SISTEMA RETÓRICO

The indigenous cause gained national repercussion in mid-2023 when the bill entitled “Indigenous Temporal Framework” was voted on in the Chamber of Deputies, which proposed the demarcation of lands belonging to original Brazilian peoples. There were many demonstrations for and against the promulgation of the infamous law, as it was a controversial issue that involved audiences divided between economic and political interests, and social and cultural interests. Based on this scenario and seeking to reflect on inequality in the country and the segregation of a portion of the Brazilian population, we chose as the object of analysis for this work the article published on the Gente de Opinião portal “Marco Temporal Indígena – Tempo do Genocídio”, which was released in defense of the indigenous cause. We seek, based on the postulates of Aristotelian Rhetoric, to investigate the argumentative devices used by the authors of the aforementioned text with a view to persuasion. We took a look at the theory and dedicated ourselves to studying the application of the Rhetorical System by speech speakers, more precisely the dispositio part, in which the arguments are organized in order to structure the argument. The reflections from this analysis show that the use of logical resources, associated with passionate arguments, can be beneficial for the persuasive intent of the text. This work is anchored in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 10, proposed by the United Nations in 2015. SDG 10 (Reduced inequalities) aims to reduce inequalities within countries and between countries.   KEYWORDS: Rhetoric; Rhetorical System; Device; Indigenous Temporal Framework.A causa indígena ganhou repercussão nacional em meados de 2023 quando foi para votação na Câmara dos Deputados o projeto de lei intitulado “Marco Temporal Indígena”, o qual propunha a demarcação das terras pertencentes aos povos originários brasileiros. Muitas foram as manifesstações pró e contra a promulgação da famigerada lei, pois tratava-se de uma questão polêmica que envolvia auditórios divididos entre interesses econônimcos e políticos, e interesses sociais e culturais. A partir desse cenário e buscando refletir sobre a desigualdade no país e a segregação de uma parcela da população brasileira, escolhemos como objeto de análise para este trabalho o artigo publicado no portal Gente de Opinião “Marco Temporal Indígena – Tempo do Genocídio”, que saiu em defesa da causa indígena. Buscamos, com base nos postulados da Retórica Aristotélica, investigar os expedientes argumentativos empregados pelos autores do referido texto com vistas à persuasão. Fizemos um recorte na teoria e nos dedicamos ao estudo da aplicação do Sistema Retórico pelo oradores do discurso, mais precisamente à parte da dispositio, na qual os argumentos são organizados de modo a estruturar a argumentação. As reflexões dessa análise mostram que o uso de recursos lógicos, associados a argumentos passionais, pode ser profícuo para o intento persuasivo do texto. Este trabalho está ancorado no Objetivo do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) de número 10, proposto pela Organização das Nações Unidas em 2015. A IDENTIDADE PROFISSIONAL DO COORDENADOR DE CURSO EM FACULDADES DE TECNOLOGIA: ENTRE O FORMAL E O EXERCÍCIO DA GESTÃO

  This article analyzes the construction of the professional identity of course coordinators at Colleges of Technology within the context of Vocacional and Technological Education. Considering the coordinator as a mediating agent between institutional policies, the teaching staff, and student demands, the study investigates the extent to which institutional documents — especially internal regulations and Pedagogical Course Projects (PPCs) — formally define their professional identity. The research adopts a qualitative approach based on Bardin’s (2016) content analysis, involving the reading and categorization of normative documents and interviews with six course coordinators from a public institution in the state of São Paulo. The theoretical framework draws on authors such as Hall (2003a, 2003b), Dubar (2009), Placco and Almeida (2015), and Libâneo (2015), who conceive identity as a dynamic, socially constructed process, shaped by tensions between what is prescribed and what is experienced. The results reveal that the coordination role is characterized by identity ambiguity, resulting from the predominance of administrative tasks and the lack of specific training for pedagogical management. Although institutional documents emphasize technical expertise as a requirement for the position, the interviews highlight that relational, communicative, and formative competencies are central to its effective performance. The study concludes that the identity of course coordinators in Vocacional and Technological Education takes on a hybrid form — between the technical and the pedagogical, the manager and the educator — thus requiring institutional policies that acknowledge its formative dimension and adequately prepare coordinators for educational leadership.O presente artigo analisa a construção da identidade profissional do coordenador de curso em Faculdades de Tecnologia, no âmbito da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT). Considerando o coordenador como agente mediador entre políticas institucionais, corpo docente e demandas discentes, o estudo investiga em que medida os documentos institucionais — especialmente regulamentos internos e Projetos Pedagógicos de Curso (PPCs) — definem formalmente sua identidade profissional. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada na análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2016), envolvendo a leitura e categorização de documentos normativos e entrevistas com seis coordenadores de curso de uma instituição pública paulista. O referencial teórico dialoga com autores como Hall (2003a, 2003b), Dubar (2009), Placco e Almeida (2015) e Libâneo (2015), que compreendem a identidade como um processo dinâmico, socialmente construído e atravessado por tensões entre o prescrito e o vivido. Os resultados revelam que a função de coordenação é marcada por ambiguidade identitária, decorrente do predomínio de tarefas administrativas e da ausência de formação específica para a gestão pedagógica. Embora os documentos enfatizem a expertise técnica como critério para o cargo, as entrevistas evidenciam que as competências relacionais, comunicativas e formativas são centrais para o desempenho da função. Conclui-se que a identidade do coordenador de curso na EPT se configura de modo híbrido — entre o técnico e o pedagógico, o gestor e o educador —, demandando políticas institucionais que reconheçam sua dimensão formadora e o preparem adequadamente para o exercício da gestão educacional

