HISTORIOGRAFIA DO CRIME E DA VIOLÊNCIA NO PARANÁ:: Um panorama sobre os últimos 40 anos (1985-2025)

This article provides an assessment of the historiography on crime and physical violence in Paraná from 1985 to 2025. The research is based on the analysis of theses and dissertations from universities in Paraná and other Brazilian institutions that directly or indirectly address this theme. The studies were systematized in chronological order, enabling the identification of trends, approaches, and gaps. The synthesis revealed thematic and methodological patterns concerning the current state of these studies, contributing to mapping their development and future possibilities.  Este artigo apresenta um balanço da produção historiográfica sobre o crime e a violência física no Paraná de 1985 até 2025. A pesquisa baseou-se na análise de dissertações e teses de universidades paranaenses e de outras instituições brasileiras que abordam direta ou indiretamente o tema. Os trabalhos foram sistematizados em ordem cronológica, permitindo identificar tendências, abordagens e lacunas. A síntese revelou padrões temáticos e metodológicos sobre o estado atual desses estudos, contribuindo para mapear o seu desenvolvimento e possibilidades futuras

A INFLUÊNCIA DO CAPITALISMO NA FORMULAÇÃO E IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DAS POLÍTICAS DE ATENÇÃO À PESSOA IDOSA EM MOÇAMBIQUE

O presente artigo analisa a influência do capitalismo na formulação e implementação de políticas de atenção à pessoa idosa em Moçambique. O estudo evidencia um crescimento significativo da população idosa, projetado para saltar de 1,1 milhão (2010) para 8,7 milhões em 2075, o que impõe novos desafios. Contudo, o país enfrenta limitações como pobreza absoluta, fragilidade estatal e fatores culturais, que agravam a vulnerabilidade dos idosos, manifesta em casos de abandono, violência e acusações de feitiçaria. A vertente neoliberal do capitalismo promoveu a mercantilização do cuidado e a privatização de serviços, enfraquecendo a responsabilidade pública e comprometendo o acesso a pensões, saúde e assistência, especialmente nas zonas rurais. Fundamentado em autores como Fraser e Pereira, o trabalho articula os conceitos de capitalismo, políticas sociais e envelhecimento. Conclui-se que as políticas, embora necessárias, permanecem insuficientes e subordinadas às exigências do capital, revelando a necessidade de integrar redistribuição econômica e reconhecimento cultural

O Jogo do Amor:: Imagens do Amor Cortês em Manuscritos Iluminados Ingleses do Século XIV

The main goal in this paper concerns the images of Courtly Love from English Illuminated Manuscripts made in the 14thcentury. These manuscripts, being connected intimately with the English nobility and knighthood, reflected their interests and worries in their programs of illumination. Through those images, with the guidance of Jean Claude-Schmitt’s (2007) work on their specificities in the medieval context, we mean to study other ways of depicting the relations between man and woman and its cultural aspect, in a different medieval than the chivalric romances and literature, where such themes were popularized. We looked for two different iconographic themes: the Siege to the Castle of Love and the Game played between damsel and knight, both relevant to the understanding of the images on the relations between man and woman in this context.O objetivo do presente artigo se volta à discussão de imagens provenientes de Manuscritos Iluminados feito na Inglaterra no início do século XIV, relativas à temática do Amor Cortês. Esses manuscritos, ligados intimamente à nobreza e à cavalaria inglesa, refletem em seu programa de iluminação os interesses e anseios desse grupo social. Através das imagens, com auxílio de Jean-Claude Schmitt (2007) no trato com suas particularidades no medievo, pretendemos estudar outras formas de aparição das relações entre homem e mulher e seu aspecto cultural, em uma mídia diversa dos romances e da literatura cavaleiresca em que tais temas se popularizaram. Analisamos dois diferentes temas iconográficos: o Cerco ao Castelo do Amor e o Jogo entre dama e cavaleiro, pertinentes para o estudo das imagens da relação entre homem e mulher nesse período

