    Bilal Mekar Snack Small and Medium Enterprise Development Strategy Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the development of a snack business in the Bilar Mekar small and medium snack industry using the AHP method. Analyzing the Snack Food Business Development Strategy in the Bilar Mekar Snack Small and Medium Industry Using the AHP. Analysis method used is the observation method using interview questionnaires and informant documentation as a research tool. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The analysis used in this research is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of this study indicate that 1.) Internal factors include: Strengths in the small and medium industry of Bilar Mekar Snack, namely products that have various flavors, have regular customers, availability of raw materials. Meanwhile, the weaknesses are lack of tools, lack of human resources in marketing. External factors include: opportunities for technological development, increasing population, while threats are similar products, and changes in tastes. 2) Based on the results of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis, the level of role in the HR factor is 37.6% where the strategy applied is orientation training, whereas at the product objective role level it has a percentage level of 51.50% the strategy implemented is by providing new innovations to the product, at the producer actor role level it has a percentage level of 73.6% the strategy implemented is by always monitoring the development of Small and Medium Industry companies Bilar Mekar Snack

    The reported study was funded by RFBR according to the research project No. 18-01000204_a, No. 16-07-00031_a, No. 18-07-00975_a.Purpose: The article is devoted to solving fundamental scientific problems in the scope of the development of forecasting modeling methods and evaluation of regional company’s innovative development parameters, synthesizing new methods of big data processing and intelligent analysis, as well as methods of knowledge eliciting and forecasting the dynamics of regional innovation developments through benchmarking. Design/Methodology/Approach: For regional economic development, it is required to identify the mechanisms that contribute to (or impede) the innovative economic development of the regions. The synergetic approach to management is based on the fact that there are multiple paths of IS development (scenarios with different probabilities), although it is necessary to reach the required attractor by meeting the management goals. Findings: The present research is focused on obtainment of new knowledge in creating a technique of multi-agent search, collection and processing of data on company’s innovative development indicators, models and methods of intelligent analysis of the collected data. Practical Implications: The author developed recommendations before starting the process of institutional changes in a specific regional innovation system. The article formulates recommendations on the implementation of institutional changes in the region taking into account the sociocultural characteristics of the region’s population. Originality/Value: It is the first time, when a complex of models and methods is based on the use of a convergent model of large data volumes processing is presented.peer-reviewe

    Simulation Models for Analyzing the Dynamic Costs of Process-aware Information Systems

    Introducing process-aware information systems (PAIS) in enterprises (e.g., workflow management systems, case handling systems) is associated with high costs. Though cost estimation has received considerable attention in software engineering for many years, it is difficult to apply existing approaches to PAIS. This difficulty particularly stems from the inability of existing estimation techniques to deal with the complex interplay of the many technological, organizational and project-driven factors which emerge in the context of PAIS. In response to this problem, this paper proposes an approach which utilizes simulation models for investigating the dynamic costs of PAIS engineering projects. We motivate the need for simulation, discuss the development and execution of simulation models, and give an illustrating example. The present work has been accomplished in the EcoPOST project, which deals with the development of a comprehensive evaluation framework for analyzing PAIS engineering projects from a value-based perspective

    Methodology for analyzing the level of international entrepreneurship development

    Purpose: The purpose of this article is the development of a methodology for analyzing the level of international entrepreneurship development and how to introduce and test this methodology in the non-financial enterprises in Poland. Design/Methodology/Approach: The proposed methodology consists of three stages. At the first stage, the indicators are analyzed, allowing revealing the level of participation of business structures in the national economy system. At the second stage, indicators characterizing the degree of investment activity and the efficiency of business structures functioning, as well as their activity in international markets, are examined. The third stage is devoted to the calculation of the final index of enterprises’ participation in international entrepreneurship. The research methodology is based on the use of the following methods: a descriptive statistics method; the method of grouping statistical data; the method of correlation analysis, as well as the regression analysis method. Findings: The proposed methodology makes it possible to comprehensively assess the level of entrepreneurial structures development and the degree of their involvement in international business processes. Practical Implications: The authors’ methodology can be the scientific rationale for the process of development of international entrepreneurship. Originality/Value: The methodology proposed the total index of participation of enterprises in international entrepreneurship as a comprehensive indicator of entrepreneurial activity in international markets, based on volumes and efficiency of export operations of business structures.peer-reviewe

Effective use of natural resources is pressing concern. Particularly, water resources for drinking are predicted to be in serious shortage in 2050 due to increase in population and rapid urbanization throughout the world. The beginning of the 21st century is straddled with enormous environmental problems of which water shortage is one of the most serious. It is a well-known fact that fresh water resources are continuously declining throughout the world and according to a report by the United Nations, water will be very short in future. It is expected that 5bn people will be short of drinking water in 2050 [1]. In another report published by OECD, it is stated that a number of people living in river basins will be under severe water stress which is expected to be double in 2050 .

    On Modeling and Analyzing Cost Factors in Information Systems Engineering

    Introducing enterprise information systems (EIS) is usually associated with high costs. It is therefore crucial to understand those factors that determine or influence these costs. Though software cost estimation has received considerable attention during the last decades, it is difficult to apply existing approaches to EIS. This difficulty particularly stems from the inability of these methods to deal with the dynamic interactions of the many technological, organizational and projectdriven cost factors which specifically arise in the context of EIS. Picking up this problem, we introduce the EcoPOST framework to investigate the complex cost structures of EIS engineering projects through qualitative cost evaluation models. This paper extends previously described concepts and introduces design rules and guidelines for cost evaluation models in order to enhance the development of meaningful and useful EcoPOST cost evaluation models. A case study illustrates the benefits of our approach. Most important, our EcoPOST framework is an important tool supporting EIS engineers in gaining a better understanding of the critical factors determining the costs of EIS engineering projects
