On metrical fixed point theorems in symmetric spaces

    Get PDF
The aim of this paper is to obtain some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings in symmetric spaces satisfying generalized -contractive conditions under the common limit range property. Our results generalize and extend some recent results to symmetric spaces and consequently a host of metrical common fixed theorems are generalized and improved. In the process, we also derive a fixed point theorem for four finite families of self-mappings which can be utilized to derive common fixed point theorems involving any number of finite mappings. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are also furnished

Common Fixed Point Theorems of Integral Type in Menger Pm Spaces

    Get PDF
In this paper, we propose integral type common fixed point theorems in Menger spaces satisfying common property (E.A). Our results generalize several previously known results in Menger as well as metric spaces. Keywords: Menger space; Common property (E.A); weakly compatible pair of mappings and t-norm

Common Fixed Point Results for Occasionally Weakly Compatible Maps in G-Symmetric Spaces

    Get PDF
The notion of a G-symmetric space is introduced and the common fixed points for some pairs of occasionally weakly compatible maps satisfying some contractive conditions in a G-symmetric space are proved. The results extend and improve some results in literature

Common fixed points of self maps satisfying an integral type contractive condition in fuzzy metric spaces

    Get PDF
In this paper, first we prove fixed point theorems for different variant of compatible maps, satisfying a contractive condition of integral type in fuzzy metric spaces, which improve the results of Branciari [2], Rhoades [33], Kumar et al. [23] Subramanyam [35] and results of various authors cited in the literature of "Fixed Point Theory and Applications". Secondly, we introduce the notion of any kind of weakly compatible maps and prove a fixed point theorem for weakly compatible maps along with the notion of any kind of weakly compatible. At the end, we prove a fixed point theorem using variants of R-Weakly commuting mappings in fuzzy metric spaces

COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR HYBRID PAIRS OF MAPPINGS USING IMPLICIT RELATIONS IN FUZZY METRIC SPACE

    Get PDF
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the notion of a new type of common limit range property for a hybrid pair of single and multivalued mappings in fuzzy metric space and establish some common fixed point theorems satisfying the same property using implicit relations. Some related results are also derived besides furnishing illustrative examples. Further, we also present an integral type common fixed pointtheorem in fuzzy metric space. Our results improve and extend some previously known results

In this paper, first we prove a common fixed point theorem using weakly compatible mapping in 2- Menger space which generalize the well known results. Secondly, we prove a common fixed point theorem using (S-B) property along with weakly compatible maps. (S-B) property defined by Sharma and Bamoria [16] via implicit relation.