RESTOS DE HORROR

This text is a review of the book Restos de horror (2022), edited by Amanda Scherer, Dantielli Garcia, Fábio Ramos Barbosa Filho, Lauro Baldini, and Lucília Abrahão e Sousa. Using Discourse Analysis as its primary theoretical framework—in dialogue with various fields of knowledge such as history, psychoanalysis, and literature—the book focuses on the relationship within what are termed 'remnants of horror.' these remnants enable a discussion on archives, mourning, testimony, and memory. It is worth noting that the specific conditions of production coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, which influenced several articles in the collection. My objective, therefore, is to comment on and highlight the main points of the texts that comprise this book. Tendo como principal base teórica a análise do discurso em contato com diversos campos do saber, como por exemplo, a história, a psicanálise, a literatura etc, o livro enfoca na relação nos denominados “restos de horror”. Estes permitem uma discussão sobre arquivo, luto, testemunho e memória. Ressalto que o fato das condições específicas de produção atravessarem o período de pandemia da COVID-19, isto produz efeitos em diversos artigos do livro. O NEGACIONISMO CLIMÁTICO NO BRASIL

This research intends to analyze an interview by Ricardo Felício, on the Programa do Jô, in 2012. In this interview, the professor at USP talks about “the global warming swindle” and comments on the subject, raising the discourse of climate change denial. Having this interview as the corpus, the objective of the article is to understand how Ricardo Felício's discourse is constituted in relation to the scientific discourse on climate change and global warming, and to answer the following questions: 1. How does the discourse about global warming in the scientific sphere is constituted in relation to other discursive spheres?; 2. What is the importance of the intonation and the evaluation in Ricardo Felício's speech in relation to its other?; 3. How Ricardo Felicio's speech manifest its pseudoscientific aspects? To understand this subject, this research derives from the Dialogical Discourse Analysis, based on Bakhtin, Volóchinov and their commentators in Brazil. It is concluded that Ricardo Felício's discourse can be understood as pseudoscientific, however, to understand the discourse of climate denialism, it is necessary to go beyond the scientific sphere, understanding that this discourse constitutes a "fabricated scientific controversy", being based on and gaining popularity through extra-scientific elements, that is, from other spheres, such as politics, economics, journalism.Esta pesquisa pretende analisar uma entrevista de Ricardo Felício, no Programa do Jô, do ano de 2012. Nesta entrevista, o professor da USP fala sobre “a farsa do aquecimento global” e comenta sobre o tema, suscitando o discurso do negacionismo climático. Tendo essa entrevista como corpus, o objetivo do artigo é entender como o discurso de Ricardo Felício se constitui na relação com o discurso científico sobre mudanças climáticas e o aquecimento global e responder às seguintes questões: 1. Como o discurso sobre o aquecimento global na esfera científica se constitui em relação a outras esferas discursivas?; 2. Qual a importância da entonação e da avaliação no discurso de Ricardo Felício na  relação com seu outro?; 3. Como o discurso de Ricardo Felício manifesta seu aspecto pseudocientífico? Para compreender este tema, esta pesquisa parte da Análise Dialógica do Discurso, baseando-se em Bakhtin, Volóchinov e seus comentadores no Brasil. Conclui-se que o discurso de Ricardo Felício pode ser entendido como pseudocientífico, no entanto, para compreender o discurso do negacionismo climático, é necessário ir além da esfera científica, entendendo que esse discurso constitui uma “controvérsia científica fabricada”, fundamentando-se e ganhando popularidade pelos elementos extracientíficos, ou seja, de outras esferas, como a política, econômica, jornalística

