Indonesia\u27s Role in Digital Diplomacy Through the Regional Conference on Digital Diplomacy (RCDD)
Developed countries and developing countries have now implemented digital diplomacy for the benefit of their foreign policy. Digital diplomacy is very important considering the massive development of technology. Indonesia as a developing country initiated the holding of the Regional Conference on Digital Diplomacy forum for 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Where it is located regionally or regionally adjacent and has similar interests. In this study, researchers focused more on Indonesia\u27s digital diplomacy through the Regional Conference on Digital Diplomacy. The author\u27s analysis uses qualitative research methods by prioritizing literature studies or library research and is aligned with the theory of digital diplomacy and the theory of regionalism. The results of this study indicate that 1) Digital diplomacy is carried out by Indonesia to follow world digital technology; 2) Regional Conference on Digital Diplomacy is an effort made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in building national forces through digital diplomacy meetings and the Asia Pacific region is a top priority in Indonesian regionalism politics; 3) Indonesian Digital Diplomacy through the Regional Conference on Digital Diplomacy is held as a follow-up to the International Seminar and International Conference on Digital Diplomacy. So that RCDD is in accordance with the objectives in the use of digital technology and increasing the contribution of Indonesia\u27s foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region
Publishing cooperative and work-integrated education literature: The Asia-Pacific Journal of Cooperative Education
The Asia-Pacific Journal of Cooperative Education (APJCE) was founded in 1999, with the first volume published in 2000. The journal strongly adhered to the philosophy of having freely and readily accessible information, and opted to be a free, fully online, open access journal. Over the last 12 years, the journal has grown and has become well-established in the cooperative (co-op) and work-integrated learning (WIL) community. The number of publications per year has steadily increased and the number of submissions has shown strong growth, especially in the last three years. APJCE articles are increasingly cited in other journals and significant book publications, and both its author and user bases have become more international. This article will discuss the advantages from the APJCE perspective of being an open access journal and provide an analysis of the growth of APJCE. The article will also discuss the performance of the journal in the context of co-op/WIL literature internationally and discuss some recent developments for the journal
The Development and Usage of the Greenstone Digital Library Software
The Greenstone software has helped spread the practical impact of digital library technology throughout the world-particularly in developing countries. This article reviews the project’s origins, usage, and the development of support mechanisms for Greenstone users. We begin with a brief summary of salient aspects of this open source software package and its user population. Next we describe how its international, humanitarian focus arose. We then review the special requirements imposed by the conditions that prevail in developing courtiers. Finally we discuss efforts to establish regional support organizations for Greenstone in India and Africa

Historical Overview: The Parliamentary Library from Past to Present
Parliamentary libraries (also known under various terminologies such
as federal libraries, legislative libraries, information resource centers, documentation
centers, or reference services) enhance the research and information
capacity of parliaments. As their histories show, however, some
also came to consider their constituencies as lying beyond the confines of
their parent legislature.published or submitted for publicatio

Auditing scholarly journals published in Malaysia and assessing their visibility
The problem with the identification of Malaysian scholarly journals lies in
the lack of a current and complete listing of journals published in Malaysia.
As a result, librarians are deprived of a tool that can be used for journal
selection and identification of gaps in their serials collection. This study
describes the audit carried out on scholarly journals, with the objectives (a)
to trace and characterized scholarly journal titles published in Malaysia, and
(b) to determine their visibility in international and national indexing
databases. A total of 464 titles were traced and their yearly trends, publisher
and publishing characteristics, bibliometrics and indexation in national,
international and subject-based indexes were described
