家庭用LED水耕栽培装置を用いた高品質野菜栽培法の開発

家庭用LED水耕栽培を用いた栽培野菜の高品質化を目的としてその栽培方法を検討した。高品質化の1つとして硝酸イオン含量に着目し低硝酸含有野菜の栽培法を検討するとともに生重量、還元型アスコルビン酸含量について比較検討した。硝酸イオン含量の低減化栽培法として播種後3週目に水耕栽培装置の水耕液を肥料溶液から肥料を入れていない水に入れ替え栽培を１週間行なった結果、葉中硝酸イオン含量は1/3〜1/6程度に低下したが生重量は1/3程度であった。一方葉中還元型アスコルビン酸含量は2倍程度に増加した。本研究により栽培途中の肥料溶液を変更することで高品質野菜を栽培できる可能性が示された。departmental bulletin pape

基礎看護技術の技術習得における学生アシスタント活用の効果と学修サポートセンター利用率向上への一考察

目的： 大学の基礎看護技術の習得において学生アシスタント活用の効果を明らかにし、学修サポートセンター利用率向上の示唆を得る。 方法： 学生アシスタントの4 年生1 名と、事前学習に参加した教師役の学生2 年生4 名にインタビューをした。 結果： 学生アシスタントは、事前学習やシミュレーション演習に参加することで、自身の知識や技術を復習しながら、他の学生への指導を通じて学習を深めた。特に、学生アシスタントが提供した実習場面の動画は、科目を履修する学生にとって看護技術の理解を助ける重要な教材となり、実習現場での具体的なイメージを持つことができた。一方で、学生アシスタントと事前学習に参加した教師役の学生とのコミュニケーションが不足しており、十分な学修支援が行えなかった点が課題として浮上した。 考察： 学生と他の学生たちが自由に交流し、質問や情報交換を行える環境づくりが必要であり、それが効果的な学修支援につながることが明らかになった。Purpose : The purpose of this study is to clarify the effectiveness of utilizing student assistants in the acquisition of basic nursing skills at the university and to provide insights for improving the utilization rate of the learning support center. Method : Interviews were conducted with one fourth‒year student assistant and four second‒year students who participated as teacher roles in pre‒learning sessions. Results : The student assistant, by participating in pre‒learning sessions and simulation exercises, was able to review their own knowledge and skills while deepening their learning through instructing other students. In particular, the videos of practical scenes provided by the student assistant became valuable teaching materials for students enrolled in the subject, helping them to better understand the techniques and develop a concrete image of the practical field. On the other hand, communication between the student assistant and the second‒year students participating in the pre‒learning sessions was insufficient, resulting in a lack of adequate learning support, which emerged as a challenge. 昆虫食に関する現状把握及び今後の昆虫食普及の検討

世界人口の増加に伴い、SDGsに対する有効な食糧対策が求められている。そこで注目されているのが昆虫食である。昆虫食が世界で注目されたのは、2013年FAO（国連食糧農業機関）が報告したことが大きなきっかけとなった。FAO報告書では、食糧危機の有望な解決策として昆虫食を推奨している。その理由として大きく経済面、環境面、栄養面の3つの利点があることが述べられている。しかし昆虫食受容の割合は依然として低く、昆虫食受容をいかに高めるかが大きな課題になっている。さらに昆虫食の多くは研究途中で、経済面、環境面、栄養面に加えて安全面、倫理面の更なる分析が必要であるとされている。そこで私たちは、一般の人々における昆虫食に対する意識調査を行い、今後の昆虫食の普及方法を検討した。本研究の目的は、昆虫食に対する知識や関心の程度をアンケート調査により把握し、今後の昆虫食普及方法について検討することを目的とする。アンケート調査結果は、「昆虫食」の知識及び経験は若い年代の方が有意に高かった（p＜0.05）。「昆虫食」に対する抵抗感については年代と性別に有意差はなかったが、実際に試食した後と比較すると有意に抵抗感が低くなった（p=0.047）。また「昆虫食」について大切だと思うものでは、「安全面」が一番多く、次いで「みため」であった。食経験を有することで、抵抗感が減少する可能性があることが示唆された。departmental bulletin pape

