SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S EDUCATIONAL IDEALS: A PATHWAY TO HOLISTIC LEARNING IN INDIA
This research study examines Swami Vivekananda's educational ideas and their potential to promote holistic learning in India. Late 19th-century Indian philosopher and spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda stressed the importance of education in individual and social development. His teachings illuminate the holistic approach to education, which includes physical, mental, moral, and spiritual dimensions. This study analyzes Vivekananda's educational perspective using his writings and speeches. He promoted balanced body, mind, and spirit growth, as well as intellectual and character development. Vivekananda thought education should teach ethics, social responsibility, and knowledge. Education is self-realization and empowerment, according to Vivekananda. His belief that education may awaken people's divinity and help them succeed is discussed. A well-rounded education system evaluates Vivekananda's emphasis on practical learning, critical thinking, and scientific temper. The paper evaluates current India's Vivekananda educational concepts. Problems in Indian education include routine learning, a lack of morals, and academic attention. Per Vivekananda's advice, Indian education might become more holistic and balanced to help students thrive. Swami Vivekananda's educational philosophy may support complete learning in India, according to this study. His ideas can help India’s education system develop smart, moral, socially responsible, and spiritually awakened pupils
TEXTUAL PATRIARCHY: A CRITICAL STUDY OF MAJEED’S GIFT TO THE BRIDE
One of the key aspects of the paper is its interrogation of how patriarchal norms and religious ideologies intersect to censor and control women's behaviour and agency. Through a critical reading of "Tohfa-e-Dulhan," the paper seeks to unravel the ways in which women are depicted, restricted, and subjugated within the text, shedding light on the broader systems of oppression that operate within society. The analysis of "Tohfa-e-Dulhan" offers valuable insights into the intersection of patriarchal and religious hegemony within historical texts, particularly in the context of 19th-century India. By examining the socio-political and religious landscape of the time, the paper aims to uncover the underlying power dynamics and ideologies that shape the portrayal of women and their activities in the text. Furthermore, by contextualizing the text within its historical milieu, the paper provides a nuanced understanding of the socio-political forces at play during the 19th century in India. Overall, the paper offers a critical perspective on "Tohfa-e-Dulhan" and similar texts, highlighting the need for continued examination of the ways in which patriarchal and religious ideologies intersect to shape gender relations and perpetuate systems of oppression. Through this analysis, the paper contributes to ongoing conversations about gender, power, and representation in literature and society
LIBRARIES AS CATALYSTS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE: EMPOWERING MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES IN INDIA
Libraries have been accredited as knowledge and power centers, spanning social, economic, and educational divides. In the context of Indian society, libraries are assumed to be helpful in uplifting the weaker sections of the society, particularly Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Minority Communities (Kalyani, 2021). This is because these marginalized groups are bound to encounter systematic problems, such as deficiencies in quality education, information, and opportunities (Rao, 2020). They are centers for learning and development, literature, and thought that are open to the public with welcome and comradery for all. This source provides a way of accessing works, electronically based information, and training that is suitable for these populations (Nayar, 2019). For instance, the Digital Library program for the Marginalized has indeed helped reach out to tribals and others in far-flung areas. It has increased the availability of educational material in regional languages (Kumar, 2018). Likewise, the specialized library programs in the urban slum and rural areas involving SC and minority communities included skill enhancement, awareness, career, and vocational training (SET) workshops, employment workshops, women’s development, empowerment, and more. This has enhanced literacy levels, employment, and socioeconomic status for the people. Thus, by equalizing access to knowledge and information, libraries significantly transform the social setting by serving the ‘weaker’ sections of society and facilitating the development of the country and society in general (Bhatt, 2022). This abstract intends to focus on Libraries and their role in uplifting such sections of society in India, particularly concerning literacy, online access, and social justice. The full paper will provide more details on these themes as it will describe some of the ongoing practices in detail, examine current efforts, and provide strategic suggestions to enhance libraries impacting empowered SC, ST, and minority communities across the country

An Explorative Study on the Compensation Scenario among the Victims of Scheduled Tribes
In India, compensation for victims of various crimes is governed by a range of legal provisions and government schemes aimed at providing support and redressal to them. These compensation mechanisms vary depending on the type of crime, with specific schemes tailored for victims of crime, such as sexual assault, human trafficking, murder, rape and atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes etc. The compensation helps victims in transforming their lives while it also provides financial assistance, rehabilitation, and support services to the victims. The study's main aim is to identify the challenges and barriers faced by Scheduled Tribes in accessing and receiving compensation for crime victimization. A total 376 number of cases were registered during the year 2020 to 2022 in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh; 304 number of victims were interviewed for the study, and a total of 220 victims were received compensation. The census method was adopted for this research to cover the whole data for the in-depth study. The study found that out of the total respondents, 65 percent of the victims were received compensation amounts of up to 1,00,000 Rs, with the majority of these cases classified as simple hurt. While, 40 percent of the victims was received compensation within one year of the commission of crime. In addition, 60.7 percent of victims haven’t received compensation because of a lack of documents. The study will contribute valuable insights into the fields of criminology, victimology, social justice, and indigenous rights; providing a foundation for policy recommendations which aimed at addressing the specific needs and challenges faced by Scheduled Tribes in the context of victim compensation.

CONSUMER ATTITUDES AND PREFERENCES IN THE TRANSITION TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES
The global transition towards electric vehicles (EVs) has sparked significant interest in Kerala, a state at the forefront of India in e-mobility revolution. The study analyses consumer attitudes and preferences towards electric vehicles transition in Kerala, aiming to understand the factors influencing their willingness to transition from conventional engine vehicles. Through the surveys and interviews carried out in the study reveal that Kerala's consumers are enthusiastic about electric vehicles driven by concerns about environmental sustainability, fuel efficiency, and government incentives. However, range anxiety, high upfront costs, and charging infrastructure limitations remain significant barriers. The findings suggest that targeted interventions, such as investing in charging infrastructure, offering attractive financing options, and promoting awareness campaigns, can accelerate electric vehicles adoption in Kerala. This study contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in the context of sustainable transportation and informs policy and marketing strategies to facilitate a smoother transition to electric vehicles in the region
