Anti-periodic solution for fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with time-varying and distributed delays
In this paper, by using a continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory and a differential inequality, we establish some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and global exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions for a class of fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with time-varying and distributed delays. In addition, we present an illustrative example to show the feasibility of obtained results
New Results for Periodic Solution of High-Order BAM Neural Networks with Continuously Distributed Delays and Impulses
By M-matrix theory, inequality techniques, and Lyapunov functional method, certain sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence, uniqueness, and global exponential stability of periodic solution for a new type of high-order BAM neural networks with continuously distributed delays and impulses. These novel conditions extend and improve some previously known results in the literature. Finally, an illustrative example and its numerical simulation are given to show the feasibility and correctness of the derived criteria
Existence and global exponential stability of periodic solution for impulsive Cohen-Grossberg-type BAM neural networks with continuously distributed delays
This paper is concerned with the existence and global exponential stability of periodic solution for a class of impulsive Cohen-Grossberg-type BAM neural networks with continuously distributed delays. Some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and global exponential stability of periodic solution are derived by constructing a suitable Lyapunov function and a new differential inequality. The proposed method can also be applied to study the impulsive Cohen-Grossberg-type BAM neural networks with finite distributed delays. The results in this paper extend and improve the earlier publications. Finally, two examples with numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the obtained results. (C) 2009 Elsevier Inc. Existence, Uniqueness, and Stability Analysis of Impulsive Neural Networks with Mixed Time Delays
We study a class of impulsive neural networks with mixed time delays and generalized activation functions. The mixed delays include time-varying transmission delay, bounded time-varying distributed delay, and discrete constant delay in the leakage term. By using the contraction mapping theorem, we obtain a sufficient condition to guarantee the global existence and uniqueness of the solution for the addressed neural networks. In addition, a delay-independent sufficient condition for existence of an equilibrium point and some delay-dependent sufficient conditions for stability are derived, respectively, by using topological degree theory and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method. The presented results require neither the boundedness, monotonicity, and differentiability of the activation functions nor the differentiability (even differential boundedness) of time-varying delays. Moreover, the proposed stability criteria are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI), which can be conveniently checked by the MATLAB toolbox. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the obtained results
