Bridging Education and Industry: The Implementation Phase of an Integrated Industrial Class
High graduate unemployment rates from Indonesian vocational high schools highlight a critical mismatch between educational competencies and industry demands. This article investigates the implementation phase of an integrated industrial class program within the Hospitality Skills Program at SMK Negeri 60 Jakarta, designed to address this gap. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered via interviews, observations, and document analysis, focusing on program execution. Findings reveal a "week release" system alternating students between school and partner hotels, involving systematic dispatch, industry induction, and departmental placements for active participation in operational tasks. School-led monitoring and support were integral. This immersive implementation significantly enhanced students' technical and interpersonal skills. However, challenges included student adaptation, logistical issues, and aligning school-industry expectations. The study concludes that successful industrial class implementation, vital for mitigating the competency gap, hinges on strong school-industry collaboration, robust support, and adaptive management, offering insights for effective work-integrated vocational learning
Assessment And Differentiated Learning For Teachers In Vocational Secondary Schools
This research aims to explore the application of differentiated instruction and its assessment in Vocational High Schools, focusing on teachers' understanding, challenges in implementation, the use of differentiated assessment, and its impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. Findings indicate that teachers understand the fundamental principles of differentiated instruction and have attempted to apply them through various approaches, such as grouping students based on ability levels and adjusting materials. However, the main challenges faced include time constraints, limited resources, and a lack of training to effectively implement differentiation. Differentiated assessment has also been applied in the form of formative and project-based assessments, though teachers report difficulties in providing in-depth feedback within limited timeframes. Positive impacts from the application of differentiated instruction are seen in increased student interest and motivation, as well as improved learning outcomes. This study provides theoretical contributions by supporting the application of differentiated instruction principles within the vocational education context and offers suggestions to enhance teacher training and resource development for more effective differentiation. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for developing more inclusive and adaptive learning approaches in vocational school and other educational institutions
Improving the Beginning Reading Skills of Slow Learner Students Through the Use of Animated Audio-Visual Media Powtoon in Indonesian Language Learning at Advent Elementary School (SD)
This study aims to improve the early reading skills of slow learner students through the utilization of Powtoon animated audio-visual media in Indonesian language instruction at SD Advent Sangatta. The specific objective of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of animation media in capturing attention, enhancing comprehension, and stimulating learning motivation among students with special needs, particularly those who face difficulties in early reading.
The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were four slow learner students in the first grade of SD Advent Sangatta. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, observations, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-tests, as well as qualitatively through thematic analysis.
The results show that the use of Powtoon media had a significant impact on improving the early reading abilities of slow learner students. The average pretest score of 35 increased to 65 in the posttest, showing an 85.71% improvement. Additionally, students demonstrated greater focus, motivation, and engagement during the learning process. Interviews and observations confirmed that the media made learning more enjoyable, easier to understand, and aligned with the learning characteristics of slow learners. Therefore, the use of animated media like Powtoon is recommended as an effective and inclusive instructional strategy for students with special educational needs.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MICROSITE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERLITERASI SAINS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Based on the results released by the OECD in 2023, literacy in Indonesia has increased in rank but decreased in score. The biggest decline was in the field of science. Facts on the ground also show that students' ability in science literacy is still low. This is evidenced by data from the Regional Competency Test conducted in 2024. To overcome this, researchers try to provide alternatives in the form of developing microsite-based learning media to improve the science literacy skills of elementary school students. The research method used is R n D with the ADDIE model. The result is that microsite-based learning media to improve students' literacy skills in elementary school is feasible to use and preferred by students. With a good level of media feasibility, it is hoped that this microsite-based learning media can be used in learning and can improve the science literacy skills of elementary school students.Berdasarkan hasil yang dirilis oleh OECD pada tahun 2023, literasi di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan dalam peringkat namun mengalami penurunan dalam skor. Penurunan yang paling besar berada pada bidang sains. Fakta di lapangan juga menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam literasi sains masih rendah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan data dari Uji Komptensi Daerah yang dilakukan pada tahun 2024. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti mencoba memberikan alternatif berupa mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis microsite untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berliterasi sains siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang dipakai menggunakan R n D dengan model ADDIE. Hasilnya media pembelajaran berbasis microsite untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berliterasi siswa di sekolah dasar ini layak untuk digunakan dan disukai oleh siswa. Implementation of Competency-Based Education (CBE) In Health Education: A Scoping Review
Praktisi kesehatan perlu mengintegrasikan keterampilan dan pengetahuan baru untuk memenuhi tuntutan era global. Pendidikan Berbasis Kompetensi (CBE) merupakan alternatif yang menjanjikan dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan CBE dalam pendidikan kesehatan, peningkatan kompetensi klinis, tantangan, dan solusi potensial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Scoping Review dengan lima langkah untuk mensintesis literatur yang ada, diikuti dengan analisis mendalam menggunakan pendekatan Population, Exposure, Outcome (PEO). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari April 2024 hingga Juni 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBE secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi klinis praktisi kesehatan dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran
Improving the Quality of Education Through Environmentally Based Learning
Environmental education is education that helps individuals become more familiar with their environment, develop responsible behavior and environmental skills to improve the quality of the environment. One effort that can be made to improve the quality of the environment is to provide environmental education from an early age through the education process. This paper aims to analyze improving the quality of environmentally based education and examine studies of environmentally based education in improving the quality of education. Increasing insight into improving the quality of environment-based education based on a literature review shows that to produce quality graduates there are several factors that need to be achieved, such as teacher quality, curriculum, educational facilities and educational management which are determining factors in achieving good goals. education quality. The Use of Metaverse in Providing Interactive Learning Experiences in Schools
The development of digital technology has played an increasingly important role in education, and the concept of the metaverse offers the potential to enhance the quality of learning. The implementation of metaverse in education is gradually taking place, but understanding and utilization are still limited, especially at the primary and secondary school levels. This is further reinforced by the fact that Indonesia still adheres to mass education or education 2.0. This statement reflects the limitations in understanding and utilizing the concept of metaverse in school-based learning. This research aims to explore the utilization of metaverse as an interactive learning tool in the school environment. The research method used is a survey method, with educators at the primary and secondary school levels as respondents. Quantitative descriptive analysis is employed to determine the values of the related variables. The results of this research show that 40.4% of the respondents state that integrating social media with the metaverse can enhance the engagement and relevance of learning, creating interesting and interactive learning experiences. The metaverse also supports virtual social interactions, collaborative learning, and strengthens relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds. However, 47.4% of the respondents state that the integration of metaverse in learning practices is still limited, and learners' understanding of the metaverse needs to be improved. Further efforts are needed to integrate the metaverse into learning practices at schools, develop effective learning materials, and address existing challenges. In conclusion, the use of metaverse in learning has the potential to enhance learner engagement, creativity, collaboration, and motivation, but it requires more intensive efforts to fully integrate it into learning practices at schools
Strategy for Fulfilling Resources and Managing Education Financing in Primary Schools
One of the important problems in educational development in almost every country in the world is education financing. Education financing is an activity related to obtaining the funds received and how these funds are used to finance all educational programs that have been determined. This research aims to determine the sources of education financing and how elementary school education financing is managed in Blora Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The research was conducted in three elementary schools in Blora Regency. The data collection method in this research was carried out in three ways, namely: interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results are: (1) Fulfillment of funding sources for primary school education in Blora Regency comes from three main sources, namely: central government, regional government, and the community; (2) Management of primary school education financing in Blora Regency has been carried out in three stages, namely: planning education financing, implementing education financing and evaluating education financing
Comparison Between Contextual and Conventional Learning on The Poetry Writing Ability of Senior High School 1 Lembang Students
Students' ability to write poetry must be more meaningful, this will not happen if Indonesian language teachers still use conventional models in their learning. Breakthroughs such as Contextual Learning are needed so that learning to write poetry is more meaningful for students. The aim of the research is to determine the differences in the poetry writing abilities of students who study using Contextual Learning and conventional models at SMAN 1 Lembang. The research used in this research is experimental, with Non-equivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control-Group Design. The population in this study was class X students of Senior High School 1 Lembang, totaling 10 classes. The sample was determined randomly, so classes X 3 and X 7 were determined, each with 31 students. The instrument uses the Poetry Writing Ability Test. Data analysis follows the following steps: 1) Normality test with p-value > 0.05, 2) Homogeneity test with p-value < 0.05, and 3) ANOVA test with p-value < 0.05. If the data is not normal or homogeneous then a Non-Parametric test is carried out using the Wilcoxxon and Mann-Whitney U tests. The research results show that the use of Contextual Learning in learning to write poetry provides better results when compared to conventional models
Literature Review: The Application of TPS Cooperative Learning Model In Improving Student Learning Outcomes
Cooperative learning can be defined as a method in which students work together in small groups to support each other's learning, with the goal of understanding class objectives and engaging in learning activities. An instructional approach that utilizes this new framework is known as Think Pair Share (TPS), a pedagogical model consisting of several learning stages that can increase student engagement and interaction. The Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model is a structured approach to group learning where students exchange ideas to improve their cognitive abilities, articulate their viewpoints, and foster collaboration among peers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the TPS (Think Pair Share) cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study used a methodology by conducting a literature review. The methodology used in this literature review is based on a qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques from the literature review. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the TPS (Think Pair Share) type cooperative learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