新人看護師のコアコンピテンシーの現状

目的：新人看護師のコアコンピテンシーの現状を明らかにし、教育への示唆を得る。 方法： 医中誌Web を用いた文献レビューから、臨床経験3 年以内の新人看護師を対象とし、過去5 年以内に発表された論文からコアコンピテンシーに該当する内容を抽出し、各文献の内容を確認した。 結果： 10の文献を選定し「Ⅱ群：ヒューマンケアの基本に関する実践能力」および「Ⅴ群：多様なケア環境とチーム体制に関する実践能力」は高いコアコンピテンシーとして示され、新人看護師の臨床実践能力として発揮していた。「Ⅳ群：特定の健康課題に対する実践能力」、「Ⅴ群：多様なケア環境とチーム体制に関する実践能力」、「Ⅵ群：専門職として研鑽し続ける基本能力」は、低いコアコンピテンシーとして示された。 考察： 新人看護師は1 年目であっても、責任感と倫理観を持ち実践していた。「継続学習」「専門性の向上」における能力は低く、看護基礎教育課程の中で自己研鑽能力の向上に向けた教授方略の必要性が示唆された。 結論： 看護基礎教育の中で修得されたコアコンピテンシーは臨床実践能力として発揮されている一方で、修得が不十分なコアコンピテンシーが明らかとなった。看護基礎教育課程の中で卒業後に活躍できる教育内容の検討が求められる。Objective : To clarify the current state of new nurses’ core competencies and obtain suggestions for education. Methods : New nurses with three years or less of clinical experience were targeted for a literature review using Ichu‒shi Web, and the contents of core competencies were extracted from articles published within the past five years. The content of each study was then reviewed. Results : Ten studies were included. ‘Group Ⅱ : Practical competence in basic human care,’ and ‘Group Ⅴ : Practical competence in diverse care environments and organizational structure’ were identified as high core competencies and demonstrated by new nurses, and “Group IV: Practical competence in specific health issues,” “Group V: Practical competence in diverse care Group V: Ability to practice in diverse care environments and team systems,” and ‘Group VI : Basic ability to keep improving as a professional’ were identified as low core competencies. Discussion : Even in their first year, new nurses practiced responsibly and ethically. However, they were less competent in “continuous learning” and “professional development,” suggesting the need for a strategy to teach self‒improvement skills in basic nursing education programs. Conclusion : While the core competencies acquired in basic nursing education were identified as clinical practice competencies, core competencies that were not sufficiently acquired were also identified. Further discussion of basic nursing education is needed to ensure that new nurses are ready to work effectively soon after graduation.departmental bulletin pape

Exchange Program for Psychiatric Nurses Who Work in Institute of Mental Health, Singapore

The number of foreign residents in Japan is increasing, making it necessary to provide care to international patients, which requires communication skills and cross‒cultural understanding. To address this need, the Otemae University Faculty of Global Nursing has partnered with several overseas medical institutions and universities to provide students with practical training at international medical institutions. In response to a request from the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore, one of our partner institutions, we conducted a training program for four IMH nurses. This report outlines the exchange program for IMH nurses conducted at Otemae University and highlights future challenges. The training took place over 10 days, from May 15 to May 26, 2023, at three facilities in Osaka Prefecture. The IMH nurses had the opportunity to experience psychiatric care in Japan, the warm culture of Japanese courtesy, and respect for others through these exchanges. The program was a valuable experience for the Japanese nurses who were motivated by learning about nursing practices in Singapore.departmental bulletin pape

患者参加型料理教室による管理栄養士の栄養指導に対する意識の変化

食事療法は患者が正しく理解して実践、継続することが重要であるが、十分な理解や食行動の変容につなげることは難しい。我々は、管理栄養士が食事療法に関する悩みを患者と共有することが、より良い栄養指導につながり、料理教室は患者の食事療法への理解を深めるだけでなく、管理栄養士が患者をより理解する場になるのではと考え、患者参加型料理教室による管理栄養士の栄養指導に対する意識の変化について検討を行った。 料理教室は、テーマを「減塩とエネルギーコントロール」として実施した。料理教室に参画した管理栄養士を対象としたアンケートを作成し、料理教室実施5～6ヶ月後に質問紙調査を行った。 料理教室に参画した管理栄養士は、患者には食事療法に関する多くの悩みがあると考えている一方で、管理栄養士も栄養指導が患者の取り組みにつながらないことに悩みを感じていた。料理教室は、患者が具体的な食事療法を学び、患者の悩みの解決に寄与するだけでなく、管理栄養士が患者の理解度や調理技術を把握することで、具体的な栄養指導につなげることができ、管理栄養士の悩みも解決できる場となる可能性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
