    Features of the Use of Software and Hardware of the Educational Process in the Conditions of Blended Learning

    The paper reveals the results of a study of the feasibility of using software and hardware for the educational process in a blended learning environment in secondary, higher and vocational education. The author conducted an analysis of domestic and international research on distance learning (distance learning needs, requirements for distance learning platforms, experience in implementing distance and blended learning). In the course of the research, the author revealed the standard composition of modern software and hardware of the educational process in the conditions of blended learning and analyzed the market of Ukraine for the availability of ready-made complexes of the company. Recommendations for approaches to teaching in each age group of students and approaches to choosing a complex for implementation in a mixed and distance learning environment, taking into account the individual needs of each educational institution or educational organization. The research is theoretical in nature and designed to create a basis for further research in a given vector

Standards are needed to enable cooperation while promoting competition. Within the framework of a standard, the companies involved in the standardization process contribute and agree on appropriate technical specifications to ensure diversity and compatibility, and facilitate worldwide commercial deployment and evolution. Those parts of the system that can create competitive advantages are intentionally left open in the specifications. Such specifications are extensive, complex, and minimalistic. This makes telecommunication standards education a difficult endeavor, but it is much demanded by industry and governments to spur economic growth. This article describes a methodology for teaching wireless communications standards. We define our methodology around six learning stages that assimilate the standardization process and identify key learning objectives for each. Enabled by software-defined radio technology, we describe a practical learning environment that facilitates developing many of the needed technical and soft skills without the inherent difficulty and cost associated with radio frequency components and regulation. Using only open source software and commercial of-the-shelf computers, this environment is portable and can easily be recreated at other educational institutions and adapted to their educational needs and constraints.     CAHRS Partners\u27 Implementation of Artificial Intelligence

    [Excerpt] The ideas and uses for Artificial Intelligence (AI) are abundant, and each business is seemingly ripe for disruption, including HR. As the hype surrounding AI continues to be championed by popular press, we began our research in order to determine whether the press’ biased view that AI was here and ready to implement was accurate. We found that in reality, AI programs were far behind the progress discussed, as the software was slower, more expensive, and there was a general lack of amalgamation throughout the industry. From there, we asked CAHRS partners to tell us where AI was used in their company, and how it helped them deliver HR differently. Our research focused on how AI technology will disrupt, change, or bolster the HR function, specifically in Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development (L&D) spaces. We found our CAHRS partners dove into AI, and represented three key points along a spectrum of AI implementation. Of the 59 participants at 32 companies, 26% are Observers, 48% are Explorers, and 26% are Implementers. Observers were companies that did not believe AI fits with their strategy, and therefore do not intend to implement AI right now. Explorers are companies that have begun to actively explore AI through industry research, vendor exploration, and piloting AI and machine learning (ML) technologies. Implementers are companies that have either built in house or worked with an external vendor to implement an AI or machine learning technology. The CAHRS partners represented such a wide range along this spectrum because there are no best practices for AI implementation. However, each of our partners that leveraged AI understood the tool, while also understanding their business needs, people, and technology, which allowed them to utilize AI technology

    The integration of computer use in education

    There is an increasing awareness that disappointing experiences with the introduction of computers in education are a consequence of insufficiently taking into account factors that are crucial when introducing change in educational settings. Many of the problems in the literature show great similarity with the kind of problems often experienced in curriculum implementation. In this context the endeavors to make computer use an integrated part of classroom activities are analyzed. Emphasis will be laid on the interaction between teachers and courseware; elements for a more effective strategy for the integration of computer use in educational practice will be presented, with special attention to the design of support materials as an essential part of courseware
