Existence and global attractivity of positive almost periodic solutions for a kind of fishing model with pure-delay
summary:By using some analytical techniques, modified inequalities and Mawhin's continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, some sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one positive almost periodic solution of a kind of fishing model with delay are obtained. Further, the global attractivity of the positive almost periodic solution of this model is also considered. Finally, three examples are given to illustrate the main results of this paper
Mean almost periodicity and moment exponential stability of discrete-time stochastic shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with time delays
summary:By using the semi-discrete method of differential equations, a new version of discrete analogue of stochastic shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) is formulated, which gives a more accurate characterization for continuous-time stochastic SICNNs than that by Euler scheme. Firstly, the existence of the 2th mean almost periodic sequence solution of the discrete-time stochastic SICNNs is investigated with the help of Minkowski inequality, Hölder inequality and Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem. Secondly, the moment global exponential stability of the discrete-time stochastic SICNNs is also studied by using some analytical skills and the proof of contradiction. Finally, two examples are given to demonstrate that our results are feasible. By numerical simulations, we discuss the effect of stochastic perturbation on the almost periodicity and global exponential stability of the discrete-time stochastic SICNNs
Contributions to mathematical analysis of non-linear models with applications in population dynamics
The PhD thesis deals with two research lines, both within the framework of
mathematical analysis of non-linear models. The main differences appear in the type of equations we consider and
the approach used. On the one hand, we give some extensions of fixed point results that improve the localization of
solutions to boundary or initial value problems and we contribute to the application of fixed point theory to
population models. On the other hand, our main aim is to describe the asymptotic dynamics and bifurcations of
some discrete-time one-dimensional dynamical systems. We follow a more applied-oriented approach, dealing with
some population models arising in fisheries management or blood cell production

Intended to be a guide for academics, scholars, and interested leaders, this book was designed
to critically assess issues related to architectural identity, the city as a scene, the city as an
organism, the city as a subject, and the planning or rather approaching of one.
A pressing issue for many researchers in the field, the book discusses the negative repercussions
resulting from globalization. Studies have indicated that globalization, despite all the
positive effects, has resulted in a loss of identity within a city. As a city develops over time,
its identity is evolving as well and may even be lost due to rapid and constant changes it is
subjected to. Discussed as well are examples and tendencies in dealing with urban identities
as well as the transformation of cities and urban cultures mentioned in terms of form, identity,
and art.
This book is a combination of innovative research submitted to a conference on Cities’
Identity Through Architecture and Arts (CITAA) whereas scholars from all over the world
gather in one venue to discuss cultural, historical, and economic issues of the city. Thus, the
book offers a collective and global solution that is applicable on a universal level.
The research presented in this book was conducted by authors, or rather participants of
the conference from, three different continents of the world and organized by IEREK. It was
a distinct opportunity for them to share their thoughts with leading scholars and professionals
in the field of Architecture, Arts, and Planning.
