Get PDF
In this paper, stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are investigated. By using Lyapunov function and the Ito differential formula, some sufficient conditions for the pth moment exponential stability of such stochastic fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are established. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility of our main theoretical findings. Finally, the paper ends with a brief conclusion. Methodology and achieved results is to be presented

Dynamical Behavior of Nonautonomous Stochastic Reaction-Diffusion Neural Network Models

Get PDF
This brief investigates nonautonomous stochastic reaction-diffusion neural-network models with S-type distributed delays. First, the existence and uniqueness of mild solution are studied under the Lipschitz condition without the linear growth condition. Due to the existence of a nonautonomous reaction-diffusion term and the infinite dimensional Wiener process, the criteria for the well-posedness of the models are established based on the evolution system theory. Then, the S-type distributed delay, which is an infinite delay, is handled by the truncation method, and sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability are obtained by constructing a simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidate. Finally, neural-network examples and an illustrative example are given to show the applications of the obtained results.</p

Get PDF
This paper is devoted to investigating mean square stability of a class of stochastic reactiondiffusion systems with Markovian switching and impulsive perturbations. Based on Lyapunov functions and stochastic analysis method, some new criteria are established. Moreover, a class of semilinear stochastic impulsive reaction-diffusion differential equations with Markovian switching is discussed and a numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the obtained results

Exponential synchronization for reaction-diffusion neural networks with mixed time-varying delays via periodically intermittent control

Get PDF
This paper deals with the exponential synchronization problem for reaction-diffusion neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and stochastic disturbance. By using stochastic analysis approaches and constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a periodically intermittent controller is first proposed to guarantee the exponential synchronization of reaction-diffusion neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and stochastic disturbance in terms of p-norm. The obtained synchronization results are easy to check and improve upon the existing ones. Particularly, the traditional assumptions on control width and time-varying delays are removed in this paper. This paper also presents two illustrative examples and uses simulated results of these examples to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme

Nonlinear Systems

Open Mathematics is a challenging notion for theoretical modeling, technical analysis, and numerical simulation in physics and mathematics, as well as in many other fields, as highly correlated nonlinear phenomena, evolving over a large range of time scales and length scales, control the underlying systems and processes in their spatiotemporal evolution. Indeed, available data, be they physical, biological, or financial, and technologically complex systems and stochastic systems, such as mechanical or electronic devices, can be managed from the same conceptual approach, both analytically and through computer simulation, using effective nonlinear dynamics methods. The aim of this Special Issue is to highlight papers that show the dynamics, control, optimization and applications of nonlinear systems. This has recently become an increasingly popular subject, with impressive growth concerning applications in engineering, economics, biology, and medicine, and can be considered a veritable contribution to the literature. Original papers relating to the objective presented above are especially welcome subjects. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Stability analysis of discrete and continuous dynamical systems; Nonlinear dynamics in biological complex systems; Stability and stabilization of stochastic systems; Mathematical models in statistics and probability; Synchronization of oscillators and chaotic systems; Optimization methods of complex systems; Reliability modeling and system optimization; Computation and control over networked systems

LMI-Based Stability Criterion of Impulsive T-S Fuzzy Dynamic Equations via Fixed Point Theory

Get PDF
By formulating a contraction mapping and the matrix exponential function, the authors apply linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique to investigate and obtain the LMI-based stability criterion of a class of time-delay Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy differential equations. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time to obtain the LMI-based stability criterion derived by a fixed point theory. It is worth mentioning that LMI methods have high efficiency and other advantages in largescale engineering calculations. And the feasibility of LMI-based stability criterion can efficiently be computed and confirmed by computer Matlab LMI toolbox. At the end of this paper, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods

Stochastic Dynamics of Nonautonomous Cohen-Grossberg Neural Networks

Get PDF
This paper is devoted to the study of the stochastic stability of a class of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks, in which the interconnections and delays are time-varying. With the help of Lyapunov function, Burkholder-Davids-Gundy inequality, and Borel-Cantell's theory, a set of novel sufficient conditions on pth moment exponential stability and almost sure exponential stability for the trivial solution of the system is derived. Compared with the previous published results, our method does not resort to the Razumikhin-type theorem and the semimartingale convergence theorem. Results of the development as presented in this paper are more general than those reported in some previously published papers. An illustrative example is also given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results
