On Common Fixed Point Theorem in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces
Fixed point theory has fascinated hundreds of researchers since 1922 with the celebrated Banachâs fixed point theorem. There exists a vast literature on the topic and this is a very active field of research at present. The main purpose of this paper is to prove some generalized common fixed point theorem in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. Key Words: - Fixed point, common fixed point intuitionistic fuzzy metric space, weakly compatible mapping
On Common Fixed Point Theorem in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces with Rational Inequality
: In this paper, we use the concepts of subcompatibility and subsequential continuity in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces which are respectively weaker than occasionally weak compatibility and reciprocal continuity. With them, we establish a common fixed point theorem for four mapstaking rational inequality. AMS Subject Classification Codes: 47H10, 54H25 Keywords:Intuitionistic fuzzy metric space, Subcompatibility and Subsequential continuity, common fixed point theorem, implicit relation
Common Fixed Point Theorem for Occasionally Weakly Compatible Mapping in Q-Fuzzy Metric Space
The Fixed Point theory is an important and major topic of the nonlinear functional analysis that deals with the investigation leading to the existence and approximation of a âFixed Pointâ. To enhance its literature, the Common Fixed Point Theorem in Q Fuzzy Metric Space, is established as a prime objective of this paper .The goal is achieved by taking four self mappings on a Q Fuzzy Metric Space, satisfying the general contractive condition along with the definition of occasionally weakly compatible. The theorem is also illustrated with example and a unique fixed point is derived. Our result is independent of the continuity requirement of the maps and completeness of the space. Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25 Keywords: Fixed point, Occasionally Weakly Compatible mapping, Q-fuzzy metric spaces
Common Fixed Point of Weakly Compatible Maps on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces
In this paper, we introduce the concept of - chainable intuitionistic fuzzy metric space askin to the notion of - chainable fuzzy metric space and prove a common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings in this newly defined space. Â 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25
Common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric spaces
The aim of this paper is to prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric space by using the (CLRg) property. An example is also furnished which demonstrates the validity of our main result. As an application to our main result, we present a fixed point theorem for two finite families of self mappings in fuzzy metric space by using the notion of pairwise commuting. Our results improve the results of Sedghi, Shobe and Aliouche [A common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric spaces, Gen. Math. 18(3) (2010), 3-12 MR2735558]
Common Fixed Point Theorem for Weakly Compatible Maps in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces using Implicit Relation
In this paper, we use the notion of property E.A. in an intuitionistic fuzzy metric space to prove a common fixed point theorem which generalizes Theorem-2 of Turkoglu et al. (2006)
FIXED POINT THEOREM IN FUZZY METRIC SPACE WITH THE PROPERTY
The purpose of this paper is to prove a common fixed point theorem for semi-compatible and occasionally weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric space by using the property (E.A.) and implicit relation. Our result generalizes the result of [14]. Keywords: Fuzzy metric space, property (E.A.), semi-compatible and weakly compatible mappings. 2010 MSC: Primary 54E70; Secondary 54H25
