PENGARUH KUALITAS PELAYANAN TERHADAP KEPUASAN PELANGGAN DALAM MEMBENTUK LOYALITAS PELANGGAN (Studi Pada Pelanggan Sego Sambel Kasemo Malang)

The aim of this research is to determine service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The influence of service quality on customer loyalty, the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction, the influence of satisfaction on customer loyalty and customer satisfaction can be an intervening influence between service quality on customer loyalty. This research is correlational research which aims to investigate the extent to which variations in one variable are related to variations in one or more other variables based on the correlation coefficient. The population of this research is Sego Sambel Kasemo Malang customers with a sample size of 100 respondents. The data analysis method used in this research is path analysis. The results of the analysis show that service quality is included in the good criteria, customer satisfaction is included in the satisfaction criteria and customer loyalty is included in the loyal criteria. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction is proven to be an intervening variable in the influence between service quality and customer loyalty

PENGARUH POLA ASUH OTORITER ORANG TUA TERHADAP HARGA DIRI REMAJA

Adolescence is a crucial stage of development and experiences many developments, one of which is the development of self-esteem. Adolescence self-esteem is greatly influenced by the surrounding environment, especially the family. Parenting for adolescent requires more than just a bond between parents and adolescent, but includes assessment between parents and adolescent. The parenting style that tends to influence low levels of self-assessment is authoritarian parenting. Authoritarian parenting is a type of parenting pattern that is characterized by strict control, rigid rules, punishment, and poor verbal communication between parents and adolescent. The purpose to be achieved in this research is to determine the influence of parents authoritarian parenting style on self-esteem in adolescents. The design of this research is non-experimental quantitative. The research subjects involved 250 adolescent aged 13-19 years who received critical, restrictive, restraint and punitive care from their parents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The instrument uses the RSES scale (Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale) and the PSDQ scale (Parenting Style and Dimension Questionnaire). Analysis of the research data used a simple linear regression test using SPSS version 25. The results showed that the beta (β) was -0.659 and the value (p) = 0.000 (<0.05), it can be concluded that parents authoritarian parenting style influences self-esteem in adolescent

PENGARUH KINERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN DINAS LINGKUNGAN HIDUP KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN

Kepuasan kerja dalam pekerjaan ialah kepuasan kerja yang dapat dinikmati dalam pekerjaan dengan mendapatkan hasil dari pencapaian tujuan kerja, penempatan, perlakuan, dan suasana lingkungan kerja yang baik. Karyawan yang dapat menikmati kepuasan kerja dalam pekerjaan ini, akan memilih untuk lebih mengutamakan pekerjaannya dari pada balas jasa/upah yang didapatkan dari pekerjaan tersebut. Karyawan akan merasa lebih puas apabila balas jasanya sebanding dengan hasil kerja yang dilakukan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja di Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel sampling jenuh yang terdapat di Non-Probability Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan populasi yang bekerja pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Pamekasan berjumlah 140 orang. Hasil menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan antara kinerja karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan, maka semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan, kontribusi atau sumbangan pengaruh kinerja terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 90,3%, sedangkan sisanya 9,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain

HYBRID ENGLISH TEACHING METHODS IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL OF INDONESIA: A CASE STUDY

This research investigates hybrid English teaching method and students’ perception to the hybrid English teaching in senior high school. It is qualitative study with narrative research design. The study explores the teachers’ experiences in hybrid English teaching for senior high school related to the teaching method and the students’ perception toward hybrid English teaching. The participants of this study are the English teacher and the tenth-grade students of SMAK Syuradikara Ende. In collecting the data, this study uses observation, interview and questionnaire collection techniques and the instruments to collect the data are observation checklist, interview guide and questionnaire guide. Result of this study shows that the teacher combining more than one teaching method to teach English in the tenth-grade students. It is expected to increase students' motivation and understanding of the English lesson. Result of this study also shows that the students give positive perception toward hybrid English teaching. The lack of teacher mastery of technology makes the students have limited access to learning resources. They want English learning to be conducted by holding group discussions, learning using animated videos and learning outside the classroom. In conclusion, to improve teaching effectiveness, teachers need to receive training and continuing education in various teaching methods, including the use of technology in learning. This can help teachers improve their skills and adopt best practices in hybrid English teaching

