    An Analysis of Educational Values in Surah An-Nisa: A Thematic Approach Through the Lens of Tafsir Ibn Kathir

    This study investigates the educational values embedded in Surah An-Nisa using a thematic approach (maudhū‘ī) and refers primarily to Tafsir Ibn Kathir as a classical exegetical source. The background of this research lies in the urgent need to reintegrate Qur’anic values into the contemporary education system, particularly in light of growing moral crises and the erosion of ethical standards among students. The study aims to explore how Surah An-Nisa, as a chapter rich in legal and social injunctions, contributes to the Islamic educational framework through the lens of classical interpretation. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, where data is collected from primary sources such as the Qur’an and Tafsir Ibn Kathir, alongside secondary sources including books, scholarly articles, and other relevant references on Islamic education. The analysis is conducted thematically by identifying verses that contain educational implications and interpreting them based on the exegetical insights of Ibn Kathir. The findings reveal that Surah An-Nisa offers a wide range of educational values such as justice, gender equity, family integrity, social responsibility, protection of vulnerable groups, and obedience to divine law. These values, as elaborated in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, serve not only as religious commandments but also as moral and social principles that can shape individual behavior and communal harmony.     Menggambar merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang disenangi anak-anak. Dalam kegiatan menggambar, baik menggambar ekspresi, menggambar ilustrasi maupun menggambar dekorasi dituntun untuk penguasaan keterampilan. Kemampuan menggambar dapat dilatih dengan berbagai metode latihan. Dalam latihan menggambar tentu dibutuhkan beberapa objek dasar yang dapat dimulai dari benda-benda geometris. Pada objek tersebut terdapat elemen-elemen dalam menggambar seperti garis, bidang, warna, bentuk, tekstur, komposisi, proporsi, serta teknik arsir gelap dan terang. Alat-alat dalam menggambar terdiri dari beberapa alat utama dan alat bantu antara lain: pensil gambar, penghapus, rautan pensil atau pisau, papan gambar/sket, penggaris (variasi ukuran dan bentuk), kain background (situasioal), lampu (bila diperlukan) dan kertas. Melalui metode diskusi siswa saling bertukar fikiran, pembelajaran menggambar dapat menumbuhkan jiwa seni dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif, yang memaparkan tentang peranan pembelajaran menggambar dalam metode diskusi di madrasah ibtidaiyah, yang memiliki pemahaman dan kesadaran dalam meningkatkan jiwa seni. Peran menggambar dalam metode diskusi yang disampaikan guru dalam pembelajaran berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan jiwa seni pada anak-anak. Melalui menggambar anak-anak dapat mengekspresikan ide-ide mereka melalui sebuah coretan pada kertas maupun media gambar yang menjadi sebuah bentuk gambar yang bernilai seni. &nbsp

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang konsep dasar ketalaksanaan lembaga pendidikan, fungsi ketatalaksanaan lembaga pendidikan, prosedur penataan ketatalaksanaan lembaga pendidikan, dan sistem informasi manajemen lembaga pendidikan. Ketatalaksanaan lembaga pendidikan merupakan proses pemanfaatan berbagai sumber, dimana ketatalaksanaan ini berkaitan erat dengan sistem informasi manajemen lembaga pendidikan yang berupa media untuk menyediakan sumber-sumber.     Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Anak Usia Dini Dalam Pembelajaran Sains Sederhana

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan gambaran umum kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini dalam pembelajaran sains sederhana, 2) mengidentifikasi perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis berdasarkan karakteristik gender dalam pembelajaran sains sederhana pada anak usia dini, dan 3) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini dalam pembelajaran sains sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitis. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Dharma Wanita Gentong, Kabupaten Ngawi, Jawa Timur dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak kelompok B (usia 5-6 tahun) di TK Dharma Wanita Gentong yang berjumlah 20 anak, terdiri dari 8 anak laki-laki dan 12 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi, dan catatan Lapangan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga komponen utama: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini dalam pembelajaran sains sederhana menunjukkan perkembangan yang positif dengan 65% anak berada pada kategori Berkembang, kemampuan membangun keterampilan dasar (observasi) menunjukkan perkembangan terbaik (95%), sedangkan kemampuan mengatur strategi dan taktik paling menantang (20%); 2) perbedaan gender untuk Anak perempuan lebih unggul dalam komunikasi dan ekspresi, sementara anak laki-laki lebih baik dalam aspek praktis dan manipulasi objek eksperimen,dan 3) faktor pendukung meliputi penggunaan bahan konkret, pertanyaan terbuka guru, waktu eksplorasi cukup, lingkungan kondusif, dan dukungan teman sebaya serta faktor penghambat mencakup keterbatasan waktu, jumlah anak per kelas besar, variasi bahan terbatas, teknik bertanya guru belum optimal, dan kurangnya dukungan orang tua

    Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia di Madrasah: Menyelaraskan Kompetensi Guru dengan Tujuan Institusi

    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen dalam Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di lembaga pendidikan Islam yang terletak di Purbalingga. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana langkah strategis yang diterapkan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Purbalingga untuk menyelaraskan pengembangan SDM guru dengan visi, misi, dan tujuan institusi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan pengelola lembaga pendidikan yang dipilih secara purposive: kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah, serta guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap enam langkah strategis, yaitu: (1) sosialisasi dan pemahaman visi‑misi oleh guru; (2) integrasi program pengembangan SDM berbasis asesmen kebutuhan; (3) penguatan kompetensi pedagogik, karakter Islami, dan literasi teknologi; (4) penyelarasan penilaian kinerja dengan indikator keberhasilan institusi; (5) penekanan keberlanjutan melalui siklus evaluasi dan monitoring digital; dan (6) dukungan kebijakan konsisten dalam dokumen perencanaan strategis dan anggaran. Implementasi keenam langkah ini terbukti membangun keselarasan strategis (strategic alignment), meningkatkan profesionalisme dan spiritualitas guru, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan karakter siswa. Temuan ini memperkaya kerangka Strategic Human Resource Development dengan menambahkan dimensi religius dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, sekaligus menghasilkan model konseptual enam langkah yang adaptif untuk madrasah.This study aims to analyze human resource management in an Islamic educational institution located in Purbalingga. It focuses on exploring the strategic steps employed by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Purbalingga to align teacher development with the school’s vision, mission, and goals. Using a qualitative case‐study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document review involving purposively selected school leaders: the principal, vice‐principal, and teaching and administrative staff. The findings reveal six strategic steps: (1) socialization and internalization of the vision and mission by teachers; (2) integration of HR development programs based on needs assessments; (3) strengthening pedagogical competence, Islamic character, and technological literacy; (4) alignment of performance appraisal with institutional success indicators; (5) emphasis on sustainability through digital evaluation and monitoring cycles; and (6) consistent policy support embedded in strategic planning and budgeting documents. The implementation of these steps successfully establishes strategic alignment, enhances teacher professionalism and spirituality, and contributes to improved teaching quality and student character development. These findings enrich the Strategic Human Resource Development framework by adding a religious dimension in the context of Islamic education and produce an adaptive six-step conceptual model for use in other madrasahs

    Strengthening Islamic Character Education in the Perspective of the Merdeka Curriculum

    The character crisis among today’s young generation has become a serious concern in the field of education, particularly within Islamic education. The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest educational policy in Indonesia, offers flexibility and a value-based approach that is considered promising for strengthening Islamic character education in schools. This study aims to explore and analyze the relationship between the Merdeka Curriculum and the reinforcement of Islamic character education, both conceptually and in practical implementation. This research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were collected through literature reviews of books, scientific journals, policy documents, and educational practice reports relevant to the topic. The analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically by linking Islamic educational theory with national curriculum policies. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum contains characteristics that support the internalization of Islamic values, such as differentiated learning, character-strengthening projects through the Pancasila Student Profile, and contextual space for religious values in the learning process. Best practices observed in Islamic-based schools show that teacher role modeling, religious routines, and parental collaboration play essential roles in shaping students' Islamic character.     Kisah Nabi Adam dan Relevansinya dengan Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

    Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam kisah Nabi Adam dalam Al-Qur’an serta relevansinya dengan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, khususnya dalam membentuk karakter dan moralitas peserta didik. Melalui pendekatan kepustakaan, penelitian ini mengkaji ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan penciptaan Nabi Adam, ujiannya sebagai khalifah, serta interaksinya dengan malaikat dan iblis, untuk menggali nilai-nilai pendidikan yang bisa diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan karakter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kisah Nabi Adam mengandung berbagai sikap dan perilaku positif seperti religiusitas, tanggung jawab, pemaaf, dan kemampuan untuk belajar dari kesalahan. Nilai-nilai ini sangat relevan dengan pola dasar pendidikan Islam di Indonesia yang menekankan pentingnya moralitas, akhlak mulia, dan pengelolaan alam semesta sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan karakter yang berlandaskan pada kisah Nabi Adam dapat menjadi referensi yang kuat dalam mendidik generasi penerus bangsa agar memiliki karakter yang berakhlak, bertanggung jawab, dan menghargai alam semesta. Dengan demikian, kisah Nabi Adam dapat menjadi teladan dalam pembentukan moral dan etika yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di masyarakat.     Ilmu sharaf merupakan salah satu cabang linguistik Arab yang kompleks dan sering kali menimbulkan kesulitan bagi para pembelajarnya, khususnya penutur non-Arab. Meskipun fenomena morfologis dalam bahasa Arab menjadi ciri khas yang unik, namun hal tersebut juga dapat menjadi sumber kesulitan dalam memahami berbagai bab dan topik ilmu sharaf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengungkap materi pembelajaran sharaf di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Islamiyah Madiun; dan (2) mengungkap proses pembelajaran sharaf, termasuk metode, media, dan evaluasi yang diterapkan di program studi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara induktif dan deduktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Materi sharaf diambil dari buku-buku standar yang telah ditetapkan dalam kurikulum, dan dirancang dengan pendekatan normatif-tradisional; (2) Proses pembelajaran sharaf dilakukan dengan metode tradisional (thariqah qiyasiyah), di mana semua aktivitas pembelajaran mengikuti pola metode tersebut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan pendekatan yang lebih komunikatif dan kontekstual agar pembelajaran ilmu sharaf lebih efektif bagi mahasiswa non-Arab

    Penerapan AI dan Machine Learning dalam Pendidikan Islam: Tantangan Etika dan Pendekatan Integratif Berbasis Maqāṣid Al-Syarī‘ah

    Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan membuka peluang strategis bagi penerapan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Machine Learning, yang kini mulai diintegrasikan secara nyata dalam pengembangan sistem dan proses pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam penerapan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Machine Learning dalam pembelajaran Islam, dengan fokus pada identifikasi tantangan etika serta perumusan strategi integratif berbasis nilai-nilai maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah dan prinsip wasathiyyah dalam pengembangan sistem teknologi digital pendidikan. AI terbukti mampu meningkatkan personalisasi pembelajaran, efisiensi administrasi, dan aksesibilitas materi keagamaan yang luas. Namun, adopsi teknologi ini juga memunculkan berbagai dilema etis, seperti privasi data, bias algoritmik, serta potensi tergesernya peran guru sebagai pendidik utama. Dengan pendekatan teoritis berbasis Wasathiyyah dan kerangka etika Islam, artikel ini menyusun kerangka evaluatif terhadap implementasi AI agar tetap sejalan dengan nilai-nilai keislaman dan pembentukan karakter spiritual siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif melalui studi pustaka terhadap literatur ilmiah terverifikasi yang membahas integrasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan Islam, guna mengkaji konsep, manfaat, tantangan, serta dimensi etika dan spiritualnya.Digital transformation in education presents strategic opportunities for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, which are now increasingly being integrated into the development of educational systems and learning processes within Islamic education environments.     PERAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA (BUMDES) DALAM PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI DESA KALIDAWE PUCANGLABAN TULUNGAGUNG

    Rural development is an integral part of national development, aiming to reduce the disparity between rural and urban areas. Although villages possess significant natural and human resource potential, the welfare of rural communities remains relatively low. Limited human resources and funding are major obstacles to this development process. To address this challenge, the government is encouraging the establishment of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) as a strategic instrument to strengthen the village economy and increase Village Original Income (PADes). BUMDes are designed as economic institutions managed collectively by the village community and the village government, with governance principles distinct from those of traditional business entities. Thus, BUMDes are expected to function not only as business units but also as catalysts for sustainable local economic development. One BUMDes of interest to study is the Gondang Legi BUMDes in Kalidawe Village, Pucanglaban District, Tulungagung Regency. This research aims to analyze the governance of this BUMDes, identify the business sectors it operates in, and evaluate its contribution to village economic development. The research results show that the Gondang Legi BUMDes has implemented good governance principles, such as corporatism, participatory, transparency, and accountability. Management is carried out through community involvement, strategic partnerships, and a clear accountability system. This makes the BUMDes a driving force for the local economy. The main business unit of the Gondang Legi BUMDes is HIPPAM (Drinking Water Users Association), which focuses on providing clean water to the village community. This business not only provides social benefits through public services but also has significant economic value. Despite a decline in revenue in 2022, with appropriate and innovative management, this business unit still has the potential to grow and provide long-term benefits to the village. The BUMDes' contribution to the economic development of Kalidawe Village is positive, particularly in improving community welfare. However, in terms of contribution to Village-Generated Revenue (PADes), the BUMDes' performance still needs improvement. Strengthening financial management, expanding business units, and increasing human resource capacity are needed to enable the BUMDes to make a more optimal contribution to overall village development
