Preventing domestic violence through integrated community work
This study is methodologically based on the qualitative research paradigm, with a descriptive approach. It allowed us to investigate, describe, and evaluate the prevention of domestic violence carried out by the multidisciplinary team in the community of San Justo, in the Guantánamo municipality. The participatory action research method was used to determine the level of preparation of the 12 members of the multidisciplinary team to carry out preventive work through integrated community outreach, from January to July 2025. The empirical methods used were participant observation, in-depth interviews, document review, questionnaires, and triangulation. Shortcomings were revealed in the level of integration of this group in the prevention of domestic violence. The need to enhance their training in socioemotional skills and sociopsychological resources for the most effective development of their work was noted. The viability of psychoeducational interventions was confirmed as a useful alternative for the preventive work carried out by this multidisciplinary team in addressing this social problem
The mediating role of brand image in the influence of influencer credibility and E-WoM on repurchase intention of skincare products in Denpasar City
The increasing awareness among women regarding the importance of appearance and self-image, especially in the professional world, has driven the use of skincare products as part of personal branding and professionalism strategies. This study aims to examine the influence of influencer credibility and e-WOM on repurchase intention of skincare products, both directly and through the mediation of brand image. It also seeks to identify differences in repurchase intention between the two skincare brands. As the population is considered infinite, sampling was conducted using a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. A total of 150 respondents were selected based on specific criteria. T The results show that influencer credibility has no significant effect on repurchase intention or brand image. Meanwhile, e-WOM has a positive and significant effect on both variables. Brand image plays a crucial role in increasing repurchase intention and partially mediates the relationship between e-WOM and repurchase intention, but does not mediate the relationship between influencer credibility and repurchase intention. There is no significant difference in repurchase intention between Wardah and Skintific users. These findings highlight the important role of consumer reviews in shaping perception and repurchase intention in the skincare industry
The quality of reading and meaningful learning in basic general education students: Case study
Teaching reading is one of the noblest activities that the teacher has developed, the same one that over the years has managed to awaken curiosity, but also a lack of interest, especially in school-children. The daily debate and the continuous search for answers to the questions raised by teachers in relation to how to improve and energize the teaching-learning process of reading has been shared by the author. The research is based on the investigation regarding the current situation related to the quality of reading and learning in students of Basic General Education, seeking evidence of the way in which teachers apply different strategies and methodologies to obtain learning. significant in the teaching of reading, information is collected that deals with the role that parents play in the educational process. In short, it gives an account of the state of the art related to the topic of the research. The investigative characteristics are quantitative and descriptive in nature, the quantitative methodology develops a set of techniques that are used to study the variables of interest of a certain population, its purpose is to plan various investigative activities that allow obtaining information.
Neuro-Pedagogy of the visual arts in reading comprehension
The research, titled "Neuropedagogy of the Visual Arts in Reading Comprehension," sought to investigate and gather answers to the problems posed and seek to resolve methodological issues. In this context, the research adopted a qualitative and quantitative approach. The methodology used was linked to the inductive and deductive method; at the same time, a correlational and experimental research level were determined. For this purpose, the population consisted of teachers and students from the following institutions: "Oswaldo Castro" Educational Unit, "Raymundo Aveiga" Educational Unit, and "Gonzalo Abad" Educational Unit in the city of Chone, Manabí province. The sample consisted of a total of 60 students; 20 students from each institution. In the data collected during the research, based on the use of strategies based on the neuropedagogy of the visual arts, the objective was to identify and capture, through drawings, the roles of the different characters in the aforementioned excerpt from the novel. At the same time, when calculating the average grades of the experimental group, the following scores were obtained: "Oswaldo Castro" Educational Unit 5.0, "Raymundo Aveiga" Educational Unit 5.3 and "Gonzalo Abad" Educational Unit 5.7, which showed that there was a significant difference between groups when evaluating the exercise
The role of fisheries in national food security
The fisheries sector plays an important role in supporting Indonesia's national food security by providing a source of high-quality and sustainable animal protein. Capture fisheries and aquaculture not only meet the food needs of the community but also contribute significantly to the economy and welfare of coastal communities. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the contributions, challenges, and efforts to improve the fisheries sector in support of national food security. The results of the study indicate that sustainable fisheries resource management, improved aquaculture technology, and appropriate policy support are essential to maintain the continuity of food supply from the sea. Collaborative efforts among the government, businesses, and the community are crucial to strengthening the fisheries sector's role as a pillar of national food security
Analysis of cantilever beam reinforcement methods and costs in the Wonderland Uluwatu Project
A strong and durable structure is the expectation for every building. However, in the implementation of concrete manufacturing projects, there are still many issues due to the quality of concrete not meeting the plan specifications, resulting in an inability to withstand the working load. For example, in the building construction project at Wonderland Uluwatu, the planned concrete quality for the cantilever beam was K300. However, when the hammer test was conducted at 28 days of curing, the expected quality was not achieved. So, a cantilever beam is necessary to repair and strengthen the concrete structure of the building to ensure its safety. This research compares the reinforcement methods for cantilever beams in terms of cost. Two cantilever beam reinforcement methods will be implemented: first, steel jacketing reinforcement using 8 mm and 10 mm thick steel plates; second, IWF steel reinforcement with dimensions of 500 mm x 200 mm x 10 mm x 16 mm. These reinforcement methods will be evaluated through deflection analysis and deviation analysis. The results of this study indicate that the cost of the steel jacketing reinforcement method with thicknesses of 8 mm and 10 mm amounts to Rp. 345,086,768.00.
