Study on landscape town development utilizing historical resources and landscape guidelines -Case study of Nakashima river, Teramachi, Maruyama area and Fukahori area in Nagasaki City-

Abstract

We clarified the actual situation of scenery management of Nakashima river, Teramachi, Maruyama area in Nagasaki city. In addition, we classified facade design and examined approaches to subsidy system and landscape standard. As a result, while public landscape management did not progress well, we also found activities to improve the landscape voluntarily. Next, we conducted a questionnaire survey in Fukahori area. There were many requests for support from government and universities. As a result, it became clear that it was necessary to raise the awareness of the residents and to prepare support systems such as grants
