Reference data for hexafluorobenzene-CO cluster
The dataset contains the experimental fit for the observed conformer of the C6F6–CO complex, obtained using the SPFIT/SPCAT programs from rotational spectra measured in the microwave region. The experimentally detected conformer exhibits a symmetric-top rotational behaviour. In addition, the dataset includes harmonic frequency calculations performed with Gaussian16 for the two stable conformers predicted for the C6F6-CO complex, together with the harmonic frequency calculation for the benzene–CO complex. These systems represent prototypical weakly bound aromatic–carbon monoxide aggregates, whose structural and dynamical properties are governed by intermolecular interactions and molecular symmetry effects
Quantitative data on immune cell infiltration (T lymphocytes, B lymphocytes, and macrophages) in canine soft tissue sarcomas.
the dataset contains the quantitative data regarding immune cell infiltration in a case series of canine soft tissue sarcoma. Immune cells were quantified by immunohistochemistry followed by image analysis on digitalised sections. Markers used to detect immune cells were: CD20 (B cells), CD3 (T cells), FOXP3, (Treg cells), Iba-1 (macrophages), CD204 (M2-like macrophages). For each case the age, breed and sex of the affected animal were also collected. Histological variables included in the datasets are the specific diagnosis (sarcoma type), mitotic count, histological grade
Hospitalized horses dataset: antimicrobial stewardship and AMR colonization
This dataset supports a clinical audit evaluating antimicrobial stewardship program (ASPs) in a Veterinary Teaching Hospital, focusing on antimicrobial-resistant bacteria (AMRb) colonization rates (CR) in horses under the One Health approach. Nasal and rectal swabs from 328 hospitalized horses (foals and adults) across two audit cycles:
- A1 (Jan-Jul 2022);
- A2 (Jan-Jul 2023): after ASP implementation about antimicrobial use (AMU) and biosecurity policy.
Swabs were collected at admission/birth (T0) and discharge/euthanasia/death (T1); tested for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococci (MRS), 3rd-generation Cephalosporin-resistant Gram-Negative Bacteria (3GCR-GNB), and Carbapenem-resistant Gram-Negative Bacteria (CR-GNB)
Vantaggi e riflessi di un approccio Soft-Ethics al ricorso all’IA nel contrasto al Climate Change
[Advantages and Implications of a Soft-Ethics Approach to Artificial Intelligence in the Fight against Climate Change] AI studies can be enhanced from a meta-ethical perspective, choosing as the privileged field of analysis the fundamental principles and the moral theories that configure deontic categories or, alternatively, through a legal-philosophical investigation applied “to scenarios of living” and directed towards new boundaries between ethics and law. This essay aims to focus on the role of Artificial Intelligence in relation to climate change and, in particular, on the potential epistemic and practical advantages that stem from a soft-ethics approach to the use of techno-scientific devices in the fight against climate change. A relevant methodological premise for the analysis starts from the interaction between an interdisciplinary scientific understanding of climate disruption and a rights-based approach. The article also intends to highlight how the rethinking of measures to combat climate change can be the basis for policy choices aimed at promoting the social value of AI systems. In this regard, the text will delve into a bio- ethical reading of AI and its implications for philosophical and legal discourse, specifically by examining the potential transition from a vision based on “climate law” to the idea of the relevance of legal subjects

University Guidelines for Research Data Management
These guidelines complement the University Policy on Research Data Management, which sets out criteria and principles to be followed in order to handle data correctly and with care, in line with international standards and disciplinary specificities.
The guidelines are accompanied by a series of information sheets focusing on specific topics.
The target audience of this document is all researchers at the University of Bologna, at any stage of their career and in any discipline.
This is a second version of the guidelines, revised to incorporate an updated translation
Data on the Effects of Seminal Plasma Extracellular Vesicle Supplementation on Frozen–Thawed Boar Semen and In Vitro Fertilization Outcomes
Considering the molecular damage caused by cryopreservation to boar spermatozoa and the fact that seminal extracellular vesicles (EVs) are thought to be key modulators of sperm physiology; the effects of different EVs subpopulations on sperm quality and IVF outcomes were evaluated after co-incubation with frozen-thawed semen
Experimental dataset on the effects of end-of-day and continuous far-red on vegetative and flower induction in Cannabis sativa
This dataset presents experimental data derived during an experiment to evaluate the effects of end-of-day (EOD) and continuous far-red (FR) light on vegetative growth and flower induction in Cannabis sativa L. under controlled environment conditions. The experiment compared three lighting strategies, a red-blue spectrum (RB) as control, red and blue plus continuous far-red supplementation, and red-blue with far-red applied only during the final hour of the light period—during the transition from vegetative to reproductive stages. The dataset documents morphological, physiological, and phenological responses of 36 plants, including canopy development, fresh and dry biomass, multispectral reflectance indices, energy parameters, and flowering progression. Results show that both EOD and continuous FR promoted greater canopy elongation compared to RB, with a shift in biomass allocation favoring leaf development. Far-red treatments also enhanced chlorophyll accumulation, indicating improved photosynthetic efficiency, while flower induction timing remained unaffected across treatments. Overall, this dataset provides a comprehensive quantitative foundation to assess how light spectrum modulation—particularly the timing of far-red exposure—shapes plant architecture and physiological performance in Cannabis sativa