O PERFIL DE LETRAMENTO ACADÊMICO NO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA: A ESCRITA DE GÊNEROS

Researching academic literacy in the university environment means coming across discoveries that can affect the work of teacher educators and students in training. With this study, we seek to understand what type of written production is most present in the practice of academic literacy in the Pedagogy course. Thus, the problem of our study consists of: what is the most required academic written production in the Pedagogy course at the Federal University of Piauí? The general objective of this proposal is to analyze the profile of academic literacy, writing of textual genres, in the university environment, in the Pedagogy course. Our specific objectives are: to identify the academic textual genres most required by teachers in the context of Pedagogy training; and to reflect on the role of the disciplines in training courses regarding the academic literacy of students. The research is qualitative, of the collaborative type, using a seven-question questionnaire on academic literacy applied via Google Forms as data collection. The result points to a restricted domain of academic textual genres, with critical reviews, simple summaries, experience reports and expanded summaries being the texts identified as those with which students are most familiar.Pesquisar o letramento acadêmico no âmbito universitário é se deparar com descobertas que podem afetar o trabalho do professor formador e dos alunos em formação. Buscamos, com este estudo, entender qual o tipo de produção escrita mais presente na prática de letramento acadêmico no curso de Pedagogia. Dessa maneira, o problema de nosso estudo consiste em: qual a produção escrita acadêmica mais cobrada no curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Piauí? É objetivo geral dessa proposta: analisar o perfil de letramento acadêmico, escrita de gêneros textuais, no âmbito universitário, no curso de Pedagogia. São nossos objetivos específicos: identificar o(s) gêneros textuais acadêmicos mais cobrados pelos professores no âmbito da formação em Pedagogia; e refletir sobre o papel das disciplinas nos cursos de formação quanto ao letramento acadêmico dos alunos. A pesquisa é qualitativa, do tipo colaborativa, sendo usado como coleta de dados um questionário de sete questões sobre letramento acadêmico aplicado via Google Forms. O resultado aponta para um domínio restrito de gêneros textuais acadêmicos, sendo a resenha crítica, resumo simples, relato de experiência e resumo expandido os textos apontados como os que os estudantes tem mais familiaridade. &nbsp

ENTRE O PECADO ORIGINAL E A VIRTUDE IMPOSTA: UMA ANÁLISE DISCURSIVA

This article, an excerpt from the dissertation presented to the Postgraduate Program in Letters at the State University of Paraná (UNIOESTE), as a requirement for obtaining a Master's Degree in Letters, carries out an analysis, based on materialist Discourse Analysis, of some posts on the instagram page (Fé)ministras, which deal with women's bodies in religion, establishing connections with biblical texts, religious discourse and Feminist Theology. In this section, we selected some materialities that thematize the female body based on the hegemony of the male in religion, which carries a memory of what it is to be a woman in the religious environment. The figure of Eve and the representations of women in Christianity have historically been used to legitimize a patriarchal structure of control and submission of the female body. The corpus shows how conservative religious discourse is anchored in a discursive memory that associates women with original sin, reinforcing standards of purity, modesty and subordination. However, through other discourses, these crystallized meanings are tensioned and an attempt is made to re-signify the role of women in spaces of faith.Este artigo, recorte da dissertação apresentada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras da Universidade Estadual do Paraná (UNIOESTE), como requisito para a obtenção do título de Mestre em Letras[1], realiza uma análise, a partir da Análise de Discurso materialista, sobre algumas postagens presentes na página do instagram (Fé)ministras, que abordam o corpo da mulher na religião, estabelecendo conexões com textos bíblicos, o discurso religioso e a Teologia Feminista. Neste recorte, foram selecionadas algumas materialidades que tematizam o corpo feminino a partir da hegemonia do masculino na religião, que carrega uma memória do que é ser mulher no ambiente religioso. A figura de Eva e as representações da mulher no cristianismo têm sido historicamente instrumentalizadas para legitimar uma estrutura patriarcal de controle e submissão do corpo feminino. O corpus apresenta como o discurso religioso conservador ancora-se em uma memória discursiva que associa a mulher ao pecado original, reforçando padrões de pureza, recato e subordinação. No entanto, por meio de dizeres outros, esses sentidos cristalizados são tensionados e apresenta-se uma tentativa de ressignificação do papel da mulher nos espaços de fé.   [1]  MOI, Aline Fatima. O O CORPO COMO TEXTO: UMA NARRATIVA MIDIÁTICA DAS PESSOAS COM DEFICIÊNCIA NA MODA E ESPORTE PARALÍMPICO

