    Psi imaju jedinstvenu vezu s ljudima, a naročito s djecom. Emocionalne su životinje koje imaju pozitivan utjecaj na djetinjstvo i cjelokupan razvoj djece. Pas je suosjećajan prijatelj, zabavljač, zaštitnik i učitelj djeci. Različitim istraživanjima zabilježeni su edukacijski i terapeutski učinci koji pridonose socio-emocionalnim, kognitivnim i moralnim kvalitetama svakog pojedinog djeteta. Psi kod djece razvijaju odgovornost, samopouzdanje, utječu na njihovo zdravlje te ih potiču na vježbanje i igru. Također umiruju djecu te im pomažu da se opuste.Dogs have a special bond with people, particularly with children. They are emotional animals that have positive impact on childhood and children's development in general. A dog is compassionate friend, entertainer, protector and teacher to children.     Tehnološki napredak donio je primjenu inovacija u obrazovanje. Novi medijski proizvodi i usluge već značajno mijenjaju način na koji vodimo naš radni i društveni život. Djeca su prirodno znatiželjni, samo motivirani učenici i ako im se ne pruže pravi alati u zanimljivom okruženju, djeca će stvoriti svoj vlastiti put do otkrića. Od presudne je važnosti dobro razmotriti kako tehnologija u nastajanju može utjecati i dalje se razvijati u učionici/sobi dnevnog boravka u vrtiću i šire te kako se može koristiti sadržaj, obrazovni softver i tehnologija kao alat za kreativno razmišljanje. Sustavi strojno čitljivih optičkih kodova posebno su popularni za takve primjene. "Digitalni mediji imaju potencijal za uspostavu nove mogućnosti za nova iskustva i usluge putem Interneta, u svako, domu i kompanijama širom svijeta."- rekao je Will Poole, potpresjednik Windows Digital Media odjeljenja pri kompaniji Microsoft. Elektronički tj. digitalni mediji prenose informacije u digitalnom obliku. Obrazovanje pomoću digitalnih medija je kvalitetnije u odnosu na klasične metode obrazovanja. Smatra se da je elektroničko obrazovno okruženje jedno od rješenja za obrazovni proces okrenut učeniku, istraživačko učenje, koje je visokokvalitetno, a informacije su dostupne na zahtjev preko interneta i ostalih multimedijskih izvora. Također postoji interakcija s obrazovnim djelatnicima i komunikacija podržana informacijsko-komunikacijskim tehnologijama što potiče na cjeloviti pristup, konstrukciju znanja, kvalitetu učenja, stalno učenje, suradnju, transdisciplinarnost, aktivnost, suradničko učenje, samostalno učenje i timski rad. Tehnološki napredak i moderna tehnologija omogućili su nastanak strojno čitljivih optičkih kodova. U ovom radu su pobliže opisani strojno čitljivi optički kodovi i njohov razvoj. It is of crucial importance to consider how emerging technologies can continue to influence the development of the classroom in kindergarten and wider, and how content, educational software, and technology can be used as a tool for creative thinking. Machines readable optical code systems are especially popular for such applications. "Digital media have the potential to create new opportunities for new experiences and services across the Internet, in every home, and across the globe," said Will Poole, president of Windows Digital Media, at Microsoft. Electronic or digital media transmit digital information. Digital media education is better than the classical methods of education.     U radu se polazi od povijesti pripitomljavanja životinja do njihovog suživota s ljudima u novijem dobu. Kućni su ljubimci postali ravnopravni članovi obitelji te gotovo svaka obitelj ima barem jednoga kućnoga ljubimca. Time su ljudi, odrasli i djeca, u svakodnevnoj interakciji s kućnim ljubimcima i životinjama općenito. Moj je rad usmjeren na djecu mlađe školske dobi i ulogu koju kućni ljubimci imaju u njihovom životu. Razmatra se pozitivno djelovanje suživota djece s kućnim ljubimcem.Cilj je istraživanja ispitati stavove djece mlađe školske dobi o kućnim ljubimcima. U skladu s time sam obavila intervju u kojemu će se vidjeti rezultati istraživanja.The thesis starts with the history of domestication of animals to their coexistence with humans in a new age. Pets become full members of the family and almost every family has at least one pet. Therefore people, adults and children, are in the everyday interaction with pets and animals in general. My thesis is aimed at younger school-aged children and the role that pets have in their life. I'm considering the positive effects of coexistence of children with a pet.The goal of this research is to examine the attitudes of younger school-aged children about pets.     