    Internal media of internal communication media within an organization or company. Internal media published for purposes of internal organization, especially public organizations. The goal for the internal public are informed about policies and activities implemented company. So the vision and mission can be conveyed best through internal media. Thus, internal media publishing is a communication activities to meet the interests of the two parties, organizations or corporate interests and the interests of public internal. The title of the internal media Fisip Undip is "FIScomm" which stands for Community Fisip which could have a meaning that is, a container or means consisting of a large family Fisip Undip that serves as a medium aspiration, input, opinions, information, entertainment, and certainly also related policies Fisip Undip, as well as information that is instructive and informative, fresh and up to date. Internal media FIScomm is an internal media published every three months. Powered by a design that is not monotonous, colourfull, design and artwork, namely the combination of the abstract artwork and photo illustration. The content of our magazine is 40% under the theme of the organization, 20% and 40% non-organization of entertainment. The content of our magazine are: Cover, non-commercial advertising, editorial notes, content (content), image branding, technology, education, reviews, top news, inspiring, information, culinary, fashion, inboxmail, articles, travel. In making the internal medium, the writer served as editor as well as reporters. An editor assigned to conduct the process of editing (editing), an opinion editorial, proposing and writing news / photos to be loaded, giving direction to all the editorial team of the news that will be loaded on every issue, directing and fostering reporter in search of news and catch up news sources , determine the appropriateness of a news, photos, and design for a publishing house, planning the content for each issue, develop, nurture, build a lobby with news sources. While the task is to find a reporter and news sources are assigned to interview the editor, write the interview. Internal media FIScomm still far from perfection, so we desperately need the criticism and constructive suggestions from readers

    PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is a State Owned Enterprises (SOE) engaged in public transport. Until now, the use of the print media internal is still maintained by PT KAI as an internal communication media to tell the information about the company. The print media internal is called ‘Tabloid Kontak’. Tabloid Kontak is an acronym for communication between employees, which is estabilished since 1973 . The purpose of this research is to know the influence of personal motives on the usage of internal media towards the employees’ information needs of PT KAI with the use of internal media tabloid Kontak as an intervening variable. This research used some relevant theories such as communications, uses and gratification, public relations and information needs. The variables in this study are related and included the model of Uses and Gratification. Method of this research used is quantitative method and inferential analysis with associative approach. Respondents of the study involved 173 employees of head Office PT KAI, with the technique sampling used is propability sampling. Analysis data in this research was using path analysis. The results of this research indicate that personal motives affect the information needs of yhe employees (58,36%), personal motives affect the use of internal media tabloid Kontak (10,62%), the use of internal media tablod Kontak affect the information needs of the employees (28,11%) and personal motives affect the information needs of the employees through the use of internal media tabloid Kontak as an intervening variable (68,9%) and indirectly (17,3%)

    Influence of Using Packing Materials on the UASB Performance

    A lot of researchers studied the main factors affecting the performance of using the Up flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) reactors for domestic wastewater treatment. The previous researches and experiments to investigate some parameters which affecting the treatment process using UASB reactors such as Hydraulic retention time, sludge blanket thickness, mode of operation (Continues and feed – feed less), feed less period and internal media inside the reactor.This paper investigate the influence of using pieces of sponge used as an internal media (packing materials) on the UASB performance in treating the municipal wastewater. The main purpose of using the internal media inside the reactor is to allocate large surface area for bacterial community growth.A pilot scale setup was designed and constructed at Zenien wastewater treatment plant (Zenien WWTP) in Giza Governorate, Egypt. It was operated under ambient environmental conditions.The experimental works shows increment at the UASB performance of the main parameters COD, BOD, TSS and VSS.     Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh penggunaan media internal portal PT Dirgantara Indonesia terhadap citra perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media internal portal PT Dirgantara Indonesia terhadap citra perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa teori yang relevan seperti komunikasi, public relation, penggunaan media, dan citra perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Dirgantara Indonesia dengan responden sebanyak 160 orang karyawan. Dalam menentukan sampel, digunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan purpossive sampling. Sementara itu, metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji hipotesis parsial, regresi sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media internal portal PT Dirgantara Indonesia memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap citra perusahaan dengan persentase sebesar 70,6%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi penggunaan media internal portal PT Dirgantara Indonesia, semakin tinggi dan positif pandangan karyawan terhadap citra perusahaan dalam persepsi mereka.Kata Kunci: media internal, public relation, citra perusahaanThis research discusses the influence of the use of internal media Portal of PT Dirgantara Indonesia to the corporate's image. The purpose of this research is to find the influence of the use of internal media Portal PT Dirgantara Indonesia to the corporate's image. This research used descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is the employees of PT Dirgantara Indonesia with 160 respondents. The nonprobability sampling method by purpossive sampling had been used to determine the samples' number of this research. The analysis method used was descriptive analysis, partial hypotheses test, coefficient correlations, simple regression and coefficient determination. The results of this research reveals that the use of internal media Portal PT Dirgantara Indonesia has a significant influence on the image of the corporate with a percentage of 70,6%, while the rest of 29,4 % is influenced by factors other than the variables use in this research .Keywords: internal media, public relation, corporate imag