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN YANG BERORIENTASI LITERASI NUMERASI BERBASIS ANDROID PADA MATERI STATISTIKA DI SMP

In this study, researchers want to create and develop a learning media that will be useful in student teaching and learning activities. The ability that will be improved by researchers is Numeracy Literacy. The media that will be developed is Android-based media. Learning media is one of the most important learning resources (Kuswanto & Radiansah, 2018). The use of learning tools in a learning step in the classroom, especially to improve student achievement (Dewimarni dkk., 2022). Mathematical Numeracy Literacy plays a very important role in a person's life because it can make it easier for someone to understand the role or function of mathematics in their daily lives (Puspaningtyas & Ulfa, 2021). One of the branches of science that makes a nation successful and modern is the science that deals with data and/or numbers or better known as statistics (Silviani et al., 2021). Statistics has an important role in human life, statistics is widely used to predict phenomena that require conclusions based on data analysis (Jatisunda et al., 2020). This study aims to produce a valid, practical and effective android-based numeracy literacy-oriented learning media product on statistics material in junior high schools. The benefits of this study are to improve students' numeracy literacy skills in statistics material. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Malang. The results of this study indicate that the numeracy literacy skills of class VIII students have increased. Based on the results of the analysis of the effectiveness of learning media obtained from the pretest and posttest results, the results were quite effective with the n-gain criteria being moderate. As for the validity of the learning media, the results of validation from media experts and material experts were obtained. For the results of the media expert validation, the assessment was valid. As for the results of the material expert validation, the assessment was quite valid. For the results of practicality taken from the student response questionnaire, the assessment from students was very practical

SINERGITAS PEMERINTAH BERSAMA ORMAS ISLAM DALAM MEWUJUDKAN DEMOKRATISASI

Community organizations are a place for people to gather and achieve the goals of the community group. There are various types of mass organizations in Indonesia which until 2024 numbered more than 512 thousand mass organizations, one of which is an Islamic mass organization that has even existed before Indonesia succeeded in achieving independence. Islamic mass organizations have played an important role in supporting democratization in Indonesia, with a large number of organizations and accompanied by a large number of members, Islamic mass organizations are considered to have made various contributions in building the nation both independently and in synergy with the government both at the central and regional levels. The research aimed at reviewing the synergy between the government and Islamic mass organizations in the context of democratization was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method in which the need to fulfill information was obtained through interviews, documentation and observation at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the period from August to September 2023. Based on the results of the study, it is known that society through Islamic mass organizations has made various contributions as stated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 58 of 2017 concerning Government Cooperation with Community Organizations which focuses on politics and general government. The synergy is carried out by emphasizing a number of aspects such as strengthening diversity and social restoration, election security stability, and a number of other activities in the scope of politics and general government. However, of course, in synergizing, the government sets a number of fairly strict criteria to maintain the sustainability of the synergy between the government and Islamic mass organizations as stated in Article 15 of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 58 of 201

UNCOVERING THE CHALLENGES OF ESP TEACHING IN REFRIGERATION AND AIR-CONDITIONING PROGRAM

The number of international job opportunities in refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) is not directly proportional to the number of competent technicians in Indonesia. It cannot be separated from the limited number of polytechnics that provide RAC programs. Unfortunately, not all existing polytechnics offer English for Specific Purposes (ESP), only one polytechnic. So, the need for ESP in this field has not been met to produce graduates who are competent in English. It creates limited ESP resources, both ESP teachers and ESP materials. This limitation is assumed to provide various challenges to ESP teaching in the RAC program. For this reason, this research tried to investigate the challenges of ESP teaching in the RAC program and how the ESP teacher dealt with these challenges. This study used observation, interview, and document to comprehensively explore challenges in ESP teaching in the RAC program from three aspects (the teacher, the students, and the institution). The findings showed the challenges were categorized into three: challenges from the teacher (lack of content knowledge and lack of proper need analysis), challenges from the students (lack of basic English skills, lack of content knowledge, low learning motivation, lack of presentation skills, and classroom misbehavior), and challenges from the institution (ESP curriculum, long learning duration, and lack of teacher training). Thus, Institutions must take part in preparing ESP courses, both teachers and materials, by facilitating teachers with sufficient ESP teacher training