U današnjem svijetu često se susrećemo s pojmom ovisnosti, bilo da je riječ o mlađoj ili starijoj populaciji. Iako pojam ovisnosti rijetko vežemo uz djecu mlađe školske dobi, sve više primjećujemo da današnja tehnologija, kao i brza prehrana, kod njih izaziva ovisnost već od malih nogu. Pretjerano gledanje TV-a, korištenje video igrica, mobilnih uređaja, računala i interneta te pojačani unos slatkiša, gaziranih sokova i grickalica jedni su od najčešćih uzročnika ovisnosti kod djece mlađe školske dobi. Upravo oni narušavaju njihovo psihološko i tjelesno zdravlje, a rezultiraju sve većom agresivnošću i pretilošću djece već od najranijeg djetinjstva. Koliko god osjećaj ugode i zadovoljstva daje poticaj i pridonosi smislu življenja, toliko izazivanje trenutne ugode može rezultirati dugotrajnim štetnim posljedicama kako kod odraslih, tako i kod djece. Svrha ovoga diplomskoga rada bila je ispitati jesu li različiti oblici ovisnosti zastupljeni kod učenika nižih razreda osnovne škole. U istraživanju su sudjelovale učiteljice osnovnih škola te učenici od prvog do četvrtog razreda Osnovne škole Antuna Kanižlića u Požegi.In today's world we often encounter the concept of addiction, whether it is among younger or older population. Although the notion of addiction is rarely associated with younger school children, we notice that today's technology, as well as fast nutrition, causes them to be addicted to since early childhood. Excessive television exposure, use of video games, mobile devices, computers and the internet, but also increased intake of sweets, carbonated juices and snacks are some of the most common factors that lead to addiction in early school-aged children. These factors affect children’s psychological and physical health and result in increased aggressiveness and obesity in children from the earliest childhood. Even though the feeling of comfort and pleasure gives encouragement and contributes to the meaning of life, inducing immediate pleasure can result in long-lasting harmful effects in adults as well as it can in children. The purpose of this graduate thesis was to examine whether different forms of addiction were represented in lower primary school pupils. The study was participated by elementary school teachers and students from the first to fourth grade of Primary School Antun Kanižlić in Požega

    U ovome radu može se vidjeti kronološko stvaranje i nastanak preddiplomskog sveučilišnog studija Kineziologije na Fakultetu za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti u Osijeku. Nakon prikupljanja brojnih izvora prikazan je razvoj kineziološke struke od 1893. do 2017. godine. Kreće se od samog osnivanja Učiteljske škole u Osijeku gdje je i započelo prvo školovanje učitelja. Zatim slijedi osnivanje Pedagoške akademije kod koje ćemo istaknuti studijsku grupu razredna nastava i fizička kultura. Nakon nekoliko godina postojanja Pedagoške akademije ona prerasta u Pedagoški fakultet. Školske godine 1998. Učiteljski studij preuzima Visoka učiteljska škola kroz nekoliko godina njezinog djelovanja nakon čega ona prerasta u Učiteljski fakultet. Učiteljski fakultet kroz svoje djelovanje i razvijanje mijenja naziv 2014. godine u Fakultet za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti. Potrebama zajednice, grada i županije te samim razvojem fakulteta došlo je do osnivanja nove studijske grupe, Preddiplomskog sveučilišnog studija Kineziologije.In this paper we can see the chronological creation and forming of the undergraduate university study of Kinesiology at the Faculty of Educational Sciences in Osijek. By collecting numerous sources this work will show the development of the kinesiology profession from 1893 to 2017. Starting from the establishment of the Teacher's School in Osijek, because that is where education of teachers first started. Next we follow the establishment of the Pedagogical Academy, where we will highlight the study group of classroom teaching and physical education. After several years of the existing, Pedagogical Academy changes name into Pedagogical Faculty. In the 1998 school year Teacher study is taken over by the High Teacher School through several years of its activity, to later develop into the Faculty of Teacher Education. The Faculty of Teacher Education through its activities and development changes its name in 2014 to the Faculty of Educational Sciences. The needs of community, town and county, and also the development of the faculty led to the establishment of a new study group, the Undergraduate University Study of Kinesiology

    APPLICABILITY AND QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF THE SET OF EQUIPMENT IN THE PROJECT “POLYGON FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY OF SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN“ IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS WITHOUT GYMNASIA

