Robotics and automation does play a significant role in today’s world meeting future agricultural production needs. In the recent few years, a similar trend has begun to take place in agriculture, for example GPS- and vision-based monitoring and self-guided tractors and harvesters already being available commercially in markets. Most recently, farmers have already started to experiment with autonomous systems which automate operations such as thinning, and harvesting, pruning as well as mowing, spraying, and weed removal. This would be just the beginning of what a revolution will be in the way that agriculture is growing, tendering, and getting harvested. Our device would include android based application which would operate movement of device through Bluetooth module and operate excavating pistons which would dig hole and seeds would automatically fall into excavated hole. Agriculture is a backbone of Indian economy. As India to become a super power, the large development is required in the field of agriculture. Agriculture development will strengthen the Indian economy this will also take small rural areas into limelight and will reduce burden on metros. This project will suggest best irrigation & nutrition management system to the farm and can be remotely operated or controlled by using SMS control. This will provide ideal irrigation conditions by sensing moisture in soil . This helps in preventing drought conditions and water logging also maintains productivity of a soil

Agriculture is one of the dominant fields that shape the socioeconomic development of any country. Technological advancements and innovations served as tools to share knowledge and practices of agricultural activities and make better lives for farmers, traders, policy makers, and the overall society. It is evident that Knowledge has become a very important factor in production, food security, education, poverty alleviation, and other millennium development goals. This paper, points out the a gap on how the existing body of knowledge about e-agriculture is built in terms of research policies, theorization, methodological tools, success/failure, and future trends. Aiming to fill this gap, our paper offers a systematic review of the e-agriculture literature based on Heeks (2006) that help understanding the linkages between the needs assessment, adoption of ICT in agricultural value chains, outreach/limitations of ICT in agricultural, diffusion of e-agricultural applications, and the impact of these technological innovations on the society

The purpose of mobile applications, designed to run on mobile devices such as smart phones, implies their availability to users while on the move, so that they are increasingly used in many areas of human activities. The aim of the study was development of mobile applications for quickly and easily calculation of the required quantity of seed for sowing of field and forage crops. Mobile application allows end users to enter the required input data about the quality of the seed and the field conditions. After that users immediately and efficiently get result which represens the calculated the optimal seed amount for sowing. This mobile application was set on the assumption that its integration into a wider information system is possible, so further research could take place in order to realize service support over the Internet and Cloud system that would provide to users other professional information.

The INTERACT Conferences are an important platform for researchers and practitioners in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI) to showcase their work. They are organised biennially by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Committee on Human–Computer Interaction (IFIP TC13), an international committee of 30 member national societies and nine Working Groups. INTERACT is truly international in its spirit and has attracted researchers from several countries and cultures. With an emphasis on inclusiveness, it works to lower the barriers that prevent people in developing countries from participating in conferences. As a multidisciplinary field, HCI requires interaction and discussion among diverse people with different interests and backgrounds. The 17th IFIP TC13 International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (INTERACT 2019) took place during 2-6 September 2019 in Paphos, Cyprus. The conference was held at the Coral Beach Hotel Resort, and was co-sponsored by the Cyprus University of Technology and Tallinn University, in cooperation with ACM and ACM SIGCHI. This volume contains the Adjunct Proceedings to the 17th INTERACT Conference, comprising a series of selected papers from workshops, the Student Design Consortium and the Doctoral Consortium. The volume follows the INTERACT conference tradition of submitting adjunct papers after the main publication deadline, to be published by a University Press with a connection to the conference itself. In this case, both the Adjunct Proceedings Chair of the conference, Dr Usashi Chatterjee, and the lead Editor of this volume, Dr Fernando Loizides, work at Cardiff University which is the home of Cardiff University Press
