A zenetanulás szocio-emocionális transzferhatásai tanulási zavarral küzdő diákok körében

A tanulási zavar, mint jellegzetes információfeldolgozási sajátosság, egy életen át tartó nehezítő tényezőként van jelen az érintetteknél. A kognitív működés atipikus jellege mellett negatívan befolyásol olyan pszichológiai erőforrásokat is mint a motiváció, én-hatékonyság és megküzdőképesség. Ezek a produktív életvezetés fontos komponensei, de az iskolai sikeresség releváns nem-kognitív összetevői is egyben. A zenetanulás általános populáción igazolt transzferhatásai olyan potenciálokat hordoznak magukban, amelyek az élet számos területén kifejtik hatásukat. Jelen feltáró vizsgálat célja, hogy kiderítse, a zenetanulás transzferhatásai szolgálhatnak-e alternatív megoldásként a tanulási zavarral küzdő diákok szocio-emocionális területeken tapasztalható nehézségeinek orvoslására. A fenti pszichológiai erőforrásokat kérdőíves módszerrel vizsgálva tanulási zavaros, tanulási zavarral küzdő zenei fejlesztésben részesülő és nem tanulási zavaros zenei fejlesztésben részesülő középiskolás diákok csoportján az eredményeink alátámasztják, hogy a zenei fejlesztés pozitív hatásai non-kognitív területeken is kimutathatók a tanulási zavaros serdülők körében. Mindezek az eredmények arra hívják fel a figyelmet, hogy a klasszikus terápiák hatásos kiegészítője lehet a hangszeren való zenélés

IFPI digital music report 2013: engine of a digital world

The global recorded music industry is on a path to recovery, fuelled by licensed digital music services and rapid expansion into new markets internationally. Recorded music is also helping drive a broader digital economy, according this report.Global recorded music industry revenues rose by an estimated 0.3 per cent to US$16.5 billion in 2012, the first year of industry growth since 1999. Digital revenues saw accelerating growth for the second year running, up 9 per cent, with most major digital revenue streams - downloads, subscription and advertising-supported - on the rise.The digital music business is globalising fast, as smartphones and new licensed services span new and emerging markets. In January 2011, the major international download and subscription services were present in 23 markets. Today, they are in more than 100.Licensed music services are demonstrably meeting consumers\u27 needs. New consumer research published today by Ipsos MediaCT, covering nine markets in four continents, shows that 62 per cent of internet users have used a licensed music service in the last six months. British singer-songwriter Adele achieved phenomenal success with 21, the first album to top the global albums chart for two consecutive years since IFPI began reporting global best sellers in 2001.Despite the optimism, key barriers to further growth remain - the biggest being unfair competition from unlicensed music services. Governments have a key role to play in addressing this problem. The key priority remains to secure effective cooperation from intermediaries including advertisers, ISPs and search engines, who have a major influence on levels of copyright infringement

A Consideration of Problems Involved in Instituting a Foreign Language Program in an Elementary School System

The purpose of this paper is to consider some of the most common problems which arise in establishing and carrying through a language program in the elementary school, and to enumerate the solutions to them as found by the various language experts and school systems. The following questions are considered: At what age in a child’s development is it most desirable to begin foreign language instruction? Does the acquisition of a second language interfere with the child’s progress in English? How can a foreign language program get started in a system? Who should receive foreign language training? Which language should be offered? What should be the length and frequency of the foreign language teaching period in each grade? Who will teach the language? How can foreign language teaching at this level be financed? What kind of outside and enrichment resources are available to use with the program? These questions will be considered and various solutions and opinions will be given. This paper is not meant to be a recommendation for the adoption of the program nor for the rejection of it. It is merely a consideration of the problems which may arise