This article addresses a relevant topic by analyzing discursive representations of the body with disabilities, contributing to studies on corporeality, media representation, and inclusion—especially by questioning aesthetic normativity and the power mechanisms that permeate these fields. It offers reflections on how media and fashion construct narratives about non-normative bodies. The study analyzes discursive representations of the non-normative body in Paralympic sports and fashion, based on Foucault’s Discourse Analysis. The investigation assumes that media and fashion discourses enable certain bodies to be visible while silencing others, particularly bodies of people with disabilities. The methodology involved theoretical and literary research on Discourse Analysis, the Body, Inclusive Fashion, Media, and an analysis of media materials related to the 2024 Paralympics. From the selected corpus, the study examines statements that frame Paralympic bodies as subjects, observing how media coverage privileges narratives of individual overcoming—representing disabled athletes as "heroes" or "exceptions"—while relegating others to invisibility. The selection of images and models in campaigns reflects a symbolic economy of presences and absences that perpetuates bodily hierarchies. This research aims to contribute to the fields of language and fashion, as well as to the important studies on people with disabilities, by proposing a critical perspective on representation and inclusion in media and fashion discourses.  O presente artigo trata de um tema relevante ao analisar as representações discursivas do corpo com deficiência, contribuindo nos estudos sobre corporeidade, representatividade midiática e inclusão, especialmente ao problematizar a normatividade estética e os mecanismos de poder que permeiam esses campos, propondo reflexões pertinentes sobre como a mídia e a moda constroem narrativas sobre o corpo disforme. O estudo analisa as representações discursivas do corpo disforme no esporte paralímpico e na moda, com base na Análise do Discurso foucaultiana. A investigação parte do pressuposto de que os discursos midiáticos e da moda, viabilizarem determinados corpos e silenciam outros, quando se trata de corpos de pessoas com deficiência. A metodologia utilizada foi de pesquisa em referencial teórico e literário das Teorias em Análise de Discurso, Corpo, Moda Inclusiva, Mídia e análise de materiais na mídia sobre as Paraolimpíadas de 2024. A partir do corpus constituído, o estudo examina os enunciados que configuram os corpos paralímpicos como sujeitos, observando que a veiculação midiática privilegia narrativas que enfatizam a superação individual, inserindo os atletas com deficiência em uma gramática discursiva que os representa como "heróis" ou "exceções", enquanto relega outros à invisibilidade. A seleção das imagens e dos modelos utilizados nas campanhas reflete uma economia simbólica de presenças e ausências que perpetua hierarquias corporais. A FORÇA PERFORMATIVA DO DISCURSO MÉDICO NO TRATAMENTO DE MULHERES NEGRAS

To write this article, we selected a case of racism committed by a Brazilian gynecologist that was reported in the press in Brazil, in June 2023. Focusing on the accused's statements presented during the hearing, as published by Fantástico (2023), and treating this excerpt as part of a dialogic sequence (Rajagopalan, 2019) in our corpus, we aim to examine the performative force of medical speech concerning the health of Black women. To this end, we adopt a theoretical perspective based in (New) Pragmatics, especially the works of Rajagopalan (2019), Butler (2021), and Vallada and Pinto (2023). Through our analysis, we understand that the illocutionary acts (Austin, 1990) produced through the physician’s speech are directed towards defending herself against allegations of racist behavior in her practice. Furthermore, the linguistic ritual failures in the testimony excerpts reveal that the professional's statements classifies, in racist conduct, all black people as subjects who have a very strong odor, which points to the ambiguity of the speech acts mobilized. Keywords: offensive statements; speech act; racism; Black women.Para a escrita deste artigo, selecionamos o caso de racismo cometido por uma ginecologista brasileira e divulgado jornalisticamente, no Brasil, em junho de 2023. Recortando a publicação das alegações da acusada no trecho da audiência publicado pelo Fantástico (2023) enquanto sequência dialógica (Rajagopalan, 2019) constituinte do corpus de análise, objetivamos analisar a força performativa da fala médica sobre a saúde de mulheres negras. Para tanto, filiamo-nos à perspectiva teórica da (Nova) Pragmática, sobretudo aos pressupostos de autorias como Rajagopalan (2019), Butler (2021) e Vallada e Pinto (2023). Por meio da análise, compreendemos que os atos ilocucionários (Austin, 1990), produzidos pelo dizer, pautam-se na defesa da médica das acusações de que houve racismo em seu atendimento. Para além disso, pelas falhas no ritual linguístico, nos trechos de depoimento divulgado, entendemos que a reprodução das afirmações da profissional classifica, em uma conduta racista, todas as pessoas negras como sujeitos que possuem um odor muito forte, o que aponta para a ambiguidade dos atos de fala mobilizados. FELICIDADE E DEPRESSÃO EM DISCURSO: A NARRATIVIDADE DO CORPO, DOS SINTOMAS E DOS AFETOS NA ANIMAÇÃO HAPPINESS

