This study aims to obtain the formulation of Mono Potassium Phosphate (MKP) fertilizer and fermented rabbit solid manure at the most appropriate dose for the growth and production of chili plants. This research is a factorial experiment with a randomized block block design (RAK) with 2 factors being tried. In the first factor, MKP fertilizer consists of 3 levels: M 1 = 2 g.l-1 water, M 2 = 4 g.l-1 water, M 3 = 6 g.l-1 water,. The second factor is the dose of rabbit solid fertilizer with 3 levels: P 1 = 10 tons ha-1, P 2 = 20 tons ha-1, P 3 = 30 tons ha-1. The interaction between the application of MKP fertilizer (M) and fermented rabbit solid manure (P) had no significant effect (P³0.05) on all observed variables. The highest production per hectare of MKP fertilizer treatment was obtained at a dose of 6 g.l-1 water of 6.32 tons, significantly different from doses of 2 g.l-1 water and 4 g.l-1 water with a value of 5.36 tons and 5.43 tons, respectively.&nbsp

This study aims to determine the consumption, digestibility of feed nutrients that are given to support the activities of the Sumatran elephant at the Bali zoo, to determine the feeding duration and eating behavior of the Sumatran elephant at the Bali zoo. It has been carried out for 1 month at the Bali zoo, Singapadu Village, Sukawati, Gianyar. , Bali and at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Animal Feed, Udayana University. The method of collecting data on feeding time was carried out using the focal animal sampling method, namely the method of collecting behavioral observation data using four individual animals as objects of observation and using the technique of recording the behavior of these animals at certain time intervals. Consumption of feed nutrients can be determined by calculating the dry matter consumption per day times the nutrient content of the feed consumed. Nutrient digestibility can be determined by calculating the nutrients consumed minus the nutrients in the feces divided by the nutrients consumed. Nutrient content of feed can be known by proximate analysis. The observed variables were feeding behavior, duration of eating, nutrient consumption and nutrient digestibility.&nbsp

Manufacture of humus from plant residues

    Get PDF
Humus is a substance that is created from the decomposition of plant residues with the help of beneficial microorganisms (fungi and bacteria) present in the surface layer of soil, with a massive amorphous consistency, homogeneous and dark in color due to a large amount of carbon it contains, and which is essential to sustain the total soil ecosystem since it helps maintain available nutrients for the plants. The objectives achieved are the elaboration of organic humus from vegetable residues within the homes, to generate a product that contributes to the improvement of the soil, through the methodology of the surveys, favorable results were obtained for the realization of the organic humus, in the same way, it concludes that by elaborating organic humus, the plants have better growth and therefore it is an aid to the environment since through this technique we can reduce and apply the use of vegetable residues, which will become organic matter and reach to reduce pollution in all homes, contribute to the soil and restore the proper nutrients to obtain adequate fertilization without the increase of chemicals harmful to humans

    Get PDF
The type of delivery affects the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Mothers of Post-caesarean section have the risk of not giving exclusive breastfeeding to their babies because they feel uncomfortable. The pain felt by the mother will cause the mother to be reluctant to breastfeed her baby. This study aims to explore in-depth decision-making and breastfeeding support for primiparous mothers with a history of Caesarean Section in breastfeeding. The research design used in this research is a generic exploratory qualitative study. In this study, twelve mothers with a Caesarean section history were involved as research informants, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. This data collection was carried out in the working area of the Umbulharjo I Health Center in Yogyakarta City in March-June 2019 using a semi-structured interview. Research data were analyzed using thematic analysis using the approach from Creswell, J.W. The analysis results obtained two themes: decision-making and breastfeeding support. Husbands and parents are essential aspects in providing support for primiparous mothers. The mother's obstacles are low maternal autonomy, the mother's condition after Caesarean Section, the lack of milk production after Caesarean Section, and breast problems

    Get PDF
This research aimed to study the growth and productivity of kampung chicken fed with different protein level. Kampung chickens were randomly assigned to a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 10 replications. The treatments were Ration with 14% protein content (A),  Ration with 16% protein content (B), Ration with 18% protein content (C)  and Ration with 20% protein content (D). The variables observed were body weight, weight gain, consumption, FCR, digestibility, egg production, percentage of hatched eggs and income over feed. Data were analyzed by variance and if there was a significant difference between treatments (P<0.05), it was continued with Duncan's multiple distance test. The results showed that the protein level of the diet 18% significantly (P<0.05) increased weight gain, egg production, and better feed use efficiency. The provision of 20% protein gave the same effect (P>0.05) on growth, production. Income over feed costs tended to be lower in the protein level of the 20% than 18%.  It can be concluded that kampung chickens reared in enriched cages with a ration protein level of 18% and metabolic energy of 2850 kcal/kg showed the best performance in terms of growth, production, hatch percentage, and income over fee cost

The circular economy and environmental training as care of the common house

    Get PDF
The economy circular is a business model that is based on the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle) of natural resources, the industrial revolution has made companies create many products, which promote consumerism without awareness of the damage it generates to the "common house" due to environmental pollution. We have worked based on a descriptive-documentary methodology, applying the analysis and interpretation of content, it was limited to the review of articles published in digital magazines, located in databases such as Redalyc, Scopus, WOS, Latindex 2.0, among the results The challenge is for countries to implement strategies that achieve sustainable development, with a focus on the circular economy and care for the “common home”. Invest in technology, where the 3R methodology (reduce, reuse, recycle) could do that significantly improve the processes of the productive sectors. Implement laws in all countries that regulate the methods of production and treatment of waste from industries and provide incentives to those companies that promote sustainability in order to achieve sustainable development
