デジタル展示に向けた写真プリント画像生成に関する検討

デジタル展示に向けた写真プリント画像生成に関する検討東京工芸大学写大ギャラリーには10000点余りの貴重な写真プリント作品が所蔵されている。これらの作品は年数回の企画展等で公開しているが、スペース的に展示可能な点数には限度がある。そこで、モニタを用いたデジタル展示が新たな公開手段として期待される。その際、本来の写真プリントが持つ色合いを忠実に再現することが必要となる。本研究ではハイパースペクトルカメラによって写真プリントの分光放射輝度を測定し、展示光および展示用モニタの色再現特性を考慮した画像生成を行ったので報告する。There are over 10,000 valuable photographic print works created by famous photographers inthe SHADAI gallery of Tokyo Polytechnic University. 鳥蟲篆の判読性と字体の保持 ― 装飾的字画変形の検証 ―

　Bird Seal Script is an engraving typeface that was used for seals in the Chinese continent during the Han Dynasty. The origin of this typeface is a bronze inscription made in southern China during the Spring and Autumn period and Warring period. The ultimate goal of this study is to prove that the Bird Seal Script is the oldest typeface that intentionally uses non-verbal communication functions in the Kanji cultural sphere.　In this article, we analyzed the shape of the Bird seal script, which has poor legibility, and confirmed that the structure of the stroke remains unchanged. This proved that the Bird seal script has legibility and language transfer function, and confirmed the premise that the Bird Seal Script can be evaluated as a typeface. In addition, it was suggested that reducing the readability and legibility of characters has the effect of increasing the confidentiality of the seal

声に出して読む数式—その標準化の可能性

数学教育学会では、研究グループ「数式音読SG」が新たに発足し、第1回ワークショップが2018年8月6日に開催された。この研究グループでは、数式を声に出して読むことの教育的意義に関する教育心理学における先行研究に基づいて、学校現場で数式を読む方法の標準を構築するための基礎研究を目的としている。このような研究は、小学校から大学までの教育現場に直接影響を与えることが期待されており、多くの人々の知識と実証データを収集することにより促進されるべきである。本論考では、上記の研究グループが本格始動する前の準備として、小学校から大学までのカリキュラムに含まれるいくつかの数式について、日本語と英語での読み方を比較・検討したい。At Mathematics Education Society of Japan, a new research group “Mathematical Reading AloudSG” was newly established, and the first workshop was held on August 6, 2018. The purpose ofthis research group is basic research to build a standard for reading mathematical formulas at schoolbased on previous research in educational psychology regarding the educational significance of readingmathematical formulas aloud. Such research is expected to have a direct impact on the educationalsetting from elementary school to university and should be facilitated by collecting the knowledge andempirical data of many people. In this paper, as a preparation before the above research group startsfull-scale, I would like to compare and examine how to read some mathematical formulas included inthe curriculum from elementary school to university in Japanese and English

「Society 5.0」における教育とは(2)〜これからの社会における教育のあり方を考える〜

本論では、第1章でSociety 5.0における大学組織マネジメントについて論じた。第2章では、Society 5.0に向けた科学技術教育について論じた。第3章では、Society 5.0における情報科学教育について論じた。The purpose of this study is to consider the new education system suggested by Japanese Government. The system is called Society 5.0. Chapter 1 tries to consider the relevance of Society5.0 and the organization of University, referring to the characteristic of intellectual capital management at university. In chapter 2, Kawasumi describes what should lecture on “Science and Technology in Modern Society” for Society 5.0. In chapter 3, Kashiwagi addresses computer science problems and describes informatics education in Modern Society” for Society 5.0

AI時代に求められる汎用能力に関する試論

　This paper clarifies two issues. One is how technological innovation such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) affects the industrial society. The other is what kind of General-Purpose Ability we will need in the changing business environment. The analysis is as follows. First, it surveys technological innovation historically, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Second, it defines general purpose ability, considering prior studies. Third, as a tentative study it suggests three abilities which will be more important for the modern workers: "ability to interact", "service orientation", and "added value creativity". Finally, based on the above, this paper suggests the role of liberal arts education in the university
