Kata Kunci : WiMAX, kelas QoS, Algoritma Penjadwalan, WRR, WFQ, CBQABSTRACT: Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) is a Broadband Wireless Access technology which has high-speed access and wide coverage. One of the advantages of WiMAX compared to other BWA technologies is a guaranteed QoS for each packet sent. That requires a special schedule that regulates the allocation of bandwidth according to 5 classes in IEEE 802.16 QoS classification. However, there is currently no standard scheduling algorithm, and not all scheduling algorithms are suitable for WiMAX.There are some scheduling algorithms for WiMAX which has been recommended, the final project will be conducted analysis of the algorithm Weighted Round Robin (WRR), Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ), and Class Based Queuing (CBQ). The three scheduling algorithm is then simulated in the Network Simulator (NS 2.31) and then measured the value of delay, throughput, packet loss, and fairness index then do a comparison between the scheduling algorithm Weighted Round Robin (WRR), Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ), and Class Based queuing (CBQ).From the simulation results and analysis, obtained the following conclusions. WFQ algorithm is better in serving the demand for VoIP (RTP). WRR algorithm better serve demand connection-oriented such as HTTP and FTP (TCP). Overall, based on the analysis of packet delay, throughput, packet loss, and fairness resulting index shows that WFQ algorithm is better on fifth standardized QoS.Keyword: WiMAX, class of QoS, Scheduling Algorithm, WRR, WFQ, CB

Hasil simulasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini didapatkan skema penjadwalan Priority Queuing (PQ) relatif lebih baik dalam melewatkan paket suara khususnya dibandingkan dengan Skema Penjadwalan Weighted Round Robin (WRR).Kata Kunci : WRR, PQ, QoS, Internet, IP, Router, Delay, Jitter, Loss.ABSTRACT: Internet is the infrastructure that can not be disintegrated from the telecommunication technology. Today, Internet is being used for some application which need different requirement one another. One of the requirements is how to generate the traffic with different characteristic that especially can be distinguished respectively Data Application, Video Application and Voice Application. The problem is all about the QoS (Quality of Service) in the Internet Network which is basically IP Network. The logically consequent by this problem is how to find the way to get the appropriate Network QoS it self for good quality of applications through the Network. Nowadays, there are many technologies developed to support the appropriate QoS requirement. Scheduling Scheme and Queuing System in the Router is one of the many aspects that must be concerned and become the aim of this final project especially about the voice traffic. Vendor managed inventory (VMI) is a popular supply chain system where vendor or supplier take responsibility and decision in managing its customers’ inventory. Two important goals of the VMI are improving service level and maintaining inventory still low and available. Many studies in VMI compare their performance with the traditional system. Unfortunately, studies in improving VMI performance are rare. This work aims to improve VMI by implementing Weighted Round Robin (WRR), a popular scheduling model in computer system, in the replenishment model in VMI. WRR is popular because of its load balancing nature. Environment in this work is two-echelon supply chain. The vendor is a multi-product manufacturer. The customers are retailers. This WRR based replenishment model is then compared with two common replenishment models: (s, S) model and (r, Q) model. In this work, we observe two performance parameters: sales and inventory condition. Based on the simulation result, it is shown that the WRR model performs better than the existing (s, S) model and (r, Q) model and it occurs in most of the observed variables. In the certain condition, performance of the WRR model compared with the (s, S) model and the (r, Q) model is as follows. The WRR model performs 31 percent better than the (s, S) model and 12 percent better than the (r, Q) model in success ratio. Manufacturer’s stock in the WRR model is only 36 percent than in the (s, S) model and 40 percent than in the (r, Q) model. Total stock in the supply chain in the WRR model is only 63 percent than in the (s, S) model and 89 percent than in the (r, Q) model

Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 77-84).The use of WLAN for the provision of IP multimedia services faces a number of challenges which include quality of service (QoS). Because WLAN users access multimedia services usually over a wired backbone, attention must be paid to QoS over the integrated WLAN-wired network. This research focuses on the provision of QoS to WLAN users accessing multimedia services over a wired backbone. In this thesis, the IEEE 802.11-2007 enhanced data channel access (EDCA) mechanism is used to provide prioritized QoS on the WLAN media access control (MAC) layer, while weighted round robin (WRR) queue scheduling is used to provide prioritized QoS at the IP layer. The inter-working of the EDCA scheme in the WLAN and the WRR scheduling scheme in the wired network provides end-to-end QoS on a WLAN-wired IP network. A mapping module is introduced to enable the inter-working of the EDCA and WRR mechanisms
