Aplicacion movil bajo la plataforma Android para pre-matricylas de estudiantes de Oxford Internacional School, en el año 2014

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo fundamental el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil en Android para realizar inscripción de cursos técnicos, que ayuda a mantener los datos de los alumnos en orden al momento en que se realice la matricula oficial para estudiantes que llevaran un curso técnico en Oxford international School. El estudio se enmarco bajo la modalidad de proyecto factible sustentado por una investigación de campo de carácter aplicativo. La población que conforma el estudio estuvo constituida por todas las escuelas del municipio de Managua, y la muestra por el tercer año A del colegio Miguel de Cervantes del municipio de Managua. La necesidad fue presentada por el director del centro Oxford a quien junto con el comité Administrativo de dicho centro se aplicó el instrumento de la encuesta, las respuestas evidencian la necesidad de implementar la App que contribuya a mejorar el proceso de pre matricula y asegurar los datos al momento de atricularse .El diseño de la aplicación móvil se centró en la captura de los datos en el momento de realizar la pre matricula

SIMAT Sistema de Intensión de Matricula

SIMAT (Sistema de Intención de Matricula) es un proyecto web para la Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar cuyo propósito es darle la posibilidad a estudiantes activos de dicha universidad a elegir las materias que quieren cursar en su próximo semestre como intención de matricula. El aspecto innovador del sistema y un beneficio para los estudiantes es la sugerencia de matricula, la cual le ayuda al estudiante a elegir sus materias de la mejor manera para que no tenga una matricula muy cargada y termine a tiempo la carrera. El beneficio que le puede dar este proyecto a la universidad son la recopilación de datos y las estadísticas que se pueden sacar de la intención de matricula para tomar decisiones importantes a futuro respecto a las carreras por lo que podría tener un gran impacto a nivel organizacional. Este proyecto ha sido desarrollado por David Leonardo Puerta Jaramillo y Luis Carlos Guzmán Almanza, estudiantes de último año de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar como trabajo final de grado el cual hace parte del Minor de Aplicaciones en .NET

Profile of female students of engineering universities in Mexico and Spain

Gender studies in higher education have emerged in parallel to reflections and rising feminist movement. The main objectives of academic feminism are related to women's visibility improvement as well as soft skills developers’ roles. But a gap in TECH studies can be detected. Women studies in higher education are mostly related to life and social sciences, behavioral, journalism and information, business and management and law, in contrast to engineering, architecture, manufacturing, construction, ICT or any kind of TECH studies. Thus, the main objective of this work is related to survey design in order to develop a qualitative research to inquire about TECH higher education, female population profile, both at UdG-CUALTOS (Guadalajara, Mexico) and UPC (Barcelona, Spain).This profile can provide some influent identity elements, related to perceptions and expectations of women-TECH, deemed appropriate from their professions as engineers. UNITIME y el proceso de Matrícula Académica en una Universidad Privada del Perú

OBJETIVO: El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo establecer la relación que existe entre UNITIME y el Proceso de Matricula Académica en una Universidad Privada del Perú. MÉTODO: Se aplicó el método deductivo dado las características del estudio. Para medir las variables UNITIME y Proceso de Matricula Académica se aplicaron dos cuestionarios a una muestra de 82 estudiantes universitarios. RESULTADOS: En las pruebas realizadas a las variables, se determinó que el nivel de aprobación de UNITIME en el Proceso de Matrícula Académica es “Muy de acuerdo”. CONCLUSIONES: Se evidencia que existe una relación significativa entre UNITIME y el Proceso de Matricula Académica en una Universidad Privada del Perú. ST. ROKO’S (ROCCO) BROTHERHOOD AT SPLIT IS 540 YEARS OLD

The renewed matricula of St. Roko’s Brotherhood at Split from 1762 refers to the old matricula from 1451, unfortunately not preserved. The 1762 manuscript has been preserved both in the official language of the Republic of Venice and in the Croatian vernacular. Particular attention should be paid to the latter as it is a linguistic document of the Split’s Croatian linguistic milieu at the time of the Venetian government and the official Italian language. The author compares this matricula with the renewed St. Mihovil’s (Michael) brotherhood matricula in the City (Grad) written also in 1762 in both languages by the same scribes. Most of the rules in the books of regulations are identical or similar. They make it possible to study the origin of the variants in the Split books of regulations. Enclosed in the book of rules of St. Roko’s brotherhood from 1947, which is the only one of the Split brotherhoods issued in the post-war period when the brotherhoods as lay associations of citizens were not welcome

Strategies for banking the unbanked : how bankers are overcoming entrance barriers

As consumer demographics continue to change, an increasing percentage of the U.S. population is represented by those of Hispanic origin.  For financial institutions, this change is significant because many Hispanic consumers lack formal banking relationships.  The are unbanked. This article discusses future population projections and how these changes are playing out in the Tenth District states.  The authors also describe survey results from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's survey of Hispanic consumers in Garden City, Kansas.  These survey results help explain why many Hispanic consumers are unbanked.  In addition, the article describes strategies used by Garden City bankers to overcome barriers that contribute to Hispanic consumers remaining unbanked.Unbanked ; Banks and banking