This article analyzes the meanings of happiness and depression in Steve Cutts' animated film Happiness, from the perspectives of Discourse Analysis and Psychoanalysis. The authors investigate how neoliberal capitalism establishes meanings for the body and suffering, linking personal fulfillment to unbridled consumption and professional performance. The work is used to demonstrate the detachment from social bonds and the replacement of subjective relationships with relationships between objects. The study discusses how the imperative of constant happiness pathologizes sadness, transforming depression into a social symptom resulting from failure to meet the demands of a system that alienates the subject from their singularity and temporality. Finally, it proposes that psychoanalytic listening acts as an ethical and political gesture capable of welcoming psychic suffering in opposition to the mercantile logic of medicalization and silencing of subjective contradictions.          O artigo analisa os sentidos para a felicidade e a depressão na animação Happiness, de Steve Cutts, sob as perspectivas da Análise de Discurso e da Psicanálise. Os autores investigam como o capitalismo neoliberal institui sentidos para o corpo e o sofrimento, vinculando a realização pessoal ao consumo desenfreado e à performance profissional. A obra é utilizada para demonstrar a desvinculação dos laços sociais e a substituição das relações subjetivas por relações entre objetos. O estudo discute como o imperativo da felicidade constante patologiza a tristeza, transformando a depressão em um sintoma social decorrente do fracasso frente às demandas de um sistema que aliena o sujeito de sua singularidade e temporalidade. Por fim, propõe-se que a escuta psicanalítica atua como um gesto ético e político capaz de acolher o sofrimento psíquico na contramão da lógica mercantil de medicalização e silenciamento das contradições subjetivas

A INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL GENERATIVA E A GERAÇÃO DE VIESES NA INTERAÇÃO HUMANO-MÁQUINA: UMA ABORDAGEM DIALÓGICA

The growing integration of generative artificial intelligences (GAIs) into daily life has intensified the debate on algorithmic biases, which are often approached from a technical standpoint. However, this article is based on the premise that bias is not a static attribute of the technology, but a dynamic phenomenon forged in the dialogical interaction between user and system. To this end, the article demonstrates the user's role in this process by contrasting, through a qualitative analysis of real interactions, a prompt drafted without critical mediation with a prompt informed by a perspective of critical literacy in GAI. The results reveal that the quality of the command-utterance is decisive: while the former generates responses that reinforce idealized and biased views, the latter echoes a more complex and ethically conscious reflection by inserting divergent voices into the generated text. It is concluded that the mitigation of biases in GAIs transcends technical optimization, requiring a pedagogical approach focused on developing the user's critical and dialogical competence.A crescente integração de inteligências artificiais generativas (IAGs) no cotidiano tem intensificado o debate sobre vieses algorítmicos, frequentemente abordados sob uma ótica técnica. Contudo, este artigo parte da premissa de que o viés não é um atributo estático da tecnologia, mas um fenômeno dinâmico, forjado na interação dialógica entre usuário e sistema. Para tanto, o artigo demonstra o papel do usuário nesse processo ao contrapor, por meio de uma análise qualitativa de interações reais, um prompt elaborado sem mediação crítica a um prompt informado por uma perspectiva de literacia crítica em IAG. Os resultados revelam que a qualidade do enunciado-comando é determinante: enquanto o primeiro gera respostas que reforçam visões idealizadas e enviesadas, o segundo ecoa uma reflexão mais complexa e eticamente consciente, ao inserir vozes divergentes ao texto gerado. Conclui-se que a mitigação de vieses em IAGs transcende a otimização técnica, exigindo uma abordagem pedagógica focada no desenvolvimento da competência crítica e dialógica do usuário
