Comparison of the CERN-MEMPHYS and T2HK neutrino oscillation experiments
In this talk I compare the physics potential of possible future neutrino
oscillation experiments from CERN to a Mt scale water Cerenkov detector at
Frejus (MEMPHYS) and of the T2HK proposal in Japan, where for the CERN
experiments an SPL Superbeam and a Beta Beam are considered.Comment: Talk given at NOW 2006, 9-16 Sep 2006, Conca Specchiulla, Otranto,

FlexibleSUSY -- A spectrum generator generator for supersymmetric models
We introduce FlexibleSUSY, a Mathematica and C++ package, which generates a
fast, precise C++ spectrum generator for any SUSY model specified by the user.
The generated code is designed with both speed and modularity in mind, making
it easy to adapt and extend with new features. The model is specified by
supplying the superpotential, gauge structure and particle content in a SARAH
model file; specific boundary conditions e.g. at the GUT, weak or intermediate
scales are defined in a separate FlexibleSUSY model file. From these model
files, FlexibleSUSY generates C++ code for self-energies, tadpole corrections,
renormalization group equations (RGEs) and electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB)
conditions and combines them with numerical routines for solving the RGEs and
EWSB conditions simultaneously. The resulting spectrum generator is then able
to solve for the spectrum of the model, including loop-corrected pole masses,
consistent with user specified boundary conditions. The modular structure of
the generated code allows for individual components to be replaced with an
alternative if available. FlexibleSUSY has been carefully designed to grow as
alternative solvers and calculators are added. Predefined models include the
MSSM, NMSSM, ESSM, USSM, R-symmetric models and models with right-handed
neutrinos.Comment: 56 pages, 3 figures, 3 tables; v3: correcting typos, matches version

Piezoelectrostatic generator
A piezoelectrostatic generator includes a plurality of elongated piezoelectric elements having first and second ends, with the first ends fixedly mounted in a cylindrical housing and the second extending radially inwardly toward an axis. A shaft movable along the axis is connected to the inner ends of the elements to produce bending forces in piezoelectric strips within the elements. Each element includes a pair of strips mounted in surface contact and in electrical series to produce a potential upon bending. Electrodes spaced from the strips by a solid dielectric material act as capacitor plates to collect the potential charge
Smoke generator
Generator is simple in construction, efficient, and extremely easy to start and regulate. It can be of such small size and weight that it can be installed easily inside a model. Size can be changed to suit needs, as long as operating temperatures can be attained and identified controls are utilized
Smoke generator
A smoke generator is disclosed which is particularly suitable for mounting on the wing tips of an aircraft and for conducting airflow studies. The device includes a network of thermally insulated tubes for carrying a fluid which is used to produce smoke. The fluid, which need not be combustible, is heated above its vaporization temperature by electric current which is passed through the fluid conduit tubes, so that the tubes serve both as fluid conduits and resistance heating elements. Fluid supply and monitoring systems and electrical control systems are also disclosed
A Simple construction of the Pseudorandom Generator from Permutation
A simple construction of pseudorandom generator is appear. This pseudorandom
generator is always passed by NIST statistical test. This paper reports a
pseudorandom number generator which has good property is able to construct
using only permutation and data rewriting by XOR.Comment: in japanes
