    This is volume two of a two set volume of the title Traité élémentaire de chimie. The binding is a quarter leather binding with textured black paper covering the boards. The covers are laced to the text block on three recessed cords. Overall, the book is in good condition. The leather shows signs of wear with minor abrasion and delamination on the endcaps and outer joints.     This is a collection of advertising cards, leaflets and flyers from 19th century Cincinnati businesses. The collection advertisements are housed within a large scrapbook. The scrapbook is a dark green Buckram encapsulated binding. The advertisements are fully encapsulated within the binding, and the polyester film pages are held into the binding with four metal posts.     This is a small poster containing a penmanship sample. It was presented to the Lab for repair and housing. It had been stored folded for many years; one quadrant was detached along the fold, and the remaning quadrants were beginning to break at their folded lines. A second quadrant detached during handling.     The life of the Thrice Noble, High and Puissant Prince William Cavendishe, Duke, Marquess, and Earl of Newcastle is a full leather binding printed in London by A. Maxwell in 1667. The full sprinkled leather binding is tightback laced case over five raised cords. The covers show no tooling decoration. The spine is gilt tooled, along with the stamped title on a red leather adhered to the spine.     This is a vellum half folio from a medieval manuscript entitled Breviary, according to the dealer’s catalog. It came to the Lab housed, yet unattached or supported, in a double window matting system with a decorative gold border on the recto. This matting system is hinged together with a shiny, white tape and has graphite inscriptions of the mat measurements, along with a vendor label (“Charles Edwin Puckett”) adhered to the inside of the mat. No treatment is needed at this time; however, a more supportive and protective matting system is needed for future exhibition and long-term storage of this half folio.View Catalog Record: http://uclid.uc.edu/record=b799755
