Econophysical Approaches for the Direct Foreign Investments

In this paper will be applied some principles and methods from econophysics in the case of the direct foreign investitions (D.F.I.), particularised for the Greenfield type, and mixed firms of trade and industrial production (Joint Ventures). To this aim will be used some similarities and parallelisms between the mentioned economic domains and some phenomena and processes from physics, especially from thermodynamics, solid state physics (the grow of crystals and thin policrystalline layers etc.), electromagnetism etc.econophysics, thin films, direct investments, joint-venture,greenfield.

Direct Foreign Investments And Productivity Growth In Hungarian Firms, 1992-1999

The impact of FDI on total factor productivity in Hungary during the 1990s' is assessed with a large enterprise panel. Foreign equity is associated with higher productivity levels and has a substantial, positive spillover effect on aggregate TFP growth. However, this benefit is significant only when associated with export orientation, while inward-looking FDI has negative side effects. Regionally, the north-western area, close to EU borders, benefits much more from FDI, whether foreign-owned or locally-owned private firms are considered. Otherwise, only the later absorb a reduced volume of externalities. Statistic analysis of directional foreign investments in Ukraine

У статті на основі даних Державної служби статистики проведено статистичний аналіз прямих іноземних інвестицій в Україні. За допомогою статистичних методів проаналізовано структуру та нерівномірність розподілу прямих іноземних інвестицій за регіонами, видами економічної діяльності та країнами-інвесторами. Проаналізувавши обсяги та розподіл прямих іноземних інвестицій, зроблено висновок, що з кожним роком поглиблюється диференціація регіонів та видів економічної діяльності.Statistical analysis of direct foreign investments in Ukraine was carried out on the basis of data of State Service of Statistics of Ukraine. The structure and unequal distribution of direct foreign investments throughout the regions, types of economic activity and investing countries were analyzed with the help of statistical methods. Analyzing of the volume and distribution of direct foreign investments led to conclusion that the differentiation of regions and types of economic activity by the volume of secured direct foreign investments becomes deeper year by year.В статье на основе данных Государственной службы статистики проведен статистический анализ прямых иностранных инвестиций в Украине. Some Peculiarities of the Development of Small Economies

In terms of intense globalization, the development of economics acquires certain peculiarities. National, regional and international interests intersect and much effort is needed to avoid conflicts, support the development and strengthening of the country. Small scales of economy have a certain affect on the limited resources, and therefore, some extra stimuli to make the development permanent and irreversible are needed. In this respect, direct foreign investments can be prioritized. When describing the association between the GDP and direct foreign investments, the reliability and methods of calculation of statistical data must be considered. In addition, the question as how reasonable it is to make direct foreign investments in some or other field is to be considered. Thorough understanding of the problem and foreseeing the prospects gives the countries with small open economies a chance to develop their national production in the way to support the improvement of the country’s competitiveness
