2D non-LTE radiative modelling of He I spectral lines formed in solar prominences
The diagnosis of new high-resolution spectropolarimetric observations of
solar prominences made in the visible and near-infrared mainly, requires a
radiative modelling taking into account for both multi-dimensional geometry and
complex atomic models. Hereafter we contribute to the improvement of the
diagnosis based on the observation of He I multiplets, by considering 2D
non-LTE unpolarized radiation transfer, and taking also into account the atomic
fine structure of helium. It is an improvement and a direct application of the
multi-grid Gauss-Seidel/SOR iterative scheme in 2D cartesian geometry developed
by us. It allows us to compute realistic emergent intensity profiles for the He
I 10830 A and D3 multiplets, which can be directly compared to the simultaneous
and high-resolution observations made at THeMIS. A preliminary 2D multi-thread

Semantics for incident identification and resolution reports
In order to achieve a safe and systematic treatment of security protocols, organizations release a number of technical
briefings describing how to detect and manage security incidents. A critical issue is that this document set may suffer from
semantic deficiencies, mainly due to ambiguity or different granularity levels of description and analysis. An approach to
face this problem is the use of semantic methodologies in order to provide better Knowledge Externalization from incident
protocols management. In this article, we propose a method based on semantic techniques for both, analyzing and specifying
(meta)security requirements on protocols used for solving security incidents. This would allow specialist getting better

Practitioner requirements for integrated Knowledge-Based Engineering in Product Lifecycle Management.
The effective management of knowledge as capital is considered essential to the
success of engineering product/service systems. As Knowledge Management (KM) and
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) practice gain industrial adoption, the
question of functional overlaps between both the approaches becomes evident.
This article explores the interoperability between PLM and Knowledge-Based
Engineering (KBE) as a strategy for engineering KM. The opinion of key KBE/PLM
practitioners are systematically captured and analysed. A set of ranked business
functionalities to be fulfiled by the KBE/PLM systems integration is elicited.
The article provides insights for the researchers and the practitioners playing
both the user and development roles on the future needs for knowledge systems
based on PLM