A VIOLÊNCIA DO ESTADO NEOLIBERAL: AS MULHERES CUIDADORAS DE PESSOAS IDOSAS

Este artigo oferece elementos para analisar as violências do Estado Neoliberal sobre a condição sociolaboral da mulher que assume a atribuição de cuidadora de pessoas idosas ou auxilia pais, mães, companheiros, entre outros parentes idosos. No Brasil, país periférico e dependente, a realidade concreta é a expressão das violências, principalmente estrutural, devido ao “devastador” sistema capitalista. As mulheres cuidadoras de pessoas idosas têm seus direitos violados a favor da moral familiarista e patriarcal que lhes impõe a responsabilidade dos “cuidados”. Ao considerar as interseccionalidades de gênero, raça, classe, território e geração, este estudo evidencia que os cuidados são fundamentais para (re)produção da vida, onde são transferidos ao espaço doméstico sem qualquer aporte do Estado neoliberal que, ao reduzir a proteção social, intensifica a lógica perversa de “acumulação” por meio da intensa exploração da força de trabalho feminina. Em linhas gerais, faz-se necessário “romper” com as múltiplas violências silenciadas e impostas às mulheres e tornar esse direito aos cuidados um direito social compartilhado durante o processo de envelhecimento. &nbsp

THE STUDY OF ADO 26/DF AND MI 4733 IN THE FEDERAL SUPREME COURT AND THE CRIMINALIZATION OF TRANSPHOBIA: Notes on constitutionalism and democracy

The development of this research was due to the political scenario recently experienced in Brazil, of distrust of institutions, in which discussions between the limits of action of the Three Powers once again gained prominence. The time was marked by the judgment of the Direct Action of Unconstitutionality by Omission (ADO) 26 and the Writ of Injunction (MI) 4733, which aimed to criminalize conduct by the Judiciary due to the lack of protection for constitutional principles, such as equality. Given this, the research seeks to answer the following question: How did the Court position itself, under the dilemma between the Separation of Powers and the democratic deficit of judicial review, in the judgment of ADO 26 and MI 4733 for the criminalization of homophobic and transphobic practices? The hypothesis is that the Federal Supreme Court justices adopt a material conception of the concept of democracy, and use the method of constitutional interpretation to avoid criticism of the violation of the Principle of Separation of Powers by the Judiciary. In order to confirm (or not) the hypothesis, the work was carried out through descriptive and qualitative documentary research, comparing the bibliography developed in the area and using the analytical method applied to reading the research problem. he object of this research is to analyze the limits of the judiciary's action as an agent in the creation of legal norms that typify conduct within the scope of criminal law, through constitutional actions in the face of the normative absence and inaction of the Legislative Power within constitutional democracies, in particular in the Brazilian case, through the action of the STF in ADO 26/DF and in MI 4733 in the judgment of transphobia against the LGBTQIA+ community. A repressão da ditadura civil-militar às universidades brasileiras: uma análise da trajetória de três professores cassados pela UFRJ

O presente artigo examina o impacto repressivo do regime ditatorial (1964-1985) na Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), focando nas vidas de três professores cassados: Josué Apolônio de Castro (1908-1973), Maria Laura Mouzinho Leite Lopes (1917-2013) e Wanderley Guilherme dos Santos (1935-2019). Contextualizando o ambiente universitário como alvo central da repressão, o estudo revela como a “Operação Limpeza” e o Ato Institucional nº 5 (AI-5) intensificaram perseguições, demissões e exílios. Utilizando uma metodologia qualitativa e micro-histórica, a pesquisa demonstra que, apesar das adversidades impostas pelo regime ditatorial, esses professores mantiveram seu compromisso com a ciência e a educação brasileiras, contribuindo de forma significativa para suas respectivas áreas de atuação. A conclusão ressalta a importância de preservar suas memórias como símbolo de resistência intelectual e de luta por justiça e democracia, sublinhando a relevância de refletir sobre os impactos da ditadura nas universidades brasileiras para promover um futuro mais inclusivo e democrático

AS PERMANÊNCIAS NA CONSTRUÇÃO DA IMAGEM DE VÍTIMA E AGRESSOR EM DISCURSOS DE PROCESSOS CRIMINAIS NO BRASIL DO INÍCIO DO SÉCULO XX

