HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEGIATAN MEMBANGKITKAN MOTIVASI KERJA OLEH KEPALA SEKOLAH DENGAN KINERJA GURU SEBAGAI MANAJER KELAS
The objective of this research is to know the relationship between principals’ activities to increase the working motivation based on teachers’ evaluation and the teachers’ performance as classroom managers. This research is conducted in Government Primary Schools, Kediri Municipality, East Java Province. The method employed in this research is survey covering 104 classroom teachers as samples, which are selected by cluster random sampling technique. Data are collected by using questionnaires and are analyzed by using simple correlating technique and linear regression technique. The result shows, there is a positive relationship between principals activities to increase the working motivation based on teachers evaluation and the teachers performance as classroom managers. It can be concluded that the more active principals to increase the working motivation is improved the teachers performance
RANCANGAN UNDANG- UNDANG TENTANG SISTEM PERBUKUAN NASIONAL
Kemajuan pendidikan suatu bangsa dapat diukur antara lain dari kemajuan industri buku yang dimilikinya. Pendidikan yang maju didukung oleh industri buku yang maju pula. Akan tetapi kemajuan industri buku di Indonesia belum berkembang dengan baik. Secara jumlah dan mutu, pengarang/penulis, penerbit, percetakan, penyalur/distributor buku serta masyarakat pembaca, belum memadai di bandingkan dengan negara-negara maju bahkan antar negara di kawasan Asean sendiri. Buku baru yang diterbitkan di Indonesia mencapai rata-rata 6000 judul buku termasuk di dalamnya hasil terjemahan. Oleh karena itu tidak mengherankan kalau buku-buku baru terbitan Indonesia tidak banyak terlihat di perpustakaan di Indonesia. Banyak siswa, mahasiswa, guru, dosen, dan peneliti mengalami kesulitan menemukan buku-buku terbitan Indonesia sebagai referensi
SEKOLAH GRATIS, SEKOLAH TAK BERDAYA
In the compulsory basic education program, the Government implements a set of policies, one of which is providing funds directly to schools through Block Grant or Operational Fund Assistance. This policy is expected to strengthen school capability in managing and developing school activities to improve the instructional quality and to give more opportunity for school age children to attend schools. Based on the observation at two government primary schools in Jakarta, it is found out that the policy has weakened the school creativity due to the strict regulations and supervision on the usage of the fund provided by the Government. The educational activities previuosly developed and funded under school initiatives have to be terminated as in the present regulation the schools are not allowed to find financial resources, while the fund provided by the Government is not enough to support the activities. The school master will have serious sanctions if he/she does not follow the regulations properly. This study suggests the existing regulations should be reviewed and improved
KONTRIBUSI MINAT BACA BUKU BERBAHASA INGGRIS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS SISWA KELAS I SMAN 68 JAKARTA
This research aims gathering data of reading interest in English books and learning achievement in English subject of the first year Senior High School student. Research methods employed is descriptif corellational methods. The population of the reasearch coverage all first year student in add classes with the average number of the student in each class is 45 student. The sample is choosen by simple random sampling. The form of the instrument to collect data is presented in Liked skill with variable (x) is reading interest in English books and variable (y) is the mark of English subject stated in the report. The research findings so that there is positive corellation between the two variable ( rhitung = 0,99 > r table = 0,312). R = r2 = 99,4% determine by variable x. It also concluded, there is positve corellation between reading interast and learning acvievement in English subject. The contribution of reading interest in English books to learning achievement is 99,4%

Reading interest should be developed as early possible to become a reading habits and later reading will become a need. In developing reading interest for primary school students, the learning environmental, including classroom library and classroom setting plays an important role
