Algorithms for probabilistic uncertain linguistic multiple attribute group decision making based on the GRA and CRITIC method: application to location planning of electric vehicle charging stations
Electric vehicles (EVs) could be regarded as one of the most
innovative and high technologies all over the world to cope with
the fossil fuel energy resource crisis and environmental pollution
issues. As the initiatory task of EV charging station (EVCS) construction,
site selection play an important part throughout the
whole life cycle, which is deemed to be multiple attribute group
decision making (MAGDM) problem involving many experts and
many conflicting attributes. In this paper, a grey relational analysis
(GRA) method is investigated to tackle the probabilistic uncertain
linguistic MAGDM in which the attribute weights are completely
unknown information. Firstly, the definition of the expected value
is then employed to objectively derive the attribute weights
based on the CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation
(CRITIC) method. Then, the optimal alternative is chosen by calculating
largest relative relational degree from the probabilistic
uncertain linguistic positive ideal solution (PULPIS) which considers
both the largest grey relational coefficient from the PULPIS and the
smallest grey relational coefficient from the probabilistic uncertain
linguistic negative ideal solution (PULNIS). Finally, a numerical
case for site selection of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) is
designed to illustrate the proposed method. The result shows the
approach is simple, effective and easy to calculate

Papers were classified into 15 main application areas. Furthermore, papers were categorized based on the nationalities of authors, dates of publications, techniques and methods, type of studies, the names of the journals and studies purposes. The results of this study indicated that more papers on VIKOR technique were published in 2013 than in any other year. In addition, 13 papers were published about sustainability and renewable energy fields. Furthermore, VIKOR and fuzzy VIKOR methods, had the first rank in use. Additionally, the Journal of Expert Systems with Applications was the most significant journal in this study, with 27 publications on the topic. Finally, Taiwan had the first rank from 22 nationalities which used VIKOR technique
A Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Multicriteria Decision-Making Method with Interactive Criteria and Its Application to Renewable Energy Projects Selection
A variety of multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) methods for renewable energy projects evaluation have been proposed, of which the premise of using these methods is to assume that the criteria are independent of each other. However, it may be difficult or costly to build independent criteria set in some cases because renewable energy planning is to pursue a balance of economic, social, and environmental goals, which makes the existence of interaction among criteria be of great possibility. In this paper, we consider a highly ambiguous decision situation, where the experts are allowed to give the evaluations in the form of hesitant fuzzy linguistic terms set (HFLTS). We build a hesitant fuzzy linguistic decision-making model handling the interaction among criteria from the perspective of distance measure and apply it to renewable energy projects selection. The proposed method can consider more fuzzy factors and deal with the interaction among criteria more approximately. It can reduce the decision pressure and improve the decision-making efficiency because the decision makers are allowed to express their preference in form of HFLTS and a decision criteria set of which the criteria are independent of each other is not necessary
Distributed Linguistic Representations in Decision Making: Taxonomy, Key Elements and Applications, and Challenges in Data Science and Explainable Artificial Intelligence
Distributed linguistic representations are powerful tools for modelling the uncertainty and complexity of preference information in linguistic decision making. To provide a comprehensive perspective on the development of distributed linguistic representations in decision making, we present the taxonomy of existing distributed linguistic representations. Then, we review the key elements and applications of distributed linguistic information processing in decision making, including the distance measurement, aggregation methods, distributed linguistic preference relations, and distributed linguistic multiple attribute decision making models. Next, we provide a discussion on ongoing challenges and future research directions from the perspective of data science and explainable artificial intelligence.National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) 71971039

INVESTIGATION OF INDUSTRY 5.0 HURDLES AND THEIR MITIGATION TACTICS IN EMERGING ECONOMIES BY TODIM ARITHMETIC AND GEOMETRIC AGGREGATION OPERATORS IN SINGLE VALUE NEUTROSOPHIC ENVIRONMENT
Industry 5.0 acceptance is accelerating, but research is still in its infancy, and existing research covers a small subset of context-specific obstacles. This study aims to enumerate all potential obstacles, quantitatively rank them, and assess interdependencies at the organizational level for Industry 5.0 adoption. To achieve this, we thoroughly review the literature, identify obstacles, and investigate causal relationships using a multi-criteria decision-making approach called single value Neutrosophic TODIM. Single-valued Neutrosophic sets (SVNS) ensembles are employed in a real-world setting to deal with uncertainty and indeterminacy. The suggested strategy enables the experts to conduct group decision-making by focusing on ranking the smaller collection of criterion values and the comparison with the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory method (DEMATEL). According to the findings, the most significant hurdles are expenses and the funding system, capacity scalability, upskilling, and reskilling of human labor. As a result, a comfortable atmosphere is produced for decision-making, enabling the experts to handle an acceptable amount of data while still making choices
A rough Dombi Bonferroni based approach for public charging station type selection.
As the transition to electric mobility accelerates, charging infrastructure is rapidly expanding. Publicly accessible chargers, also known as electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), are critical not only for further promoting the transition but also for mitigating charger access anxiety among electric vehicle (EV) users. It is essential to install the proper EVSE configuration that meets the EV user's various considerations. This study presents a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) framework for determining the best performing public EVSE type from multiple EV user perspectives. The proposed approach combines a new MCDM model with an optimal public charging station model. While the optimal model outputs are used to evaluate the quantitative criteria, the MCDM model assesses EV users' evaluations of the qualitative criteria using nonlinear Bonferroni functions extended by rough Dombi norms. The proposed MCDM has standardization parameters with a flexible rough boundary interval, allowing for flexible and rational decision-making. The model is tested using real public EVSE charging data and EV users' evaluations from the field. All public EVSE alternatives are studied. Among the five EVSE options, DCFC EVSE is found to be the best performing, whereas three-phase AC L2 is the least performing option. In terms of EV user preferences, the required charging time is found to have the highest degree of importance, while V2G capability is the least important. The comparative analysis with state-of-the-art MCDM methods validates the proposed model results. Finally, sensitivity analysis verified the ranking order
Single-valued neutrosophic TODIM method based on cumulative prospect theory for multi-attribute group decision making and its application to medical emergency management evaluation
In recent years, emergent public health events happen from time
to time, which puts forward new requirements for the establishment of a perfect medical emergency system. It is a new direction
to evaluate the effectiveness of medical emergency systems from
the perspective of multi-attribute group decision making
(MAGDM) issues. In such article, we tend to resolve the MAGDM
issues under single-valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs) with TODIM
method based on cumulative prospect theory (CPT). And the single-valued neutrosophic TODIM method based on CPT (CPT-SVNTODIM) for MAGDM issues are developed. This new method not
only inherits advantages of classical TODIM method, but also has
further improvement in some aspects. For example, we set up the
entropy to calculate attribute weights for ensuring the more
objective decision-making process. Furthermore, it is also an
extension of MAGDM method to utilize single-valued neutrosophic numbers (SVNNs) to depict decision makers’ ideas. In addition, we introduce the application of CPT-SVN-TODIM method in
the assessment of medical emergency management. And finally,
the reliability of CPT-SVN-TODIM method is confirmed by comparing with some other methods