    In 2015, 120 main primary schools in Croatia did not have a school gymnasium, and could not carry through the full-time compulsory Physical Education (PE) class. To ensure regular physical exercise to all children and help teachers, the Croatian Institute of Public Health has implemented the project “Polygon for Physical Activity of School-Aged Children”. This paper aims to present the usability and functionality assessment of the multipurpose kinesiology equipment set used in the Project in the primary schools without gymnasia based on the teachers’ experience and appraisals in three independent assessment waves. Results show that after receiving the set the teachers perceived they had better conditions for teaching Physical Education class and managed to fulfil PE curriculum goals and tasks. Students’ motivation for physical education class also improved in some areas, as well as teachers’ satisfaction with the conditions for and school investments in PE class. Most of the teachers perceived that the multipurpose kinesiology equipment set had the potential to improve the quality of PE class and to be used in other classes as well. According to the obtained data it could be assumed that this multipurpose kinesiology equipment set is a positive innovation in the teaching process and presents a strong potential for alleviating the spatial and material problems teachers in schools without gymnasia are experiencing in their work

    Slikovnica je prva knjiga s kojom dijete ima doticaj i koja mu pomaže u otkrivanju svijeta. One su stvarane s određenim ciljem, a to je poticanje djetetova razvoja ili za njihovu zabavu. Slikovnica kao i svaka druga knjiga za djecu ima različite funkcije, koje odgovaraju potrebama djece rane i predškolske dobi. Te funkcije koriste djeci kako bi se razvili u svim aspektima bitnim za snalaženje u svijetu u kojem žive. Osnovne funkcije slikovnice su: informacijsko-odgojna, spoznajna, iskustvena, zabavna, estetska i govorno-jezična funkcija. Kako bi vrijednost slikovnice za dijete bila što veća važno je da ima dobre ilustracije te primjeren tekst. U radu su uz navedeno objašnjene fizičke značajke slikovnice te elementi dizajna koji utječu na estetiku. Za kvalitetan razvoj djeteta vrlo je bitno da mu se još u prenatalnoj dobi čita i okružuje raznovrsnim govornim i slušnim poticajima. U tom aspektu mogu pomoći knjige, prvobitno slikovnice. Tijekom gledanja i čitanja slikovnice vizualno nas privlači svaki njezin dio. Osim ilustracija, slikovnica ima druge značajke koje doprinose estetici njezine forme. Svi dijelovi dizajna moraju fukcionirati kao cijelina kako bi ostvarili željeni učinak na čitatelja. Djeca uviđaju i najmanje detalje u ilustracijama, često predviđene od strane odraslih, koje mogu utjecati na razvoj dječje osjetljivosti za estetiku. Estetski doživljaj čitanja slikovnice krije se u osjetilima. Drugi dio rada je praktični te je prikazana autorska slikovnica pod nazivom „Maleni vrt“ prilagođena djeci od tri do pet godina. Također je prikazan i objašnjen proces izrade, korištene likovne tehnike te elementi koji se nalaze u slikovnici.Picture book is the first book with which the child comes in contact with and which helps him discover the world. Picture books were created with a specific goal, to encourage child development or to have fun. Like every other book for children, picture books have different functions to suit the needs of young children. These functions are important for children to develop in all aspects that help them manage the world in which they live in. The basic functions of picture books are: information-educational, cognitive, experiential, fun, aesthetic, and speech and language function. In order to make the enhance the value of the picture book it is important to have good illustrations and appropriate text. The paper explains the physical features of the picture book and the elements of design that affect the aesthetics. For a high-quality child development, it is very important to read in the prenatal age and to surround the child with various voices and hearing stimuli. In this aspect, books have great importance, most importantly picture books. When viewing and reading a picture book, we are visually attracted to each part of it. In addition to illustration, the picture book has other features that contribute to the aesthetics of its shape. All design elements must be fused as a whole to achieve the desired effect on the reader. Children are aware of even the slightest details in illustrations that are often foreseen by adults, that can influence on the development of childs sensitivity for aesthetics. The aesthetic experience of reading a picture book lies in the senses. The second part of the paper is practical in which is presented a picture book entitled "Small Garden" intended for children from three to five years old. The process of making the picture book, the techniques that were used and the elements of the picture book are also shown and explained
