Gipsy Countess
Gipsy verse 1O, how can a poor gipsy maiden like me,Ever hope the proud bride of a noble to be?To some bright jewelled beauty thy vows will be paid,And thou wilt forget her, the poor gipsy maid,And thou wilt forget her, the poor gipsy maid.
Earl verse 1Away with that thought! I am free, I am free,To devote all the love of my spirit to thee;Young rose of the wilderness, blushing and sweet! All my heart. all my fortune, I lay at thy feet,All my heart, all my fortune, I lay at thy feet;By you bright moon above!
GipsyThat can change a man\u27s love!
EarlBy the sun\u27s constant ray!
GipsyThat night\u27s tears chase away!O never by thee will my trust be betrayed, Thou wilt love me forever, thine own gipsy maid,Thou wilt love me forever, thine own gipsy maid.
Earl verse 2I have lands and proud dwellings, and all shall be thine,And a coronet, Zillah, thy brow shall entwine;Thou shalt never have reason my faith to upbraid, For a Countess I\u27ll make thee, my own gipsy maid,For a Countess I\u27ll make thee, my own gipsy maid;Then fly with me now;
Gipsy Shall I trust to thy vow?
EarlO yes,; come away!
GipsyWilt thou never betray? O never by thee will my trust be betrayed,Thou wilt love me forever, thine own gipsy maid, Thou wilt love me forever, thine own gipsy maid
The Need to Support of Data Flow Graph Visualization of Forensic Lucid Programs, Forensic Evidence, and their Evaluation by GIPSY
Lucid programs are data-flow programs and can be visually represented as data
flow graphs (DFGs) and composed visually. Forensic Lucid, a Lucid dialect, is a
language to specify and reason about cyberforensic cases. It includes the
encoding of the evidence (representing the context of evaluation) and the crime
scene modeling in order to validate claims against the model and perform event
reconstruction, potentially within large swaths of digital evidence. To aid
investigators to model the scene and evaluate it, instead of typing a Forensic
Lucid program, we propose to expand the design and implementation of the Lucid
DFG programming onto Forensic Lucid case modeling and specification to enhance
the usability of the language and the system and its behavior. We briefly
discuss the related work on visual programming an DFG modeling in an attempt to
define and select one approach or a composition of approaches for Forensic
Lucid based on various criteria such as previous implementation, wide use,
formal backing in terms of semantics and translation. In the end, we solicit
the readers' constructive, opinions, feedback, comments, and recommendations
within the context of this short discussion.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures, index; extended abstract presented at VizSec'10

Advances in the Design and Implementation of a Multi-Tier Architecture in the GIPSY Environment
We present advances in the software engineering design and implementation of
the multi-tier run-time system for the General Intensional Programming System
(GIPSY) by further unifying the distributed technologies used to implement the
Demand Migration Framework (DMF) in order to streamline distributed execution
of hybrid intensional-imperative programs using Java.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figure
Romani Kris in Hungary, Romania and Finland
Abstract:
If we consider their roots and origins, it is primarily the
culture of the olah Gipsy in Hungary that has an independent,
unique and
rare dispute settlement forum, which is called the Gipsy lore or
Romani kris. The Olah Gipsy are distinct from the Hungarian
gipsy
population since they have preserved their linguistic
traditions, customs and internal jurisdiction along with their
culture. Forums
are convened whenever problems arise and thereby minor disputes
between people are typically settled in accordance with a strict
and unique internal system of rules by ’dealing out justice’
instead of the costly verdicts adopted by the state that often
impose
penalties. In the scope of a fast and rightful process
implemented in accordance with a formalised and strict system of
rules, they
use a variety of the Gipsy language that is characterised by
solemn and carefully chosen linguistic expressions. Romani kris
(the
Gipsy court) serves as a community dispute settlement forum and
has a marked influence also on everyday life since it does
’Kristi’
in any matter arising by and between Gipsies.
I wish to describe the active dispute settlement culture of the
Romani society by illustrating the Indian historic background
and possible routes of wandering as well as the way the Olah
Gipsies seek justice. I also shortly touched upon the specific
solutions
of the Gipsy members of the Romanian and Finish societies to
seek justice.

Gipsy 3D: Analysis, Visualization and Vo-Tools
The scientific goals of the AMIGA project are based on the analysis of a
significant amount of spectroscopic 3D data. In order to perform this work we
present an initiative to develop a new VO compliant package, including present
core applications and tasks offered by the Groningen Image Processing System
(GIPSY), and new ones based on use cases elaborated in collaboration with ad-
vanced users. One of the main goals is to provide local interoperability
between GIPSY (visualization and data analysis) and other VO software. The
connectivity with the Virtual Observatory environment will provide general
access to 3D data VO archives and services, maximizing the potential for
scientific discovery.Comment: 2 pages, 1 figure, to appear in the proceedings of the