    Internal media was a media to provide interpersonal informations and to top down some policy of the institution. The institution using internal media as a means of communication for interdivisional and interpersonal so that they will reach the information concerning on and new policy which is issued by its institution. Research on Rindang Magazine management have a basis on the concept of internal media of Ashadi Siregar dan Rondang Pasaribu ( 2000 ) within 4 component of internal media management which is editorship/editorial, media production and circulation, finance and means, personal component. The goal of this research was to know how is the process of media managing to provide public information for the employee at Religious Affair Ministry of Central Java. The research using descriptive methods which is descripting certain facts,or any characteristic of any objects sistematicly, factually and accurately. ( Kriyantono, 2006:69 ). The process of data collecting by depth interviewing with certain informant such as head of editorial, graphic, news report, circulation-distribution and readers/public Research summary shows that Rindang magazine implementing those concept of internal media which is, first process, editorial meetings which have agenda to evaluate the past publishing and to plan the next publishing. The second process, news report and data collects, where a news reporter coveraging around the internal or external environment of institution and excerpting information sent by public on the internet or articles. Third process, editing, lay-outting and designing. Editing was a process to complete or finish the spelling on articles, literary style, punctuation mark, data completing, the effectiveness of sentences. Designing is a process to make art pattern of an articles such as font n its size. Lay outting was the process to arrange the lay out and visual art of magazine performance. Fourth process, producing, it`s a process where the magazine have been edited and then it simply sent to printing section. Before the final printing, the temporary print out of magazine was being re-checked by head of editorial to know some errors to be corrected. Final process, distribution of Rindang magazines starting from Region Office of Religious Affair Ministry of Central Java to The District Office of its ministry in Central Java, related institution, MAN-MTsN all over Province of Central Java. The often obstacle was in the data searching and collecting, editing process. The lack of news reporter totality on working caused by bustly office activity. Sometimes, one reporter entrustes the coveraging job to another reporter. The obstacle on editing process caused by the rareness of the editing personal makes its process can`t run optimally and effectively. This condition effects on quality of magazine. Meanwhile, the lack of paper quality for the magazine draws out the public uninterest on it. Those problems simply lead to public hesitation on Rindang magazines personal brainworks and its quality

    Intranet is an internal media owned by PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai based online. Within the Intranet there is information and news about the company\u27s policies and activities which in the process are carried out by Communications and Relations Section, Team Media Support exactly. News published is the result of coverage by Team Media Support. Thus this study aims to find out how Implementation of Jurnalistic Values in News Writing at Intranet as Internal Media PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai.This research uses descriptive method qualitative, data collecting technique using observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The informants were chosen by purposive sampling by selecting informants based on certain characteristics, the informant consisted of Head of Communication and Relations, Junior Officer Communication and Relations, Personnel of Team Media Support, and three employees as news reading on Intranet. Data analysis technique using data analysis by Miles and Huberman models.The results of this study show that : 1). Team Media Support has implemented reports/ direct observations in the coverage, but not all coverage is accompanied by interviews and there is also no literature research. 2). For news writing, Team Media Support has not fully understood how to writing a news with news values. 3). For news editing techniques that have been done by the right people and competent, but the efficiency time of editing is still not right because only the Head of Communications and Relationship can does, so that there are some news that has been written can not be published on the same day. 4). The main constraining factor in the implementation is the lack of competent human resources in the field of journalism, while the supporting factor is the Intranet has played an appropriate role as the company\u27s internal media, because with the Intranet dissemination of information more effective and environmentally friendly

    KONTAK magazine is the corporate internal media of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) that has function to spread information about company to its employees. In the publication of this internal media, some employees of PT PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang are not interested in reading KONTAK magazine. Therefore, it is necessary to know the perception of employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang about the quality of the KONTAK magazine as corporate internal media. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with data collection tools in the form of questionnaire. The technique used in this research is nonprobability sampling with selected samples using convenience sampling. This research measured by two indicators, they are employee’s perception about the design of internal media and employess’s perception about the content of internal media. Based on the results of this research, show that the design of internal media is perceived well by the employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang, which means the design of internal media has attractive and legibility value. While, the employee’s perception about the information content of the KONTAK magazine as corporate internal media considered well enough by the employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang as the reader of internal media. Which means, the publication of the KONTAK magazine is worth to spread the informative, educative, and entertaining information to the employees. Based on the conclusion of the research, although the KONTAK magazine has a good design and good content for the employees to red, but in fact the employees have less interest to read the KONTAK magazine

    Pengaruh Media Internal IntraPAS terhadap Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi Karyawan PT. Pelita Air Service (Survey pada Kantor Pusat PT. Pelita Air Service, Jakarta)

    The aimed of this research is to find out how much the influence of internal media of IntraPAS towards the information needs of the employees of PT. Pelita Air Service. The independent variables studied are internal media (IntraPAS as an online media), while the dependent variables are information needs. This research use quantitative research method and this type of research focus on the reveal of causal relation between the variable. Data analyze technique on this research used linier regular regression analyze technique. The populations in this study were all employees of the head office of PT. Pelita Air Service, located in Jakarta. Engineering samples are probability sampling technique used was simple random sampling approach with a sample size of 175 respondents. Based on the analysis using simple linear regression analysis techniques derived value of b = 0.602, where this value is positive. This means that there are positive effects of internal media with the information needs. In the hypothesis test value (15.755) is greater than (1.973), so it can be concluded that there were significant effects of media internal and information needs. The result of correlation analysis = 0.768 (0.60 ? r ? 0.79). This means there is a strong positive relationship between internal media with information needs. The higher of internal media, the higher of information needs. The conclusion of this study stated that there is significant influence between internal media with information needs.
