When watching pictures or videos, the Human Visual System has the potential to concentrate on important locations. Saliency detection is a tool for detecting the abnormality and randomness of images or videos by replicating the human visual system. Video saliency detection has received a lot of attention in recent decades, but due to challenging temporal abstraction and fusion for spatial saliency, computational modelling of spatial perception for video sequences is still limited.Unlike methods for detection of salient objects in still images, one of the most difficult aspects of video saliency detection is figuring out how to isolate and integrate spatial and temporal features.Saliency detection, which is basically a tool to recognize areas in images and videos that catch the attention of the human visual system, may benefit multimedia applications such as video or image retrieval, copy detection, and so on. As the two crucial steps in trajectory-based video classification methods are feature point identification and local feature extraction. We suggest a new spatio-temporal saliency detection using an enhanced 3D Conventional neural network with an inclusion of histogram for optical and orient gradient in this paper

This article focuses on implementing wireless sensors for monitoring exact distance between two individuals and to check whether everybody have sanitized their hands for stopping the spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID). The idea behind this method is executed by implementing an objective function which focuses on maximizing distance, energy of nodes and minimizing the cost of implementation. Also, the proposed model is integrated with a variance detector which is denoted as Controlled Incongruity Algorithm (CIA). This variance detector is will sense the value and it will report to an online monitoring system named Things speak and for visualizing the sensed values it will be simulated using MATLAB. Even loss which is produced by sensors is found to be low when CIA is implemented. To validate the efficiency of proposed method it has been compared with prevailing methods and results prove that the better performance is obtained and the proposed method is improved by 76.8% than other outcomes observed from existing literatures

Higher Order Energies for Image Segmentation

A novel energy minimization method for general higher-order binary energy functions is proposed in this paper. We first relax a discrete higher-order function to a continuous one, and use the Taylor expansion to obtain an approximate lower-order function, which is optimized by the quadratic pseudo-boolean optimization (QPBO) or other discrete optimizers. The minimum solution of this lower-order function is then used as a new local point, where we expand the original higher-order energy function again. Our algorithm does not restrict to any specific form of the higher-order binary function or bring in extra auxiliary variables. For concreteness, we show an application of segmentation with the appearance entropy, which is efficiently solved by our method. Experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods
