming. In addition, the findings of the study showed that the variable of students attitudes towards learning programming has significantly mediated the relationship between the two variables, the hour of programming and students motivation towards learning

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI)Shelby County has the fastest growing rate of HIV infection in the State of Tennessee and the majority of the people with HIV/AIDS are African Americans. 2011 CDC report stated Memphis had the fifth highest proportion of new HIV infections. The African American church is a natural and potentially powerful venue to facilitate health awareness. The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore the views of African American faith-based leaders (FBLs) toward offering HIV prevention services in faith-based organizations (FBOs). The theoretical framework for this study was the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). The fourth domain of CFIR, characteristics of the individuals, is concerned with organizational change which occurs on the individual level. CFIR provided a means to ensure effective implementations, data coding and analysis. Interpretative Descriptive (ID) design, which seeks to discover associations, relationships, and patterns within the described phenomenon, was used. The targeted population was African American Faith-based Leaders from areas known to have high rates of HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Purposeful sampling was employed to recruit participants. Data was generated through face-to-face, semi-structured interviews. The researchers categorized and analyzed the data to form the concepts and themes identified using a coding scheme which was applied to all data. Faith-based leaders revealed that they had a role in HIV prevention. The themes that emerged were their role to provide education on HIV, minister with compassion, teach Biblical doctrine, maintain a community focus, and partner with expert healthcare professionals. Perceived barrier concepts identified were lack of knowledge, denial, stigma, fear, keeping issues private, and the breakdown of family and community values. Findings suggest that FBLs had some knowledge of the health disparities and ongoing stigma concerning HIV remains a major barrier. The participants interviewed were open to HIV preventions on different levels to address HIV but needed more education

ABSTRACTThe computer area is elementary to many knowledge areas. In thisway, the computational thinking was included in Common BaseNational Curriculum to teach the children since the elementaryschool. The Computational Thinking (CT) is associate to developmentof habilities that involves abstraction capabilities of a context, allow to express to a generic solution, it supports the analysis andevaluation of a solution proposed. With the CT in the schools it iselementary that the teacher understand the basic concepts aboutprogramming to teach the students and manage to correct and evaluatethe exercices developed by them. In this context, many toolswere developed to support the teachers in the evaluate exercicesprocess. In this way, this paper presents a tool to set right the exercicesas a automated way. The purpose of this paper is identify theimpact caused by tool in relation to the manual evaluation process, besides validate its applicability in a classroom
