Wissensorganisation is the name of a series of biennial conferences / workshops with a long tradition, organized by the German chapter of the International Society of Knowledge Organization (ISKO). The 15th conference in this series, held at Freie Universität Berlin, focused on knowledge organization for the digital humanities. Structuring, and interacting with, large data collections has become a major issue in the digital humanities. In these proceedings, various aspects of knowledge organization in the digital humanities are discussed, and the authors of the papers show how projects in the digital humanities deal with knowledge organization.Wissensorganisation ist der Name einer Konferenzreihe mit einer langjährigen Tradition, die von der Deutschen Sektion der International Society of Knowledge Organization (ISKO) organisiert wird. The Modeling of Multicriteria Assessment Activity in Enterprise Management

A lot of functions of enterprise management are grounded on the analytical basis that include the models of activity assessment which appears to be multicriteria under the complicated conditions of globalistics. The aim of the study is to improve the mathematical instrument for modeling the multicriteria assessment of enterprise activity. Taking into account the positive practice of using the Balanced Scorecard for assessing enterprise performance, its criteria are structured according to four components and serve for content assessment model. The assessment of enterprise activity based on the Balanced Scorecard mostly accounted for cause and effect interconnections, but this is just its level that influences the assessment. The paper presents the improved function of transforming the assessment criteria values and the formula of value calibration. The advantages of this function are flexibility and taking account the regular tendencies of changes in the criteria values. The level of enterprise performance is determined by an integrated index obtained as partial desirability functions folding by gmean. This generalizing desirability function is sensitive to small transformed criteria values that realizes tough requirements to assessment. The developed methodological approach in the modeling of multicriteria assessment of enterprise activity provides for taking into account the main criteria and possibility of their hierarchical systematization. The results of such modeling can be used in the processes of control, controlling and monitoring of this activity

Co-occurrence patterns in diagnostic data

We demonstrate how graph decomposition techniques can be employed for the visualization of hierarchical co-occurrence patterns between medical data items. Our research is based on Gaifman graphs (a mathematical concept introduced in Logic), on specific variants of this concept, and on existing graph decomposition notions, specifically, graph modules and the clan decomposition of so-called 2-structures. The construction of the Gaifman graphs from a dataset is based on co-occurrence, or lack of it, of items in the dataset. We may select a discretization on the edge labels to aim at one among several Gaifman graph variants. Grundlagen der Informationswissenschaft

Die 7. Ausgabe der "Grundlagen der praktischen Information und Dokumentation" (Erstausgabe 1972) heißt jetzt: „Grundlagen der Informationswissenschaft". Der Bezug zur Praxis und zur Ausbildung bleibt erhalten, aber der neue Titel trägt dem Rechnung, dass die wissenschaftliche theoretische Absicherung für alle Bereiche von Wissen und Information, nicht nur in der Fachinformation, sondern auch in den Informationsdiensten des Internet immer wichtiger wird. Für die Grundlagen sind 73 Artikel in 6 Hauptkapiteln vorgesehen. Viele Themen werden zum ersten Mal behandelt, z.B.
