Entre o estranho e o afeto: construção de sentidos sobre as relações de amizade entre travestis

Abstract

In the field of humanities discipline, we identified that productions are incipient in the world of transvestites. The research that has addressed this issue is primarily anchored in anthropology, highlighting the ethnographic research that reflect the daily lives of transvestites and describe their lifestyles. These productions have emphasized many times, the world of transvestites practices associated with prostitution, recognizing this kind of work as an important means for the construction of sociability. Considering the possibility of recognizing other views, links and spaces that involve the complexity of this universe, this study aims to describe the interpretative repertoires on the relations of friendship between the transvestites. The participants of this study are 10 transvestites who live in Uberlândia/MG. The semi-structured interview was the methodological approach chosen for data collection, supported by the record field notebook as a contributor to the ongoing process of reflection. Data analysis was based on proposals of discourse analysis informed by social constructionist perspective. The analysis included a transcript of all interviews, followed by your reading, allowing the identification of interpretative repertoires. Five repertoires were identified: (1) Friendship-Babado, (2) Friendship-Batalha, (3) Friendship-Family, (4) Friendship- Secret and (5) Friendship-Uó. The use of repertoires possible to consider the relationships between the different arrangements that transvestites in turn shape the way you tell about transvestites in this universe, either positively or legitimizing sense of marginality and stigma they share. As pesquisas que contemplam esse tema ancoram-se principalmente na Antropologia, destacando as pesquisas etnográficas que traduzem o cotidiano das travestis e descrevem seus modos de vida. Essas produções têm enfatizado, muitas vezes, o universo das travestis associado às práticas da prostituição, reconhecendo-as como importante meio para construção de sociabilidades. Considerando a possibilidade de reconhecer outros olhares, vínculos e espaços que envolvem a complexidade desse universo, este estudo tem como objetivo geral descrever os repertórios interpretativos sobre as relações de amizade entre as travestis. Participaram da pesquisa 10 travestis residentes em Uberlândia/MG. A entrevista semi-estruturada foi o recurso metodológico escolhido para a coleta de dados, apoiada pelo registro do caderno de campo como colaborador contínuo do processo reflexivo. A análise dos dados se baseou nas propostas de análise do discurso informada pela perspectiva construcionista social. A análise incluiu a transcrição de todas as entrevistas realizadas, seguida de sua leitura, possibilitando a identificação dos repertórios interpretativos. Cinco repertórios foram identificados: (1)Amizade-Babado; (2)Amizade-Batalha; (3)Amizade-Família; (4)Amizade-Segredo e (5)Amizade-Uó. O uso dos repertórios permitiu considerar as relações entre as travestis em diferentes arranjos que por sua vez, forjam a maneira como as travestis contam sobre si nesse universo, seja positivamente, seja legitimando sentidos da marginalidade e do estigma que compartilham. Esses sentidos criam, portanto, a possibilidade de existência entre elas e, por conseguinte, colaboram na fundamentação de trabalhos e políticas direcionados a essa população
