Research informants and Key informants deliberately obtained. Than through the observation,data collection is also done through in-depth in terviews with key informants,and informants, and the study of the document.Results of research show that knowledge has not been marginalized people maximum and still need help from the employee of internet gallery.From knowledge of aspects of the changes occurred mainly after the visitors gallery gallery utilize the increased knowledge,because guidance for free while aspects of behavior BBPPKI to overcome the digital gap in the socialization is done through electronic media,mass media and interpersonal communication

    Events and Controversies: Influences of a Shocking News Event on Information Seeking

    It has been suggested that online search and retrieval contributes to the intellectual isolation of users within their preexisting ideologies, where people's prior views are strengthened and alternative viewpoints are infrequently encountered. This so-called "filter bubble" phenomenon has been called out as especially detrimental when it comes to dialog among people on controversial, emotionally charged topics, such as the labeling of genetically modified food, the right to bear arms, the death penalty, and online privacy. We seek to identify and study information-seeking behavior and access to alternative versus reinforcing viewpoints following shocking, emotional, and large-scale news events. We choose for a case study to analyze search and browsing on gun control/rights, a strongly polarizing topic for both citizens and leaders of the United States. We study the period of time preceding and following a mass shooting to understand how its occurrence, follow-on discussions, and debate may have been linked to changes in the patterns of searching and browsing. We employ information-theoretic measures to quantify the diversity of Web domains of interest to users and understand the browsing patterns of users. We use these measures to characterize the influence of news events on these web search and browsing patterns

    The Prospects of M-Voting Implementation in Nigeria

    Since independence, an average of 50% of registered voters participates in voting [1]. Similarly, an increasing rate of apathy was observed between the electorate and the elect, which was not unconnected with lack of transparency, accountability, and probity on the part of government [2]. Thus the electorate did not see the need to subject itself to any stress. Consequently, government is very committed to implementing the forth coming elections through e-voting. This paper proposes the prospects of m-voting implementation in Nigeria through the use of mobile phones, PDAs, etc. with guaranteed security, secrecy, and convenience in a democratization process. It also reviews the level of adoption of GSM in Nigeria, the implication of voting through the GSM, and finally introducing m-voting innovation in the voting process to increase voters’ access and participation rate in election

    The widespread in accessing mobile phone changed the way people learning. Dealing with the rapid growth of technology, Mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) becoming popular because of the portability. MALL is characterized by its potential for learning to be spontaneous, informal, personalized, and ubiquitous. Two main discussions were analyzed in the research; to investigate the implementation of MALL and to know students perspective on Using MALL in writing class. Classroom action research applied in the research, in which observation and interview were used as instruments in collecting the data. The research result shown that MALL were able to be implemented in writing class, it facilitated the students to express their idea and feeling in writing with online board platform such as Padlet

Permasalahan yang ada pada WILLIAM KIRANA MOBILINDO adalah pelanggan kesulitan mendapatkan informasi penjualan dan tidak adanya layanan interaktif bagi pelanggan dalam mengetahui spesifikasi harga mobil selain datang langsung ke perusahaan atau komunikas melalui telepon. Dalam menjalankan aktivitas bisnisnya WILLIAM KIRANA MOBILINDO sudah menggunakan aplikasi untuk pengolahan data penjualan tetapi belum menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis website, hanya berbasis desktop. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan laporan ini adalah metode RUP (Rational Unified Process). Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website pada WILLIAM KIRANA MOBILINDO menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan diharapkan dapat membantu bisnis william kirana mobilindo palembang, yang dapat mempermudah pelanggan dalam mendapatkan informasi produk . Serta mampu mengatasi masalah-masalah yang ada dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan terhadap pelanggan WILLIAM KIRANA MOBILIND