When analyzing criminal proceedings, it is necessary to bear in mind that this document does not present a singular discourse, a discussion based only on laws and legislative codes, but a discursive web that includes various discourses that sometimes converge, however, they present different views on the same event. Likewise, it must be made clear that what is described here is a transition from the material fact (the violence committed) to a linguistic act (the speech about the fact), so it is known that there is a discursive construction about the event and not about the fact itself. Language is a factor in the construction of the subjectivity of those involved, and when it comes to sex crimes, in addition to the social and cultural construction of the crime itself, there is the construction of gender, its moral languages, its wants and desires. This construction of the image of the victim and the aggressor takes place in various ways and in various procedural segments, in the terminology used by the procedural matter, in the penal article, including in the speech of the various agents involved in the procedural dictates, in addition to the prosecutors and judges. As such, this article will look at some of the constructions and continuities in the discourses present in sex crime cases and how they influence the perception of the ideal image of victim and aggressor.  This ends up perpetuating stereotypes such as that only a morally honest woman deserves to be brought to justice and that a sex offender is just a pathological individual.Ao analisar o processo criminal é preciso ter em mente que este documento não apresenta um discurso singular, uma discussão apenas pautadas em leis e códigos legislativos, mas uma teia discursiva que comporta diversos discursos que, por vezes se convergem, no entanto, apresentam diferentes visões sobre um mesmo acontecimento. Da mesma forma, é preciso esclarecer que o que se vê ali descrito é uma transição do fato material (a violência cometida) para um ato linguístico (a fala sobre o fato), dessa forma, sabe-se que há uma construção discursiva sobre o acontecimento e não sobre o fato em si. A linguagem apresenta-se como um fator de construção da subjetividade dos envolvidos, e quando se trata de crimes sexuais, além da construção social e cultural do próprio crime, há a construção de gênero, suas linguagens morais, suas vontades e seus desejos. Essa construção da imagem da vítima e do agressor acontece de diversas formas e em vários segmentos processuais, nas terminologias utilizadas pelo assunto processual, no artigo penal, inclusive na fala dos diversos agentes inseridos nos ditames processuais, para além dos promotores e juízes. Sendo assim, este artigo abordará algumas construções e permanências nos discursos presentes em processos de crimes sexuais e como estes influenciam na percepção da imagem ideal de vítima e agressor. O que acaba por perpetuar estereótipos como de que apenas uma mulher honesta moralmente merece ser acolhida pela justiça e que um agressor sexual é apenas um indivíduo patológico

Dos palcos à tela: a recepção de uma revista da cinematografia estadunidense no brasil de 1918 a 1921

This paper aims to analyze one of the first specialized periodicals on cinema to circulate in Brazil. Palcos e Telas was a film magazine created to promote American cinema among Brazilian readers and viewers within the time frame that goes from 1918 to 1921. In this work, Palcos e Telas presents itself as an important vehicle for building the connection between the Hollywood imaginary and the Brazilian viewer and presents an interpretation of the main stars consumed by the public in question. In addition to writing about the trajectory of the periodical, this text seeks to understand the cultural influence between Brazilian popular literate culture and its correlation with the practice of watching films.Este trabalho visa analisar um dos primeiros periódicos especializados em cinema a circular no Brasil. Palcos e Telas foi uma revista cinematográfica construída para divulgar o cinema estadunidense entre os leitores e espectadores brasileiros dentro do recorte de tempo que vai de 1918 a 1921. Neste trabalho, Palcos e Telas se apresenta como um importante veículo de construção entre o imaginário hollywoodiano e o espectador brasileiro e traz uma leitura sobre os principais astros e estrelas consumidos pelo público em questão. Para além da escrita da trajetória do periódico, este texto busca compreender a influência cultural entre a cultura popular letrada brasileira e sua correlação com a prática de se assistir filmes

A DIMENSÃO PEDAGÓGICA DO TRABALHO DE ASSISTENTES SOCIAIS NO MBITO DA SOCIOEDUCAÇÃO.

O texto apresenta a dimensão pedagógica do trabalho de assistentes sociais no âmbito da socioeducação, partindo de sua compreensão como trabalho concreto, cujas determinações estão dadas pela dinâmica de uma instituição na qual práticas e sujeitos conformam uma modalidade de trabalho social e combinado, articulando as funções coercitivas e pedagógicas, que caracterizam a atuação do Estado. Resulta de análises feitas sobre a política de atendimento dirigida aos jovens em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa, mediatizada pela articulação das dimensões sancionatória, processual e socioeducativa.  As relações interinstitucionais, as requisições e respostas profissionais são apresentadas a partir da inserção no processo de trabalho coletivo. Evidencia-se o potencial que a dimensão pedagógica do trabalho tem para contribuir na afirmação da proposta socioeducativa, ainda em construção