ENGLISH EXPRESSIONS USED IN “COUNTER-STRIKE 2” GAME’S ONLINE CHAT: SEMANTIC ANALYSIS

Online gaming has become a part of almost everyone on the internet, providing entertainment to people who loves playing video games with other people across the globe. Counter Strike 2 is one of online games that needs communication in order to coordinate with teammate effectively, yet there are some English expressions that normal people don’t use in their real life, making it difficult for new players to understand the experienced players are saying. This research’s goal was to interpret the meaning of the written English expressions used in the text chat and also to differentiate what kind of expressions used by the player to communicate, the method used was qualitative descriptive analysis, therefore the semantic approach was needed to carry out the research. The researcher found that the majority of the player used jargons frequently among other English expression, the reason was due to the simplicity and effectively saving time to type in the chat, hence the player could focus more on the game

EDUKASI POLA HIDUP SEHAT MELALUI MEDIA SOSIAL TIKTOK BAGI MAHASISWA (Analisis Resepsi Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi UMM pada Akun Tiktok @Tirtacipeng)

In the era of rapid technological development, TikTok was initially known as an entertainment platform that allowed users to share short videos with various creative expressions. However, TikTok has now become one of the most popular social media platforms among young people for seeking various types of information. Dr. Tirta, as one of the influencers, utilizes TikTok to upload content that includes various health information. Students often face challenges in maintaining a healthy lifestyle due to busy schedules and high academic demands. Therefore, it is important to examine how students respond to healthy lifestyle video content presented by Dr. Tirta on TikTok to understand how UMM Communication Science students interpret media messages. This research uses reception analysis, an approach in communication theory that examines how audiences receive and interpret messages. This communication is based on the encoding and decoding concept developed by Stuart Hall. This analysis identifies three reading positions: dominant, negotiation, and opposition, to understand how students respond to the healthy lifestyle video content uploaded by Dr. Tirta on TikTok. This study uses a qualitative approach with an interpretative research type and reception study methods using Stuart Hall's encoding and decoding model. Data collection in this study was carried out through focus group discussions. Data validity testing used triangulation, which combines methods and data sources. The results of this study show that six UMM Communication Science students occupy a dominant hegemony position, demonstrating consistent tendencies with all aspects of the message conveyed by the encoder. One student is in a negotiation position, accepting part of the message and then modifying it themselves. Meanwhile, one other student is in an opposition position, rejecting the entire message conveyed. UMM Communication Science students form meanings based on their knowledge and experiences, such as personal background, family, friends, social media, and academic environment

PERENCANAAN PENAMBAHAN TINGGI TANGGUL DALAM MENGATASI LUAPAN LUMPUR LAPINDO SIDOARJO JAWA TIMUR

The Lapindo Mudflow that occurred in 2006 resulted in the construction of embankments around the area to prevent the mudflow from spreading to the surrounding area. Because the function of the embankment is very important to hold back mud, the design and durability of the embankment is planned with an embankment area reaching 5.58 km2. Estimated storage volumes for the next few years are used to prepare for raising the embankment and also the strength of the embankment in the next few years. The method used to design the embankment is to use appropriate data first, including soil data, rainfall data and temperature data in the area. as a consideration in calculating the estimated mud volume for embankment design assisted by Geostudio software. The embankment planning for 2040 after going through calculations has a storage volume of 67,989,000.00 m3 with a planned storage volume height of 12.18 m with a standard guard height of 0.60 m from the mud surface and an embankment width of 5m with an inspection road. Taking into account the normal stability value on the outside of 1.606 > 1.5 and on the inside of the embankment 2.369 > 1.5, the safety factor is considered adequate, and the seepage discharge is smaller than the planned seepage discharge with a calculated value of 6.6 x 10-4 m3/s < 2.175 m3/s. From the results of the stability and seepage discharge calculations, suitable results were obtained and the embankment planning was considered satisfactor