Evaluation of the impact of lean construction implementation on efficiency and waste management in large-scale infrastructure projects
This study aims to evaluate the impact of Lean Construction implementation on efficiency and waste management in large-scale infrastructure projects through a literature review. Lean Construction, adapted from lean manufacturing principles, offers a systematic strategy to reduce waste, improve collaboration, and optimise workflows. The synthesis of various studies indicates that the application of Lean Construction can improve project time efficiency by up to 25% and reduce costs by 18–30%, primarily through the reduction of waste types such as defects, overproduction, inventory, and waiting. However, implementation on projects with multiple stakeholders still faces challenges such as fragmented coordination, resistance to cultural change, and misalignment of contract systems. Strategic solutions identified include redesigning collaborative contracts, integrated human resource training, and leveraging digital technology for cross-disciplinary data synchronisation. This study recommends the need for synergy between the government, industry, and academia to create a more efficient and sustainable construction ecosystem in Indonesia
Management solutions for internal inspection in high schools in Vietnam: A quality culture approach
This study investigates the management of internal inspection in Vietnamese high schools from the perspective of quality culture. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research surveyed 450 participants, including 250 managers at both provincial and school levels and 200 teachers and staff across six provinces and cities. Twelve public high schools were selected as research sites to represent diverse educational contexts. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews, then analyzed using SPSS and thematic coding. The findings reveal that while internal inspection is widely institutionalized and contributes to accountability, its alignment with quality culture remains limited. Criteria often emphasize administrative compliance rather than continuous improvement, innovation, or student-centered values. Teachers have limited participation, and transparency and feedback are perceived as insufficient. Leadership quality emerges as a decisive factor, with proactive leaders able to transform inspection into a developmental process. Digital tools are underutilized, further constraining efficiency and transparency. The study proposes five management solutions: (1) raising awareness of managers and teachers about quality culture in inspection, (2) developing criteria aligned with cultural values of quality, (3) standardizing inspection processes based on participatory principles, (4) capacity building for inspection staff, and (5) mobilizing resources and digital platforms for effective implementation.
Enforcement of justice in minor crimes for the establishment of law and order in Indonesia
Since crime was known in society, criminal law experts from ancient times initially considered punishment as a means of treatment (remedy) to cure perpetrators of criminal acts by giving sanctions that have a deterrent effect, so that criminals no longer repeat their actions, including for minor criminal cases. The research was conducted using the Normative Juridical research method with literature studies, with the formulation of the problem to be raised, namely (1) How is the Law Enforcement of Minor Criminal Offenses Based on Restorative Justice in Order to Create Order in the Criminal Law and Sentencing System, and a Comparison of the Legal Basis in Indonesia with the United States and Singapore? and (2) What is the Ideal Concept of Law Enforcement of Minor Criminal Offenses Based on Restorative Justice Based on Progressive Legal Theory that is Expected in the Future (Ius Constituendum)?, and it is concluded, Firstly that the enforcement of minor criminal law with Restorative Justice in order to create order in the Criminal Law and Punishment System in Indonesia still has dualism in its law enforcement by law enforcers,,,
Analysis productivity and its impact on time and cost of implementation of the private residence project structure work
The construction project of Mrs. Tiya & Mr. Tom's Private Residence in Kemenuh-Gianyar is a 3-story villa development chosen as a case study due to discrepancies between the consultant's plans and the actual field conditions. This necessitated a method to optimize work completion. One proposed solution for accelerating the project was to add more workers. Based on the initial plan, the project required 104 days (3 months and 2 weeks) for completion, with a total structural work cost of Rp. 703,803,162.24. After analysis with the alternative of adding more workers, the project completion duration could return to the schedule of 90 days (3 months) or be accelerated by 12 days (2 weeks), with a total cost of Rp. 671,298,258.93. This concludes that adding more workers is an effective method to increase time efficiency by 14.29% and decrease costs by 4.6%, or the equivalent of Rp. 32,504,903.31
