The problem of this paper lies in the weakness of teaching ethical professional practices in the academic programs of architecture colleges. Students have some shortcomings in the knowledge of professional ethical deviations that occur in building construction projects, and how they are handled, because of the lack of inclusion and coverage of professional ethics in the curricula of the current architecture taught to students. This could result in falling in the lapses that disturb work, whether intentionally or unintentionally. The paper reviewed an analysis of the programs and plans of architecture colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The search included the application of the (Delphi Method) in interviews with experts from the faculty members at King Saud University, King Abdul Aziz University and Abdul Rahman Al Faisal University. The research resulted in the proposed final framework for the programs and plans of the architecture colleges, and the need to integrate the teaching of professional ethical practices in the curricula of architecture colleges. The results include the following: Professional science for project management, contracts and documents by (33%), while the environmental control by (31%), and reached the lowest percentage of documents design and architectural details by (4%), while construction and construction percentage was close by (16%)

A new generation of higher education institutions need spaces designed to support interaction, collaboration, flexibility, social engagement, and the use of technology to make the youth competent for Industry 4.0. The learning spaces of Education 4.0 in Architecture colleges are unexplored; whether they also need the same type of spaces as other higher education institutes for 21st century pedagogy, is yet to be determined. The aim of this research is to find out the change required in formal and informal learning spaces in architecture colleges with the new trend of learning and skills required in Architecture Education. The research methodology adopted here is the case study research approach, together with the tools of survey and interview. A comparative analysis of the learning spaces in four architectural institutions in north India is done on the basis of flexibility, integration of technology and interactive social spaces. A further survey of 150 students and 75 teachers, were conducted to understand the preference of types of learning spaces of the users. The conclusion specifies that there is an equal need for both formal and informal learning spaces to enhance the learning of the students, and changes are required in the formal and informal learning spaces to incorporate these three factors of flexibility, integration of technology, and interactive social spaces for empowering youth with skills for fourth Industrial Revolution. This research will assist architects in creating a better learning environment for the Education 4.0 and future architects

The construction sector has always been constantly changing, becoming increasingly aggressive, requiring new strategies to adapt to international and national scenarios. In the development of a project, there are many constraints, which often end up in problems such as waste materials, generating waste affecting the environment and also resulting in high costs of the work that could be avoided. Then came the concept of BIM (building information modeling) defined by a digital model consists of a database, allowing the development of projects with various professionals working in an integrated manner, being able to support all aspects of the life cycle of the project. Therefore, from the research information on the implementation of BIM methodology, it was possible to propose new ways of thinking and designing buildings, contributing to the completion of research in the management of projects and sustainability areas relevant to the development of engineering1075576

Factores condicionantes en la simplificación de los templos católicos después del Vaticano II en Brasil: Análisis de la iglesia parroquial de Santa María de Campos

Under the influence of the liturgical reform promoted in the 20th century, Catholic temples assumed very simple characteristics, especially after the determinations of the Second Vatican Council. This simplification can be observed both in the construction of new temples and in the adaptation of others built before the period in question, causing the loss of its identity. In order to understand the simplification of these sacred spaces, we chose the case study: the renovation of Santa Maria de Campos dos Goytacazes Parish Church, located in the North of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the architectural intervention of this sacred space, conditioning factors were identified as: impositions of the local community; priests who are unaware of ecclesiastical determinations for liturgical space; and the scarcity of architects familiar with liturgical practices and conciliar guidelines. It is necessary to consider new proposals for the use of space, particularly in the rehabilitation of sacred spaces after the Second Vatican Council.

The problem this research it attempting to solve is how to market an on-campus resource to college students. Through conducting surveys, gathering research, reviewing case studies, and analyzing data, the author has found that the answer is to not to segment college students by major. It is more effective to figure out what a typical students’ needs are and address them by providing a solution to their problems. By strategically placing printed posters around campus that capitalized on student’s needs for study breaks and outlets to tap in to their ideas, the author found that more students respond to this than to targeted department announcements or Facebook ads
