Reflexões e contribuições da bioética para uma educação libertadora

Abstract

Bioethics link ethical aspects of life to biotechnological advances and their association with the humanities. This article is qualitative and descriptive in nature and aimed to stimulate reflections in the field of bioethics of intervention and the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights (UDBHR) for education at its different levels, including technological and professional, for the formation of ethical citizens committed to their realities and capable of making more ethically coherent decisions, in the context of peripheral countries. The insertion of bioethics at different levels of education can stimulate critical thinking about issues such as poverty, social inequality, poor income distribution and the globalization model and converges the idea of ​​liberating pedagogy for citizen, critical and reflective training of the student.A bioética busca ligar aspectos éticos da vida diante dos avanços biotecnocientíficos e sua associação às humanidades. Este artigo é de natureza qualitativa e descritiva e objetivou estimular reflexões do campo da bioética da intervenção e da Declaração Universal sobre Bioética e Direitos Humanos (DUBDH) para a educação em seus diferentes níveis, incluindo a tecnológica e profissional, para a formação de cidadãos eticamente comprometidos suas realidades e capazes de tomar decisões eticamente mais coerentes, no contexto de países periféricos. A inserção da bioética em distintos níveis de ensino pode estimular o pensar crítico acerca de questões como a pobreza, a desigualdade social, má distribuição de renda e o modelo de globalização e converge a ideia da pedagogia libertadora para formação cidadã, crítica  e reflexiva do educando
